Don’t listen to the bad orange man behind the glass curtain
Washington, D.C., U.S.A
With four years of “winning” madness of the Donald Trump presidency of 2017-2021, capped by the living hell he put this country through in 2020 with the pandemic he so dearly decided to play down, it’s bewildering why Trump wanted to still stick around for another four as the nation still grapples with the resurgent pandemic (with new strains of COVID) and a brand new depression during a bigger gilded age. The election wasn’t even called when Trump held a press conference making various claims of voting discrepancies in red and swing states as Biden/Harris won bigly into the night on election day when he announced his refusal to concede.
During his last 60 days, he just wanted to bust everyone’s balls and go into civilian life while spraying bullets of invective bullshit just like he did on his sore winner transition tour after his victory over Hillary in 2016. Which is what he did when he began his Stop the Steal campaign, sending counselors Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell to a dozen swing states to overturn results for the election awarded to Hidin’ Joe Biden and it ultimately led to bupkus. During this time, Trump’s MAGA hordes on social media, notably on new platform Parler, were whipped up into frenzied indignation and refused to accept the results along with the former Chief Executive. Following the final court dismissals of the election results, Trump announced on the twitter of a rally assembly at the Ellipse Park on 1/6/2021 and hyped it to his devoted followers that the event will be “WILD”
Following opening act Rudy Giuliani, who the last time he riled up a crowd this amped was when he addressed off-duty NYPD officers protesting against a civilian board to monitor recidivist rogue cops and abuses of authority, Donald Trump spoke to his adoring Stans about rigged machines, social media’s pernicious influence and the complacent and complicit Republicans that turned on him and they were more passionately pissed about his defeat and about his collective enemies than he was. Ex-President Trump, behind a massive glass curtain, preached words of strength, maligned his enemies some more and praised what remained of his allies in the Senate and House and laid his final executive order with a subtle threat to fix the electoral results to Vice President Mike Pence. Trump capped off his final diatribe by telling his thousands of supporters in the park to meet him at the Capitol and give those legislators and the VP a piece of their minds.
Meeting up with a critical mass standing by at the U.S. Capitol grounds, tens of thousands of people with many wielding 8 foot flag poles waving myriad flags marched towards the Congressional building to “stop the steal”. When they all assembled and surrounded the Capitol building , they were greeted by a stunningly undermanned and under fortified in comparison to the big glass window that was set in front of Donnie during his disgruntled Patton-esque speech. After being basically invited in by capitol cops, the MAGA vortex charged and took control.
After trying to persuade the Capital cops to join forces with them, Trump’s supporters immediately overwhelmed the building and the cops, who only defense from the MAGA vortex were rinky dink security gates that wouldn’t be protective enough to lock a bike on and their trusty flash bangs and tear gas grenades. The optics of the ensuing rush by the people resembled takeovers normally seen in third world countries or a session at Barry’s Boot Camp. Many even dressed like soldiers for the fact being they once were, especially the ones who actually climbed the walls to get to the Capitol’s mezzanine level. Capitol cops stationed by the steps spent all their pepper spray, rubber bullets and flash bangs to protect Congress, which just made the MAGA horde madder as they fought back with bear spray and mace and weaponizing their flagpoles draped with Old Glory and Trump’s name on them. Then the MAGA vortex penetrated the Captiol doors and barged in, determined to get to the millionaire senators and the electoral votes. Five deaths resulted from the chaos and disorder. And a man got to sit at Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk with his legs kicked up, which must have pleased Donnie to no end.
For 6 hours, the MAGA vortex subsumed the biggest and most powerful legislative body in the nation and the world inside and outside the Capitol building, all for Trump and his incorrect take on the election results. Even though Donnie promised to meet them at the Capitol to stop the steal that wasn’t, he went to the White House and retired to his bunker instead, watching the insurgency he inspired unfold on TV presumably eating his beloved double quarter pounders and Diet Coke while shouts of calling for lynching Democrats and for Mike Pence’s hanging permeated the air. Eventually he would re-surface in a video calling for the MAGA horde to go home in peace on his last social media appearance on Twitter.
But the damage had already been thoroughly done, what manifested from Trump’s final public gathering as commander in chief was a near (or total) approximation of what happens in third world countries with tin pot dictators and monarchies when masses of impoverished people rise up and break into and destroy government or parliamentary buildings, the MAGA vortex of the Capitol was basically a Junta in Trump’s name.
Usually with juntas in other nations, they are conspired by our very own CIA (or other countries covert agencies) infiltrating revolutionary contra groups and Defense Dept funding of these proxies. All ex-President Trump did to cause this junta of Congress to disrupt a ceremonial confirmation of a new President was his big mouth and social media status. Although there was evidently sound rationales why the Capitol was stunningly easy to invade. As with 9/11, warnings about violent plans following Trump’s speech on 1/6 were plentiful but went unheeded and undermined and the Capitol cops were deliberately under equipped and undermanned and were deprived of enforcing robust security measures despite the intel about the potential and then realized attacks.
One question I'd like to hear during the impeachment debate: If the FBI was warning about a January 6 attack ahead of the event, how did Trump's speech cause it?
Compared to the George Floyd/Black Lives Matter protest in front of the White House in June last year, when protesters were overmatched by an army of three government enforcement agencies (including the Capitol Police) that oppressed and brutalized them so Trump could pose with a bible in front of a graffiti tagged church. 1/6/2021 at the Capitol was the most lenient #PoliceState repression social and network news media ever aired in real time.
The thing about Trump’s LARP junta is that despite the historic 6-hour hate he inspired, the guy knew he wasn’t going to get what he wanted; the electoral votes were still going to be counted and he knew the Republicans wouldn’t make an impact, and he acknowledged that the next day by recognizing Biden’s congressional victory like nothing fucking happened. The junta in summary was just a big final fuck you to Congress as Trump’s proxy warriors wrecked shit and also smeared shit in the building for him giving Nancy, Mitch and the gang something to remember him by. By showing how fed up people feeling (wrongly) disenfranchised how easy it was to scare the living shit out of a bunch of law making millionaires plus their ideological elected enemies in their own house and the establishment
Even though Trump got vanished by social media, corporate news still couldn’t quit him (baby) as millionaire journalists, pundits and special guest “experts” were discussing disturbing fear mongering bullshit about how to protect the now “sacred” U.S. Capitol from another “insurgency” with the same gravitas as they described citizens rising up against U.S. after Bush and Cheney with Congressional votes illegally invaded and bombed Iraq and occupied the country for 10 years while using that same gravitas to equate 1/6 to the 9/11 attacks.
Social media and web service monopolies wasted no time to expand their censorship carpet bombing following Trump’s platform’s execution as twitter lawnmowered swaths of his supporters while Amazon and Google destroyed their competitor Parler that usurped them from Dorsey’s platform, while slaughtering innocent bystanders like progressive independent news sites and social media accounts as collateral damage from their blanket algorithm violence interpretation bans on words and ideas. Suddenly with the U.S. Capitol “domestic attack”, Big Tech had their own version of the Reichstag Fire and decided to expand on their censorship policies.
In the aftermath of Trump’s LARP junta attempt to thwart the democratic process and lynch elected officials, the U.S. Capitol was transformed into a DMZ zone overnight. Tens of thousands of National Guard troops were deployed to protect the legislative branch elites for weeks until Biden’s inauguration even though there weren’t any reported confirmed threats of a follow up attack. But since the troops swore to protect the country and our freedoms, they had to bunk on the cold floors of the Capitol to assure the building and most of all whatever establishment political processes that usually winds up benefiting the wealthiest persons and corporations to continue without disruption.
Of course the other process the troops had to hold the fort for following days of sleeping in the Capitol’s parking garage was the sequel impeachment of former President Trump, and all it consisted of was a competition of the prosecution’s and the defense’s viral video b-roll compilations of the insurrection and invasion sprinkled with performative breakdowns and outrage from Senate and House officials. After four days of vengeful sound and fury signifying nothing and with a Senate majority voting for impeachment, citizen Donald Trump was ultimately acquitted as expected. Despite everyone and their dog knowing what the outcome was going to be, Congress wasted tax payer time that could have been spent on getting a new stimulus bill passed and $2,000$1,400 checks to American citizens, extensions on relief for small businesses, mortgages and rent suspensions and just maybe getting Medicare For All to be brought on the floor.
But what have we got instead after the impeachment mini-series is the U.S. Capitol and the White House, the foundations of our Democracy, surrounded by barbed wire fences and guarded by a standing army, turning the people’s houses into a modern day Green Zone no different than what we did to Saddam Hussein’s palace when Bush and Cheney illegally overthrew him in 2003 based on predetermined but baseless threats of terrorism. Except this time, the troops aren’t there to protect only democracy or some version of it, they are there to shield the elite lawmakers from perceived domestic terror threats, whether big or small or smaller and even unsubstantiated.
And it’s all because of Donald Trump’s orchestrated and historic attack on the U.S. Capitol that brought decades of U.S. involvement in regime change wars back home to the Democrat and Republican House parties who voted for them. Where they were once desensitized to the violence they wrought in other sovereign places, Trump re-sensitized them by inspiring his Stans to crash their safe space.
Because despite Trump’s virtual absence, they know another insurgency is around the corner, and it will be for a genuine reason. And it won’t be because they don’t believe Trump lost( but to be fair they have some credence because how does a guy who never left the basement in his mansion and rattled off brain fart statements and insults) it’s going to be against continuing austerity bills and incremental aid to the people in addition to Biden’s expected and now confirmed broken promises. Evidently, these fences only serve to discourage inevitable protests and protect the septugenarian and octogenarian millionaires and their anachronistic lawmaking and that mentally declining and hiding career establishment hack sitting and nodding off in the oval office and labels the new war on terror on their own constituency.
But with Trump disappeared, who are they going to peg the next domestic insurgency on? And what makes them think fences and a standing army is going to stop hundreds of thousands of people after they saw how easy it was when Trump’s junta took it over for 6 hours?
Finally. America fires Trump and she has a new president in former Senator and Vice President Joe Biden. Finally for Joe Biden, he has fulfilled his destiny following nearly 50 years of government service and after countless failures in his quest to be commander in chief in the last 30 (except in 2016 when he deferred to Manifest Hillary and stood down).
Uncle Joe’s road to the White House started off as rocky as a lunar landscape and ended up as smooth, protected and gilded like an award show red carpet.Normally if something like this happened to a regular Joe it would be considered a classic Comeback Story, but this is Political Establishment Joe. It sure helped when about 20 people decided to run with Joe in the primary and about half of them plus two billionaires dropped out of the race simultaneously and wound up endorsing him in solidarity, fulfilling the DNC collusion to destroy Bernie Sanders’ second run for president. Even though Joe had no platform, no promises and no inspiration for people to give him their vote and he couldn’t even articulate what they were or even a complete sentence, he still was able to win a lot of states after Sanders narrow loss in Iowa and wins in Nevada and New Hampshire where Joe wound up near or at the bottom in the bottom of the vote tallies.
But when COVID-19 came, all bets were off. The states were primaries were held had low turnouts (even after the Biden campaign recklessly encouraged people to vote despite the risk of contagion) and the next primaries had to be rescheduled. Plus Sanders sappy performance at their last debate enabled Biden’s dominance at the polls in late Spring. While turning the nation and the primary election upside down, the novel virus managed to put Joe over the top and win the nomination with ease.
Normally, such good fortune to come about for someone during a crisis would be humbling, a quality that should come naturally for that someone who is about to compete to run and guide a nation back to prosperity and good health; but again this is Joe Biden, career politician whose loose ethics and morals and arrogance belie his straight shooter ruse personality. Biden defiantly declared to radio show host Charlemagne The God, a Black Man, that if Black People don’t vote for him they aint black. On the campaign trail at town halls, he thoroughly insulted people to their faces and challenged them to fights who challenged him on his promises and his past legislative decisions and policies, even union workers and military veterans. When a man asked him about immigration policy while he was VP, which was found that the Obama administration built those cages the kids are kept in that Trump got excoriated for, Joe Biden told that man to vote for the other guy. Yet through all that, what would at one time would have ended a campaign and also a career, Biden got away unscathed again and trudged along.
The primary winner also got away unscathed when a woman named Tara Reade, who in an interview with Katie Halper came out about a horrific experience she had with Senator Biden when he sexually assaulted her after she brought him a travel bag. Usually, a story like that would be relentlessly pursued by corporate news and the ramifications for the accused candidate would result in expulsion and resignation like with what happened with Gary Hart. But this is Joe Biden, the chosen one by Corporate News to rid the nation of a second term of President Trump. Even with the #MeToo movement still fresh in the zeitgeist, suddenly it didn’t apply to Joe Biden’s own salacious lust driven by his entitlement as an elected official.
Joe’s string of luck really hit a zenith when a laptop belonging to his never-do-well eldest son Hunter Biden that had a cavalcade of damning emails and messages of incriminating pay to play quid pro quo corruption with foreign leaders and corporations in which Hunter was parlaying his dad’s name and current position as the second highest official in the U.S.A. while high on crack that was sitting in the FBI’s hands for almost a year (an FBI that is under the employ of President Trump) that got never revealed until a copy of the hard drives contents made it to the New York Post via Rudy Giuliani and they published Hunter’s trove in dozens of articles, but when the Post tried to disseminate it on their social media accounts, tech monopolies Facebook and Twitter throttled those stories on baseless assumptions of hacked materials. Lucky for Joe, a protection racket with these corporations responsible for the dissemination of information united in solidarity to kill the momentum of these scandals.
Then Joe’s luck really got hot when COVID-19 got the President of the United States and right after their shitshow debate when Donnie made of Joe for wearing a mask. Even though Donnie came back strong tripping balls on the covid cocktail his physicians concocted for him, the fact that he thought he could ride the re-election campaign out without getting infected while blowing off wearing the mask surely had an immediate impact and discredited him to a lot of voters, along with his incorrect evaluation of the virus subsiding as cases and deaths arise from the coronavirus across the land.
Now after all those obstacles, misfortune, gaffes and telltale signs of first stage dementia, here Joe is, the president elect at 78 years old. And he didn’t even have to leave his basement at his mansion or even speak to the press as he was blatantly and brazenly avoiding them as his campaign team put “lids” on Biden’s availability as early as 10 a.m..
Joe’s road to victory was so easy and paved with gold by all media outlets and the megamoney driven loyalist and royalist Democrat Party it should be considered a new wonder of the world, because even the celebration that’s ensued is rife with anomaly, people on the streets are celebrating more about the fact that Trump was defeated than about Biden winning (even Dem hack Chuck Schumer, who is jumping around with his clique clustered by the Grand Army Plaza while maskless)
Joe Biden is truly the luckiest man on the face of the earth as well as VP Kamala Harris, the luckiest woman on the face of the earth who was the first to drop out of the race after being hyped as a top-tier candidate by corporate news and getting destroyed in the debate by Tulsi Gabbard. But despite their triumph, they are still victors of circumstance made possible by the pandemic regaining strength. So technically this is more a COVID d’etat than a natural transfer of power through democracy as people voted based on fear than on real change they can believe in and also more people got sick of Trump and just wanted to have his show cancelled. And that’s the best luck you can get when people feel they don’t have a real choice and it has worked out swimmingly for the President-elect, who needed a crisis and a wretched opponent to finally get into the oval office.
Millions of people may be happy now, but don’t expect things to fundamentally change. This is Joe Biden here, and even if the vaccines are ready and the pandemic finally ends, you’re going to have to make your own luck.
As the NYPD are busy trying to monitor protests that are getting more chaotic with polarizing assemblies of people from the left and the right, shootings continue to escalate on the streets of New York in an increase of 96% compared to last year with a 37% increase of casualties. The stats are more pronounced on the city’s public housing complexes with a 41% rise in homicides on the grounds and inside of the buildings.
Crime in the subway has held steady even though ridership has plummeted and has not rebounded despite having the lowest percentage of COVID-19 cases compared to other states in the USA. Although the subway train window smasher is still on the loose and is still smashing windows in defiance of the MTA’s $12,500 reward and the continued lack of presence of NYPD patrolling the stations.

And again in Midtown at the 51st St. Station, a man grabbed a woman’s ass and then called her fat on the platform.
And again in Midtown, the Black Lives Matter street mural in front of Trump Tower got defaced again by a big black truck that spilled gallons of tar from 57th st. to 56th st. while traffic was still busy. Pretty sure that mess is still there because the D.O.T. is going to have to chop up the street to get that shit off. You lost de Blaso, the city can’t afford to fix your vanity concern troll statement anymore.
And again in Midtown a few blocks north of Trump Tower, a group of protesters assembled on 5th Avenue to yell curses and throw eggs and rocks at a motorcade of cars in support for the President and his re-election as some tried to grab their giant flags as they passed. When Mayor Rudy Giuliani rolled up riding shotgun in a car passing the protesters, he was subjected to middle fingers and other Bronx cheers and vulgarities.

And again in Midtown, a crane set up at the top of behemoth luxury tower on Billionaire Row on 57th St. started rotating swiftly in the wind like a music box ballerina and knocked off two 8-foot metal slats that crashed to the street below. The Department of Buildings issued a stop work order to the developers after deeming the incident with the default word of feigned outrage “unacceptable”.
NYC “weathervaning” construction crane atop 85-story building at 111 W 57th St near 6th. Two 8-foot long pieces have already fallen to the street. https://t.co/mezryM7Qro
Also in Times Square, protesters assembled on the street to catch the Trump support motorcade and after paint was thrown at and flags were being ripped from the vehicles, some Trump boosters stepped out and confronted them and a clash ensued between the polarized groups with the NYPD in the middle of the fracas as men and woman brawled with each other.
In Soho, brazen looting of high end products from designer fashion stores is still happening daily in the last 5 months with robberies happening in broad daylight as they rush into the store and grab all the expensive shit they can and then hop in a luxury car awaiting them outside. As the crooks get away with tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, Store management and burly security guards let them rush out with the goods with impunity because they don’t want to be called racist and get excoriated on social media.

And again in Chelsea, a group of activists assembled on the street awaiting for a pro-Trump caravan of flag waving vehicles to show up were suddenly swarmed by cops when an order to get on the sidewalk by an audio message wasn’t obeyed fast enough by the protesters.
Cops arrested 2 journalists and 8 counter protesters in Chelsea, NYC, today. They were there to counter protest the #MAGADrag caravan that did not go through the expected parts of Manhattan
While the armored and battle ready cops were engaging in one-sided combat with a comparably small crowd that was dispersing from the area, hundreds of people participating in a four-borough convoy ride dubbed the MAGAdrag were driving around with their license plates taped over and standing still and obstructing traffic on the Whitestone Bridge while waving flags mimicking old glory and for Trump’s re-election. When a woman tried to get photos of some of these violators obscuring their license plates in Belle Harbor, a cop stood thisclose facing her to obstruct her focus.
The MAGAdrag never set one tire track in Manhattan nor where there any reports of citations being issued for the obscured plates and standing on the bridges. According to a Trump booster member of the Proud Boys, the NYPD reached out to them and told them not to drive into the city because there wasn’t enough personnel to handle them and the described Antifa/BLM crowd simultaneously and then the MAGAdrag altered their route the moment they got that bulletin. Sure looks like de Blasio’s NYPD colluded with MAGAdrag so they can oppress and incarcerated a group of people that disagree with them along with the collateral suppression of journalists that were documenting the actions of the militarized cops.
In Greenwich Village, a man attacked another man with a knife because he was wearing a hat supporting President Trump.
Also in Greenwich Village at the West 4th St. Station, a man attacked another man on the D train and wailed on him with punches and bit a friend of his who tried to stop the goon. Then a woman intervened and whacked the two men with an umbrella and ran away with the perp.

And again in the Upper East Side, a man got killed by an SUV driver in a hit and run while he was riding his ebike delivering pizzas. The driver abandoned the vehicle a block away from the carnage.
With cycling becoming a popular choice for commuting as an alternative to mass transit, along with the dependence of food-app take out deliveries for sustenance; bicycle theft has rose in the last seven months since the pandemic hit NYC. Especially against the food-app contractors; who have to work for two companies just to barely earn a living wage and have to risk their lives just to keep their ebikes, which retail for about $2,000.
Also in Bushwick at the Dekalb Ave. Station, big bubble graffiti is splayed all over the walls at the platform. Just like in the bad old days.

Thread: Tonight, as activists with @abolitionpark were leaving a meeting at a park in BedStuy, they noticed police conducting a search warrant at a nearby apartment building. One tried to film the event. This is how the cops responded. pic.twitter.com/yVTG8fN2EG
In Bed-Stuy, a woman was being followed by a group of cops and then they surrounded her by a tree and one of them smacked her cellphone out of her hand and arrested her for filming the escalation against her. Then they took her to 75th Pct., where a large gathering of people showed up to protest against her and other people who got arrested that were assembling at a nearby park. A woman got kicked out of the precinct when she tried to get information about her friend who got detained. As the crowd of protesters got restless, the cops shielded themselves with steel barricades at the front of their station house. Then de Blasio’s and Shea’s NYPD knocked their barricades down and charged at the group and pepper sprayed and arrested an 18-year-old man who they accused of attacking them with the barricade they pushed and two other people during the clash they induced. They kept them and the woman they renditioned on the sidewalk from earlier for more than 30 hours.

Let October 14th 2020 go down in history as the day when censorship became policy by a monopolistic social media monolith.
It started off rather innocuously. The New York Post published the long awaited but already well known and confirmed story of presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s pay to play corruption to obscenely enrich himself, his father and an energy company in Ukraine who hired him and paid him over 80 grand a month through email messages procured from a laptop Hunter (or someone close to him) carelessly left behind at a computer repair shop. This expose’ instantly debunked Joe’s persistent claims that he never had contact with any executive from the foreign company Hunter worked for and exposed how the vice president abused his position and duties to get a prosecutor fired in Ukraine that was investigating corruption inside the company Hunter worked for. Which Biden defiantly bragged about doing when he answered a question during a forum on foreign policy only 2 years ago.
The NY Post followed this up with a flurry of other stories of Hunter Biden using his relation to the second most powerful person in America at the time to acquire more wealth and influence for the companies and acquaintances he associated with. Which were immediately available on the NY Post’s social media accounts…
And then at 2:20 in the afternoon, it stopped.
Like a new age tech version of Paul Revere (and also Benedict Arnold as this post will go on to show), some establishment Democrat Party apparatchik asshole from Facebook blabbed that Zuckerberg’s social network was going to limit the distribution of various stories of the Biden expose’ by manipulating the links to them, then Jack Dorsey’s social network went full bore and eliminated access to the NY Post links entirely and locked the nation’s oldest newspaper access to the platform by claiming that the information was acquired was previously hacked even though Hunter’s email file was only removed physically from the hard drive and not internally through the internet. Other high profile casualties of twitter’s memory hole tactic were President Trump’s Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and President Trump’s second daughter Tiffany, suspending their accounts for tweeting the links. Twitter also brazenly told Kayleigh to remove her tweets about the NY Post stories to regain her account with them, basically using extortion against a high profile government official to get what they want.
What Jack Dorsey’s Twitter’s suppression of the Biden stories did was the equivalent of a mass shooting by making the NY Post and every other corporate run and independent news source and the general public and their rights to read the news and be informed and decide for themselves whats false or true the biggest casualties of all. The lunacy of this initiative to suppress the links is as if it was a normal thing to do and they expected no repercussions from it. It demonstrates, no, verifies that Twitter has a censorship policy and will utilize it when it sees fit. And in this case it’s to protect Joe Biden and his campaign for the presidency.
But what makes this suppression of the fourth estate from this private corporation glaringly horrific and basically stupid is that Twitter is technically violating their own policies. From it’s claims that the emails were hacked even though Hunter’s email files was only removed physically from the hard drive and not through the internet. Twitter made their revisionist vetting and crass decision of voiding the links of the NY Post stories by placing a story provided by Washington Post that purports to debunk the meeting Hunter arranged with the Burisma partner and his dad at the top of their trending column in spite of the NY Post’s published message confirming that arrangement.
Basically, all this showed was that Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos confirmed Biden didn’t have a prosecutor fired to save Hunter from getting indicted, showing tech overlord solidarity for Trump’s immensely flawed and corrupted opponent. And because Twitter cannot shut everyone up because that would make them extinct, blue check and non-blue check twitter account holders consisting of elected officials, conservative and liberal pundits/laypersons and the Trump re-election campaign drones of course naturally pounced on the banishment of the NY Post links, posting screenshots of the articles as the paper of record were dishing out updates to the Biden scandals.
As expected when the Bezos Post article trend didn’t have the result he desired to legitimize Twitter’s censorship , @jack resurfaced via a tweet and meekly described what his company did as unacceptable after a Senator excoriated him and his company for the “unacceptable” action they took to ban the links.
Jack’s digital mea culpa was obviously not sincere, which should be flagged itself for being misleading content going by Twitter regulations. And to confirm how full of shit he was, what happened hours later after his tweet would magnify then justify even more suspicions about his social networking platform’s agenda driven tactics. Hours before Biden and Trump were about to take questions from “undecided” voters in town halls that were on precisely the same time at 8 p.m., Twitter suddenly had a breakdown. Then as the debates town halls began, it remained down for a considerable amount of time making tweeting comments about Trump and Biden impossible.
Twitter’s announcement/spin that there was a problem with their internal systems was fishy, considering that only some regions were affected by the blackout, mostly in the blue state Northeast coast and California. Which explains that although you couldn’t tweet about Trump or Biden, the platform was still available and trends were still updating, including the damning #TwitterCensorship. Other noticeable things after the twitter blackout ended were what was trending during the town halls because for some reason, nah, for obvious reason #BidenTownHall was trending and available more readily than #TrumpTownHall.
Considering what Jack and Twitter decided to do the day before, it strains credulity that this blackout was a technical breakdown. Considering how they were capable of manufacturing consent by purposely blocking links, how inconceivable would it be that Twitter wouldn’t manufacture a shutdown?
Coincidentally, ninety minutes after Trump’s town hall ended and 90 minutes after Biden’s town hall ended. Twitter’s spokeslady tweeted a damage control thread about their new guidelines regarding stories stemming from hacked materials (which they themselves got wrong) and redoing their labeling of tweets Twitter deems harmful or false or harmfully false.
Despite this feeble attempt of self-regulating reform of their news distribution policies, twitter is still blocking the NY Post’s account from posting tweets of their latest stories that aren’t Biden related! And won’t take the paper out of twitter jail until they refrain from posting the Bidens’ scandal stories. But for all intents and purposes, it seems like Twitter is extorting the NY Post to prevent them from doing any more stories about the Bidens to get their social media distribution abilities back. But like first strike at suppressing news stories, it’s still not going to stop people from posting the most incriminating information about a presidential candidate since, well, Hillary Clinton 4 years ago. But @jack and his twitter arbiters would not know of this concept because they were barely out of diapers or even in their daddy’s sperm when Tipper Gore wanted to label Metal and Rap records for their content and their hands were still being held when Barbara Striesand tried to accomplish something similar by stopping the press from distributing pics of her mansion, leading to a mass influx of gawkers.
Twitter’s ghoulish and fascistic ban on the NY Post is not only trying to normalize censorship but is also further normalizing manufacturing consent by being able to do it faster than what the old former big 4 networks did before the internet because of the technology and talent they have. The wretched thing is that the signs of this new normalization of tech censorship were already brazenly being implemented for years but it was a passive aggressive form of censorship when they when @jack and twitter were shadowbanning conservative people an their views from being disseminated. And it got legitimized by Zuckerbergs Facebook only a few months ago when they decided to ban QAnon advocates and their views and theories from their platform.
But what makes Twitter’s censorship an established part of our society now is that it has quite a large base of supporters. Who are quick to defend @jack’s policies because they like who and what views and ideas are being suppressed. And now with Biden, with the President they collectively despise. And these people also work in the same medium with the NY Post, being journalism. Their fervor for Twitter’s unacceptable actions and ad hominem attacks against the NY Post and the Biden expose’ is just as rancorous as those who unquestionably support the police despite the systemic rot that is plaguing them regarding brutality, bias and oppression against protesters.
Never forget that it was JOURNALISTS who badgered and berated the tech companies to seize greater censorship powers. In the past, journalists loathed censorship as antithetical to their entire profession. Today, they demand it
Most disturbingly worrisome of all, the New Twitter’s biggest supporter right now is Joe Biden, who already feels he’s absolved of his unethical and immoral abuse of his position while he was VP because of the de-platforming of his son’s transgressions of exploiting his dad as leverage to acquire millions of dollars while he was jetsetting to foreign nations on our tax dollars. When a reporter asked Uncle Joe about his son’s emails, he viciously blew it off as a smear. Biden has been belligerent with reporters before and also with people who questioned his policies and ethics in his 47 year career as an elected official and vice president, but Twitter’s banishment of the NY Post and their stories of his fucked up son’s sordid quid pro quo deals with corporations and nations that Joe enabled and played a proactive partner with him with his threat to withhold aid money to the Ukrainian government has clearly emboldened him to chastise journalists in the same manner that President Trump does with his fake news tropes against them.
What @jack and Twitter (and Facebook) did laid the prospect and also basically assured that they would not only be hardcore arbiters of any news story that gets placed on their platform but will also be a dutiful news media apparatus for the Biden/Harris administration, whether about policies foreign and domestic, standard insider gossip, constructive criticism, standard and vitriolic opinions and even satires and memes and most essentially any alleged corruption in the White House. Or corruption involving Hunter.
Despite the pathetic way Twitter has modified their guidelines, by extorting the NY Post from getting their account back, their guidelines and regulations they made are still violations of the unalienable right to know and a violation of the right to information itself. Sure journalists and publications will still be able to report the news, but the people who use these platforms will be stopped from deciding to see them and make their own conclusions about them. And they are expected to accept that.
And they will continue violating your right to know. Because twitter knows better than you and should have the unalienable right to determine what you should know.
Now that’s what really is unsafe and truly unacceptable, @jack.
What a way to end a term. All throughout his presidency, Donald Trump frequently employed teasers when he spoke to the press and address the nation through his rare addresses to the people and his millions of tweets, mostly the refrain “we’ll see what happens” Much to the President’s chagrin, he didn’t employ that phrase when he blew off the severity of the COVID and now it’s certainly looking like the novel virus will actually thwart his re-election bid with a fucking vengeance.
Look what’s happened since Donald got infected (and when he knew he was already). While he was recuperating on supplemental oxygen and a Long Island Ice Tea styled cocktail of experimental coronavirus resistant drugs, over 30 people that came in contact or was in the presence of the President also got infected with the COVID. And all signs pointed to and were confirmed by a shitstorm of news reports of the announcement of Trump’s pick to replace the departed Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s supreme court seat to GOP and Big Corporation darling Amy Cohen Barrett in the Rose Garden.
Now it looks as if this mad rush to fill RBG’s position was a huge mistake and Trump and the GOP party should have took their own advice and waited until the election year was over to announce their pick instead of gathering together without masks and appropriate measure of distancing. And continuing the celebration of Trump’s nomination in a soiree inside the White House. Because over 30 people in Trump’s circle caught the contagion.
And these were all of Trump’s closest and most recognizable aides, notably the revolting adviser Stephen Miller and press speaker Kayleign McEnany and former steady state spin meister Kellyanne Conway, who wound up giving the bug to her rebelliously incorrigible and social media savvy daughter (whose online rants made her mom quit her job). COVIDIOT Senator Mike Lee got infected and he hugged two people and two other GOP party senators got the Rona too, which should sideline them from their official duties questioning the justice nominee under oath in the Senate.
On Trump’s re-election team, his campaign manager Bill Seppian tested positive along with a few other aides. Former NJ Governor Chris Christie wound up hospitalized after getting infected and he was working on Trump’s campaign and the RNC Chairperson Rona McDonnell caught the Rona also. Oh my mistake her name is Ronna, fuck it, it still works.
Bad enough Trump decided to play down the virus and his insouciance led to the deaths of 210,000 Americans, but his cocksure defiance of just taking the simplest precaution of wearing a mask allow the virus to spread and take over his administration and his Republican party allies/sycophants is purely a COVID d’etat. Sure it would not be remiss to cite some kind of divine intervention as obvious as Justice RBG’s apparition hovering over the Rose Garden and hexing it, but Trump and the Senate Republicans were already making a list to fill her seat a week before she died (a list that included Trump’s nemesis Lying Ted Cruz) so they surely don’t give a shit about supernatural shit like that as much as they have fear in the God they act like they believe in. No, the Rona is the real shit, it doesn’t adhere to religion and politics, it doesn’t discriminate and gets everyone. And Trump and his maskless avengers were easy prey for it.
In just a few weeks after Trump got the COVID, “Nothing Will Fundamentally Change” Joe Biden shot up in the polls without doing a damn thing except doing the obvious, wearing the face mask. Trump polling with senior citizens has cratered, a demographic that put him over the top in 2016 (in correlation with millions of people not showing up to vote). Trump also sabotaged himself by announcing on the twitter that he won’t sign a new emergency stimulus bill unless he wins re-election. And the batshit nutty video he produced of him standing tall on the White House balcony, pulling off his mask and gasping for air didn’t work like he thought it would. Although Trump survived, COVID-19 still stomped his ass and his manufactured projection of strength was a sad parody of despotic might.
But apparently, Trump is still trying to put a brave front despite his waning popularity and it looks the president is still loaded on all those steroids and the experimental drugs the taxpayers paid for that are not be available to them or will be even affordable to them when they will be.
He’s not only loaded, he’s straight up tripping balls. Trump is treating his still in process recovery as confirmation of his immunity to the novel virus after his obviously intimidated physician announced he wasn’t a transmission risk anymore. The president even went on Medal of Honor recipient Rush Limbaugh’s show and got into some saber rattling against Iran by using the obscenity “fuck” to emphasize his threat against the nation that was left uncensored by the cancerous blabbermouth’s producers.
FUCK is now appropriate for national broadcast radio and network television.
Trump unofficially ends his presidency on a high note.
Now the crazy bastard is going back on the campaign trail, greeting his enthusiastic followers again in spite of what professional physicians, the press, and Trump’s million of detractors say (and even Trump’s own advisors). Surely he will be maskless too, as his audience will imitate in kind. The glaring aspect about this projection of bravery against COVID-19 is that it mostly stems not from the President’s (and his allies and followers) aversion to wearing the face masks but it’s to project legitimacy to being able to existentially adjust to the novel virus and to work while in the presence of it.
To help their corporate donors boost profits and stock prices, Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers have pushed hard to force workers back into unsafe workplaces. During the pandemic, the GOP has brushed off science and reopened economies, demanded liability shields for employers, ended special pandemic unemployment relief, helped Amazon block a worker safety initiative and encouraged states to punish workers who don’t return to their jobs.
For those forced back to COVID-infected workplaces, the Trump administration has weakened the agency that is supposed to be policing workplace safety. And now a new study shows the results: death rates spiked almost immediately after workers pleaded with that agency to help, but were likely ignored.
The analysis of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) data comes from researchers at Harvard, Boston Children’s Hospital and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. It shows that “there is a correlation between OSHA complaints and COVID-19 mortality” — in specific, COVID-related complaints to the agency “are correlated with (COVID-related) deaths 17 days later.”
During the pandemic, researchers note that OSHA “has not issued any emergency or permanent standard specific to COVID-19 exposure at the workplace” and “had issued only four citations related to COVID-19.”
So it’s easy to see why Trump is tweeking on that steroid cocktail he’s on. The president, using his real estate savvy, is trying to legitimize his own diagnosis and inspire the masses to go back to work because he thinks phony courage is the remedy against COVID-19. And the rush to confirm Amy Cohen Barrett, who contracted COVID-19 only a few months ago, makes the prospect to shoot down any OSHA cases brought to SCOTUS highly inevitable.
That is clearly the GOP’s top objective regardless of how many people are killed in the process — and you can even see it in the Supreme Court situation. Trump and Senate Republicans are right now trying to force lawmakers and congressional staff into the COVID hot zone exploding in the U.S. Capitol in order to try to install another corporate rubber-stamp on the Supreme Court, which would ultimately boost corporate profits and crush workers.
Horrifying as that sociopathic plan is, it is merely a microcosm of the GOP’s larger project: Their entire agenda is designed to force workers into unsafe workplaces in order to help their corporate donors.
Those donors want a right-wing Supreme Court, and they don’t care how many federal workers are killed to make that happen.
Evidently with the hot zone Rose Garden nomination party and now with Judge Garrett testifying for the job now, that’s exactly what Trump (and maybe an asymptomatic Judge Cohen Grarret) did, and his top GOP were willing to sacrifice themselves as well. Even if it was a more of a display of herd arrogance and ignorance than herd immunity.
But the existential dread still remains. COVID-19 is still among us, and infecting thousands more a day, even if it’s not killing like it did back in April and May. 50 million people are unemployed and small businesses are dead or in purgatory and schools are still not fully open. Despite Trump’s bombastic tweets of fallacious inspiration, the majority of the American people still have no confidence to fully return to normal. And although Trump’s base is still holding steady, a lot of them are wearing masks at rallies, so there’s not much confidence there either.
The COVID d’etat may not have taken over the entire Trump administration, but they did take over the president himself. Easily too, because the fucker was asking for it. Although he’s still tweeting like a cellphone junkie, he definitely has lost his mojo. It’s only inevitable that he’ll get the Rona again and he’s kind of acting like how a dying man does in the last phase of death, and this round of campaign rallies is basically his bucket list. He probably won’t die, but in all likelihood his presidency will or even if he does get re-elected, he’ll get infected again because he’ll get filled with all those phenomenal virus resistant drugs that he’s loaded on now and probably taking everyday to keep him moving. No wonder he thinks COVID-19 is a blessing from God.
So might as well go out on a high note. And dance, dance, dance.
The song's lyrics appear to extol the virtues of the #YMCA. However, in gay culture from which the Village People stemmed, the song is understood as celebrating YMCA's reputation as a popular cruising & hookup spot, particularly for younger gay men.pic.twitter.com/oYsZMwwTe7
Since Governor Andrew Cuomo declared the coronavirus crushed back in June 5th (or 4th or 6th), the dominant pathogen in the five boroughs this year was the bullet. Which spread like wildfire over the summer bringing this years total to over 1,000 shooting incidents, hitting over 1,200 citizens (including children) leading to 107 deaths in 12 consecutive weeks of gun violence ending in the month of August, a rise of 89 and 97% respectfully and contributing to over 300 murders which has went up by 35% compared to last year. At the pace it’s continuing as of this writing ,the amount of shootings and victims will eclipse the total amounts of the past two years.
More people are buying bulletproof vests. Must have been when Council Speaker Corey “Cojoke” Johnson described this meteoric rise in gun violence as a health emergency.
The shootings and other serious crimes that have also risen has brought attention and suspicion among the general public and even officials that the NYPD are collectively engaging in a slowdown, because of the low amount of arrests and their late and even lack of responses to crime on the streets. Particularly with the shocking low amount of arrests for gun possession. de Blasio’s NYPD police commissioner’s cites again and again that it’s because of the cuts to the force from the last budget that was partially influenced by the hashtag abolish NYPD constituency. Although signs still legitimately point to the misguided and poorly legislated bail reform laws, recidivist offenders being released on the streets and the city and state’s mandate to release convicts because of the hazardous conditions in prisons being that are not safe from spreading coronavirus and even from Shea’s premature decision to abolish the anti-crime unit tasked to pursue illegal firearms.
But apparently, even with elevated crime levels and funds reallocated from New Yorks Finest, de Blasio’s NYPD still found a lot of expense, personnel and time to settle a few grudges with a few protesters from Black Lives Matter:
NYC is taking after Portland – a trans femme protestor was pulled into an unmarked van at the Abolition Park protest – this was at 2nd Ave and 25th Street pic.twitter.com/1PDhSYuK9h
In Kips Bay, an 18-year-old transgender woman riding a skateboard during a protest march on 2nd Ave was grabbed by five men who jumped out of a minivan. They turned out to be cops from the NYPD’s plain clothes warrant squad driving in an unmarked vehcile. They looked almost like the anti-crime unit Commissioner Shea disbanded in June.
Here's my full video of what happened on 25th & 2nd in NYC! Keep in mind this was a peaceful protest that was headed to Madison Sq Park for a meditation & an unmarked van snatched a protester & NYPD started attacking us! #BLMpic.twitter.com/USUGgIDDIH
Aiding this brazen and disturbing rendition on a public space were a squad of cops on bikes that were utilizing their cycles as weapons and shields to thwart witnesses and other protesters from viewing or stopping the arrest. Two of the bike cops ran over a person in their zeal to stop the protesters as the cops sped away with their collar in the van without even a police siren or a light indicating who they were as they cut off a truck when they ran the red light at 23rd St., which is a two way street.
Third angle on 8️⃣4️⃣2️⃣ in New York City NY, of plain-clothes NYPD officers black-bagging someone and shoving them into an unmarked van
No rocks. No bottles. NYPD's statement to you was a lie.
What makes her arrest stunning is the way it was executed and literally choreographed like a scene from a Jason Bourne movie as if they knew she was coming or was being practically hunted by the NYPD for weeks. The things that probably made this disturbing event possible is from facial recognition technology since she painted over street surveillance cameras that surely grabbed her face while she was vandalizing them and also placing some undercover officers or informants marching with the Abolition Park group and Black Lives Matter marchers, both of which are very likely especially the latter since a man involved with AP was pinched by an undercover for cutting cables under an NYPD van in Bay Ridge. Quite likely another cop posing as a demonstrator infiltrated this one. But they could have easily marked her down too from a Gothamist story featuring the woman at the Occupy City Hall protest 20 days earlier.
Nope, this is yet again another attempt to discourage and intimidate people from protesting against systemic injustices and endemic corruption in government and the enforcers that protect these institutions and the fortification of a police state by utilizing a local police force as central intelligence agency apparatus. If you think the optics of this woman’s arrest looks frightening, watch how the New NYPD literally vanishes a woman talking shit at a cop while drunk outside of a bar:
I don't know what happened here and why that woman went off,but she was devoured by that blue wall of cops and completely disappeared
As for Mayor Big Slow de Blasio, his deliberately belated response to this broad daylight rendition by his police department whose officers did not even read the woman her rights was full of spineless insouciance and abject denial of the command that was implemented for this dystopian display of arbitrary oppression.
NYC Mayor de Blasio says protester thrown in unmarked van by plainclothes officers was arrested for damaging police property: “This is not Portland … what you see on that video is NYPD officers. I think it was the wrong time and the wrong place to effectuate that arrest.” pic.twitter.com/LtKWQ5Tn26
As amazing as how NY’s Finest has turned itself into a military junta during this pandemic and societal crisis, it’s equally amazing how the Blaz is able to sit upright without a spine at his daily briefings. In a pathetic show of pseudo objectiveness, he cowardly blew off the severity of the “effecuated” arrest. Which is shocking coming from a person who is always prioritizes optics for every decision he makes, especially regarding the paramilitary and invasive spying tactics of the NYPD.
Which both came to it’s absolute nadir a few weeks later…
In Hell’s Kitchen, the NYPD deployed a battalion of cops to an apartment building to execute an arrest of a man wanted for assaulting a cop by yelling through a megaphone at her ear at a Black Lives Matter counter-protest against a Blue Lives Matter rally and march in Bayside a few days earlier and in another cop’s ear two months before. 30 cops stood guard outside his building and blocked the street from traffic as two NYPD choppers flew overhead. Cops accessed his building and stood in front of and repeatedly banged on his apartment door with a K9 dogs barking trying to intimidate him as other cops arrived from their “Strategic Unit” and tried to negotiate by lying that he had lawyers ready to represent him as the man saw two cops across the street in an apartment building window directly from him.
With all the knuckleheaded determination to persuade the man to surrender with amateur psy-ops, the Black Lives Matter activist refused to open his door and filmed his entire encounter and himself jamming to music on his social media account. The cops then left after six hours without him because they didn’t have a warrant for his arrest. The amount spent for this profligate fruitless pursuit is not known, but this was ordered despite the NYC Council cutting one billion dollars from the NYPD budget. What is also not known is who made the command to hunt this activist down, since Mayor Big Slow de Faustio claimed that Shea had nothing to do with it even though he’s the fucking commissioner.
Despite the Blaz and Shea’s contemptible denials and obfuscations, they spent a huge amount of tax dollars just to settle a grudge and indict a protest organizer. Which falls in line with the billions of dollars at the city’s expense for all the corruption and bigotry driven abuse staining the badge for the last few decades; the exact reason why the citizenry is protesting against every day in the fucking first place.
Also in Hell’s Kitchen, a church had to put up an obstruction in front of their entrance after after a group of homeless people were using the steps to shoot heroin and excrete bowel movements and urinate on them. The superintendent also had to clean up discarded liquor bottles left behind by the derelicts who were residing in a luxury hotel next door in accordance with the city’s policy to housing the homeless in them until the pandemic subsides.
Again in Hell’s Kitchen, a man got shot at twice in the chin and arm on the street and didn’t reveal who pulled the trigger.
Police carrying out arrests at Delancey and Ludlow. Riot cops can be heard pushing protesters out of the area. An officer named Vinella shoved our reporter while trying to join a group of National Lawyers Guild Legal Observers. pic.twitter.com/GrfuQGeYVE
And again in Hell’s Kitchen, a homeless man went raving mad when a restaurant wouldn’t let him use the bathroom and then took his frustrations on two women dining on a table outside and spat on one of their plates. The one time hip bar hopping areas has become a slum with streets of derelicts shooting up, imbibing booze, and fucking and sleeping on the sidewalks.
And again in Hell’s Kitchen, a man bashed a bunch of bottles of juice and soft drinks on his head inside of a deli over and over again while lying prone on the floor. The clerk expressed grief about the growing number of aggressive vagrants frequenting his store because a hotel across the street started housing homeless people that were transferred from shelters.
In the Upper West Side, Mayor de Blasio’s Department of Homeless Services shuttled hundreds of homeless people to shelter at three hotels on 77th St., 79th St. and 87th St. near without consulting residents of the town with help from the Federal Emergency Management Agency who contributed 3/4 of the funding to house them to prevent another outbreak of COVID-19. A bulk of the men were recently released from prisons and from a shelter full of men with drug struggles. Six of them turned out to be convicted pedophiles.
Neighborhood residents encountered on their commutes men masturbating, pissing and shitting in public and also shooting heroin, snorting blow, drinking booze and smoking K2 along with blatant drug dealing and derelicts prone on the ground from overdosing in full view on the sidewalks and on the benches on the medians on Broadway. Since the arrival of the city’s most destitute and unwanted and even though they are being housed in luxury rooms it’s led to a proliferation of more people sleeping on the streets and a rise in petty theft, aggressive solicitation and verbal harassment of random passerby including kids. Demands for the NYPD to patrol the nine blocks were these offenses were occurring did not get or even merit a response, even though Commissioner Shea lives exactly 6 blocks south from the area.
Being that drug use and selling went up, it looks like de Blasio wanted to do his own version of Hamsterdam from the fourth season of the Wire (the Blaz is a big fan of that show) by sending all the homeless people to an area where they might be accepted, where a bulk of residents have liberal values that sympathize with poor people’s struggles and addictions. But it instead turned out that these enlightened residents don’t take too kindly to vices and recidivism when it’s on their blocks, sharing concerns with neighbors who don’t share their views and are reviled and understandably fearful of the presence of drug abuse and crime. Just like in Hamsterdam, cops hardly responded to offenses committed by the homeless people. Like some kind of immunity because of the pandemic.
In the Wire’s Hamsterdam, the junkies were moved to a block where buildings were mostly vacant so the junkies can have a red light district to sell, cop and shoot up. But de Blasio’s UWS Hamsterdam, the homeless was shipped to a densely populated neighborhood that couldn’t handle the deluge of junkies that came flocking in and naturally didn’t expect the ramifications, because The City elected not to tell them who was coming in. Even about 900 of them. Goes to show that progressive minds can’t block or obscure even the saddest realities of the poverty and despair of people suffering from rampant drug use and fractured mental states and condensing these suffering people in a small area will only lead to disaster if not properly monitored or cared for.
Also the Upper West Side, a man was shot to death on the street from getting blasted in the chest at a playground following a fight with his killer.
Again in the Upper West Side, a man torched a police car that was parked on a block.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man killed himself when he fell five floors after slipping on a fire escape while smoking a cigarette. Homicide was not ruled out.
And again in the Upper West Sideat the 72nd St. Station, a man sneaked up behind a woman on the platform and stabbed her in the shoulder while holding a package of diapers.
And again in the Upper West Side, a 13-year-old boy had his cellphone robbed by another boy who grabbed it while passing by him riding a citibike. The victim is the son of a NYPD Deputy Commissioner in charge of the department’s counter-terrorism unit, a division that actually needs to be defunded.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man shot another man at his groin during a hold up.
And again in the Upper West Side, two men engaged in a shootout on the street and ran when the Guardian Angels tried to catch them.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man was shot in the stomach in the middle of the avenue.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man pushed an NYPD Chaplain down on the sidewalk and took his wallet, then left it behind and ran away.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man got shot to death in front of an apartment building entrance at the Amsterdam Houses.
Also in Lower East Side, homeless people set up a homestead shanty town village underneath the highway on the FDR drive. When de Blasio’s Sanitation Dept. came by to destroy it and throw everything they organized into the garbage, they returned again the next day and rebuilt their shantytown and fortified it a portion of a chain link fence. Like I said, these people should be administrating new housing infrastructure for the HPD.
Again in the Lower East Side, a double decker booze cruise boat was met with the NYC Sheriffs Dept and busted for violating pandemic protocols for holding a party without social distancing.
And again in the Lower East Side, a former N.Y. State Assembly Speaker threatened to punch a photo-jorunalist before he was about to serve 6 and a half years in jail for crimes he committed while in elected office.
In the East Village, a crew of homeless people built a loft apartment on the sidewalk underneath scaffolding where a luxury building is under development.
Mayor de Blasio, who recently proclaimed that he will not tolerate homeless encampments in his city, oh sorry your city, sent his Sanitation Dept. to raid the homestead and throw all the discarded furniture they collected into the garbage trucks. The next day, the same street denizens returned with new furniture and rebuilt their concrete floor homestead after waiting across the street until the coast was clear.
When de Blasio’s Sanitation Dept. wrecked their sidewalk village again, the crafty vagrants moved across the street to the shuttered Orpheum theater and easily reassembled their habitat. Instead of hassling and trying to disappear these people why doesn’t the Blaz contract them and build real affordable housing for the NYC Housing and Preservation Department?
Also in the East Village, a man on liquid courage tried to sit at a outdoor table in front of a trendy restaurant and got violent when a waiter told him they were closing and then he randomly attacked a man with a chair then got into a tussle with two women who were drinking there and slashed them with a metal blade. One of the women who fought him off was the daughter of famed stage and television actor Kelsey Grammar, so it’s no surprise where she got the instinct to deal with a knife handler.
Again in the East Village, a homeless man fighting with two other homeless men jumped into the East River to get away from them.
And again in the East Village, event promoters are using a cafe as a pandemic speakeasy to throw illicitly exclusive raves and parties for wealthy vectors and despite the appearances of luxury cars rolling up in front of the establishment and a state ban on indoor parties and events, there have been absolutely no raids by the NYPD or NYC Sheriff’s dept.
And again in the East Village, two men hoisted an ATM machine to their van and ripped it out from the store it was attached to, tearing the metal rolldown gate with it.
And again in the East Village, an argument between two men on the sidewalk escalated when one of them took a knife out and chased the other man and then stabbed him in the back demanding $1500 his victim owed him.
And again in the East Village, a man loitering in an apartment building lobby followed an 86-year-old woman into an elevator and yanked her $2,000 chain off her neck after he gentlemanly let her go on first.
And again in the East Village, a homeless couple got kicked off the city bus by the driver when they wouldn’t pay the fare. Then when the driver parked the bus and took a break, the couple forced their way inside and the woman beat the hell out of him.
In the West Village, a 78-year-old man was harassed by a man at a cheap pizzeria who then finished his slice and attacked the elderly man and pushed him over and knocked him unconscious.
Again in the West Village, a man died following a street fight with his friend on the sidewalk.
And again in the West Village, a transvestite chased a man into a parking garage and slashed him in the face and stabbed him in the back.
In Harlem, a man was shot in the leg on the street and wouldn’t rat on the gunman.
Also in Harlem, a NYPD safety officer and her husband were found with 8 illegal guns and ammo inside their apartment.
Again in Harlem, a man and a woman got hit with stray bullets as they were walking on the sidewalk.
And again in Harlem, a 17-year-old boy got shot in the foot on the street.
And again in Harlem, a man got shot twice in the ass on the sidewalk.
And again in Harlem, five girls beat up and shot an 14-year-old girl with a stun gun on the street as dozens of other teenagers gawked, filmed videos and took selfies during the pummeling as a cop walked by and did nothing.
In East Harlem, a man was shot in the arm outside of the Lehman Houses.
Also in East Harlem at the 116th Station, a man was stabbed on the platform at 1:15 a.m.. 15 minutes after the subway is supposed to shut down.
Again in East Harlem, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the back during an argument on the street.
And again in East Harlem, a man got shot in the back in front of an apartment building.
And again in East Harlem, a man got shot in the leg in a drive by shooting.
In Midtown between Times and Herald Squares on Broadway, junkies are shooting up and getting loaded on heroin while lounging on the urban garden furniture and passing out on the streets where overpriced eateries used to set up little take out stands for foodies to dine al fresco. One of the Blaz’s spokespeople called this “unacceptable” and then the junkies returned to the urban garden and loaded themselves with the works again. A few weeks later, junkies were discovered shooting up by an non-functioning phone booth around brunch time about a block away.
Also in Midtown, a man plopped a can of paint on de Blasio’s Black Lives Matter mural in front of Trump Tower and spread it all over the slogan despite the mayor’s decision to deploy more cops there to guard it. The seventh time it’s happened. The city left the stain there for a week.
After the city finally cleaned it up, a woman stopped by and splattered the BLM mural again with blue paint. And then she returned dressed as the Statue of Liberty rolling a hand truck down the avenue and did a vandalism hat trick and spilling a bucket of pink paint on the mural. Capping her triumph by yelling the word freedom like Mel Gibson in Braveheart as her co-horts screamed like lunatics and waved Trump re-election signs.
It really says something about the lengths people will show for President Trump and not for the Mayor of New York City, that the Blaz is more loathsome than the guy who blew off the pandemic at its early stages and has left the economy in purgatory. Maybe the next time the idiot Hizzoner wants to manifest of his virtue signal tweets he should go through the proper permit process like his constituency have to instead of brazenly circumventing it thinking no one will notice.

And again in Midtown, two groups of artists got into a brawl over space to sell their works in front of the New York Public Library that escalated when a man tried to bully two women from a corner by yanking a cellphone from one of them, leading them to shoot mace at his face. The vandal (and maybe an accomplice or two or other vandals) are responsible for damaging over 200 windows on the 7 line as well as the 2 and 3 lines, continuing a vandalism destruction spree for four months and now the MTA is all out of glass.
Yet they have 10,000 bucks to spare for a reward for citizens to catch the hammering vandal, proving that the MTA is too broke to deploy transit cops to monitor the station. It’s baffling that Governor Cuomo didn’t get the guy who did his COVID grave poster draw up some old-timey most wanted signs.
But even if King Andrew did that (and he could because he runs the MTA) it still wouldn’t deter the recidivist vandal. Despite the bounty the hammering vandal returned to the Hudson Yards Station and pulverized another 20 windows on the 7 train again. The NYPD added another $2,500 to the reward for the recidivist, which they probably dredged from a high brass cops office chair after all the money they spent hunting two protesters in the city.

Also in Great Kills, various men robbed thousands of dollars from a bank by taking advantage of a glitch by using their debit cards to withdraw money from the ATMs. It got out of hand when the robbers were having disputes which led to a man getting shot over an argument about the pilfered cash while they were trying to hack into the machines and a high speed chase with the cops as a bunch of them fled in getaway cars, leading into a patrol SUV crashing into a tree.
Again in Great Kills, a man crashed his car into the back of a house and set it on fire.
In Annandale, a car crash involving a police car and an SUV in an intersection led to 2 cops and 5 citizens getting injured.
In Meiers Corner, a 70-year-old woman berated her neighbor, who is an NYPD cop, with incessant racial slurs and profanities. The vulgarian has been hassling other residents on the block for nigh a year with her rants of intolerance that people had to alter their daily routines to avoid bumping into her and her dirty ass mouth.
Meanwhile, the subway might be cleaner and somewhat germ-free and covid-resistant but it’s still not immune to the ultraviolence, as felony assaults rose 30% on the trains in the last month and car theft went up a whopping 60% as people are relying on them more rather than risk catching coronavirus on the trains. And the city’s garbage is piling higher and faster on street corners all over the city after City Council defunded 106 million dollars from the Department of Sanitation.
President Trump is ordering the federal government to begin the process of defunding New York City and three other cities where officials allowed “lawless” protests and cut police budgets amid rising violent crime, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Trump on Wednesday signed a five-page memo ordering all federal agencies to send reports to the White House Office of Management and Budget that detail funds that can be redirected.
New York City, Washington, DC, Seattle and Portland are initial targets as Trump makes “law and order” a centerpiece of his reelection campaign after months of unrest and violence following the May killing of George Floyd by Minnesota police.
“My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” Trump says in the memo.
“To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities.”
Federal agencies must detail “all Federal funds provided to Seattle, Portland, New York City, Washington, D.C.” Also, within 14 days Attorney General Bill Barr must develop a list of “anarchist jurisdictions” that “permitted violence and the destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake reasonable measures” to restore order. The memo does not require Barr to include the four cities, possibly for legal reasons.
The memo instructs White House budget director Russ Vought to issue guidance in 30 days from Wednesday “to the heads of agencies on restricting eligibility of or otherwise disfavoring, to the maximum extent permitted by law, anarchist jurisdictions in the receipt of Federal grants.”
The amounts of money impacted by Trump’s order could be massive. New York City, for example, gets about $7 billion a year in federal aid.
President Trump, in his biggest executive order since he declared the whole country of America to be a disaster zone during the early and deathly stage of the coronavirus pandemic (labeled here as “Disasterland”), has now decided to levy sanctions through the O.M.B. on the American cities of Seattle, Portland, the nation’s capital Washington D.C. and the city he made once called home and made and then lost billions of dollars at, New York.
It’s not really that farfetched or hyperbolic to describe Trump’s memo as sanctions because that’s what they basically are. Considering how the 3 past presidents weaponized sanctions against sovereign nations that didn’t agree or abide to Clinton’s, W Bush’s and even the over-revered over-rated Barry Obama’s demands of them on weapons and their own leaders. Trump is doing the same thing on NYC and the other cities primarily because a vast majority of people are protesting and marching on the streets every day in solidarity calling for the abolishing of systemic police abuse.
With the exception of Portland, Seattle, D.C. and New York City has mostly moved on and protests have been mostly sporadic. Although they have been attended by saboteurs engaging in wanton destruction, the majority of the protests have been peaceful. But with New York, Trump has tied the city’s meteoric rise in shootings and other serious crimes to the social justice movements and by exhuming McCarthy he has unreasonably and baselessly labeled all protests as lawless and condemned the Big Apple as an anarchist jurisdiction.
The interesting thing about Donnie’s sanctions on American cities is that they sabotage the police he likes so much. It’s certainly going to make the cops in the cities he defunded harder to dominate them. Especially for the NYPD who he loves so much and are protecting all his real estate portfolio in Manhattan 24/7/365.
Speaking of New York’s Finest, Didn’t the PBA just endorse this guy? I don’t know about y’all but if this is going to be extremely counterproductive to the NYPD’s efforts to make the city safe from shootings and the protesters sloganeering with signs and vulgar cadences. Plus the city will just get worse than it is right now in all aspects regarding essential services like schools and mass transit.
In fact, the President’s sanctions on the five boroughs are already taking effect on those two services. Even though they have nothing to do with anarchy and street crime, the federal cuts already are underway starting with the Federal Bureau of Emergency Managements decision to cut COVID-19 aid funding to keep the subways and schools thoroughly disinfected plus stingy cut backs on PPE supplies on the most hardest hit city in the world by the novel virus as the temperatures start to chill with the first flu season of autumn weeks away. In a way it falls in line with Trump’s own flippant attitude about the novel virus, not just his persistent refusal to wear a face mask but also his inherent belief that COVID-19 is not as harmful or is the same as the common flu, which is in sync with the theories his new advisor has that downplays the severity of the contagion.
This will also effect government buildings like courts and prisons, the latter of which was so risky to inmates that the city and state had to release them back on the streets and into hotels to stop infections and flatten the COVID19 curve, which has also had a deleterious effects on the street crime rise. What’s interesting about the FEMA cuts to NYC is that they have absolutely nothing to do with the protests or the meteoric rise in shootings, but in a dastardly way sacrifice the health and safety of city workers and students as a form of payback for the protests decrying Trump’s law and order exhortations and policy decision deploying homeland security to oppress demonstrations and exhortations to defund police departments across the country. Even at the expense of the cops Trump claims to love and respect so much.
As for the NYPD, there has been virtual silence from their influential representatives and high brass about Trump’s executive vindictive memo against the city they patrol. The expansively vocal PBA leader Patrick Lynch, Police Commissioner Dermot Shea and even their version of Gen. MacArthur who battled and kettled the Black Lives Matter protests in early June, Deputy Commissioner Patrick Monahan have been silent about Trump’s defunding of the city they serve to protect, of which they have barely been able to do just that this summer amid accusations of a department slowdown and after daily voicing their frustrations following the city and state decisions to ban chokeholds, Trump’s decision has to be a betrayal to them and will make any effort to get guns off the streets as well as monitoring protests happening daily and spot the saboteurs milling in the marches looking to cause and instigate property destruction and vandalism more difficult.
If there is anything positive about Trump’s flipping off to his hometown and it’s not the irony of Trump defunding the NYPD, it’s that its exposed even more the weakness and fecklessness of the men elected to lead New York State and New York City, Governor Mario’s Son Cuomo and the worst Mayor in the history of humankind Bill de Blasio. Emperor Cuomo reacted to Trump’s memo with pathetic shit-talking bravado, his voice clearly shaking saying that he better not walk on the streets of New York without a bodyguard, even though he surely knows the President has secret service. The Blaz responded the only way he knows how, by saying he will sue, for one thing he truly knows in his role as mayor is to spend tax dollars which he has done mightily against his own constituency when he sent his city lawyers to protect crooked cops from divulging their records and against judges to have his developer favored zoning decisions repealed. Besides those things, Cuomo and the Blaz ain’t going to do shit to stop this defunding because they actually owe Trump for their current existence. With the way Cuomo has been able to evade scrutiny from the feds over his lethal decision to put COVID-19 patients in nursing homes and then transfer them along with the residents to hospitals to protect their owners and investors who donated to the Luv Guv and with Trump firing former SDNY DA Preet Bharara who was investigating de Blasio’s pay to play fundraising graft in City Hall.
Even though it’s a big factor, Trump’s defunding memo isn’t just based on malice, revenge and his latent desire for a police state and his bogus justification about anarchy jurisdictions, but also on the weak and non-existent leadership of NYC and the other cities he targeted (that Ted Wheeler guy in Portland? now that’s a fucking big pussy). So a lot of blame should be dispensed all around. Which is how Donnie continues to thrive despite his criminal complacency and unpreparedness to protect his country from a pandemic that wound up killing 180,000 citizens and led to 20% of working people unemployed.
Trump is still a fucking dick for doing this though, NYC is getting broker and broker and that 7 billion (which is surprisingly little considering all the valuable real estate here) is essential for it’s solvency and overall security and he knows how vulnerable the city is. Trump’s sanctions against NYC will make the current environment under this “new normal” even worse and cause more businesses to go under than any rioting and street crime will do. If anything, these sanctions are just an extension of his slumlord tactics denying services to undesirable affordable renting tenants that he gleefully executed as a young real estate scion in the 80’s
Right now, Trump is running full speed to keep his current job and his base enjoys his condemnations against and endorsements of violence against the Black Lives Matter movement and their supporters. And since he no longer lives in the city where he made his billions and built his brand off his daddy’s second surname, it’s not a surprise he would rather let it rot in the New Bad Days just like in the old bad days when Ford wouldn’t bail NYC out.
Following the daily relentless George Floyd protests against systemic police brutality and the exposure of the NYPD equally relentless aggression against the people participating in them even when violent crimes were rising on the streets of the five boroughs particularly shootings in 10 precincts, Commissioner Shea and Mayor de Blasio decided to abolish the plain clothes anti-crime units that were tasked with getting guns off the street.
Since that decision, it has correlated with a 205% rise in shootings which included 112 people getting shot in 9 days at the end of June, concluding a month where shootings went up an astonishing 130% compared to 2019 for this month. 40 people were shot at on the 4th of July alone. Murders are up 23% heading into August.
Commissioner Shea attributes the bloody violence happening daily not to his (and surely de Blasio’s) decision to suspend the anti-crime unit, which was recently deployed to selectively enforce pandemic protocols towards Black and Latinx people in lower median income neighborhoods but on the city and state bail reform laws enacted at the start of 2020. Both of them along with Chief Monahan also cite that the court system has not been fully available because of the coronavirus, even though hearings have been going since the pandemic first hit NYC in March.
Even though all of the Mayor’s, Shea’s and Monahan’s theories are debunked by the fact that the majority of the shooters have not been caught and are still running around on the streets and shacking somewhere else because the NYPD are making remarkably less arrests than they have last summer in 2019. About over 60% less, which correlates with the horrendous rise of gun violence and killings.
Take for example, gun arrests: During the same 28 day period from June 14 through July 12 of last year the NYPD made 270 gun arrests. This year, they’ve arrested 89 people during the same time period. A 67 percent decrease: pic.twitter.com/aFDAGTMyFW
Another factual reason why is that illegal guns are easier to get now as federal agencies tasked to stop gun trafficking are overwhelmed and understaffed because of the pandemic. A sociological reason might be that the worst elements of society collectively feels that the police can be overcome because of the reform laws enacted knowing that cops will be hesitant to apply submission holds during a difficult arrest with a perp for fear of being arraigned for a chokehold and the general hatred and mockery being dished from the protesters. And a logistical reason could be that lots of cops were redeployed from precincts to monitor all these impromptu protests in the last 50 days since the curfew protests, including the recent ones by Blue Lives Matter, which ironically has led to refunding the NYPD with more overtime pay.
But after a month of infighting and blaming, the Blaz and Shea have come up with a 6-point solution to tamp down on the daily fusillades and homicides racking up and they didn’t need to come up with an anagram to initiate it. Declaring to End Gun Violence Now and although no wants to get shot, the goal in it’s title is still unrealistic considering how relentless the gun violence on the streets are and a majority of them are not caught, it’s ambition is as comparable the Blaz’s Vision Zero street safety initiative for pedestrian and vehicles which has not done much for neither and people are still dying.
But at least de Blasio’s NYPD has a plan for now, even if the goals are what they should be doing in the first place. After they make some progress with this, maybe they’ll also come up with plan to end knife, machete, fist, kick, non-consensual sexual and blunt object violence too.
It’s basic, but it’s worth a shot. No pun intended.
In Harlem, a 7-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet shot from the gun fired by a 16-year-old boy while she was eating on the stoop as her mother was taking out groceries from her car when someone took out a gun and fired it during street fight among a group of men. A man also got shot in the leg during the melee. The mother is now contemplating ordering her groceries from home. I’m sure Bezos and all the other shop from home tech predators are onto to this unfortunate demographic.
Also in Harlem, during a fight over a drug deal, a man knocked down a homeless man causing him to fall on his head and to lose consciousness and dying from his injury later in a hospital.
Again in Harlem, a wheelchair bound man took out a gun and fired four shots at a group of men following an argument he had with them.
And again in Harlem, cops in NYPD SUV’s responding to the aforementioned shooting above stopped in their tracks on the avenue when a block party was still going on and a pickup up truck was obstructing the road ahead. When the cops turned on their sirens to get the crowd to disperse, a majority of people threw glass booze bottles at their vehicles, leading the cops to retreat and leave the vicinity in what can be described as blowback from the weeks of protests calling for their abolishing and also the systematic brutality the NYPD executed against those demonstrators.
And again in Harlem at the 125th St. Station, a man got gruesomely slaughtered to death when he got hit by an arriving train after falling off the platform when he was trying to break up a fight between two women and then a man intervened and shoved him towards the tracks.
And again in Harlem, a man yelled at another man inside an apartment building that he was going to kill him, then he chased him out on the street and shot him to death.
And again in Harlem, three men and a woman were shot on the street and four men were shot at a party three blocks away.
And again in Harlem, a man was shot in the back steps away from Morningside Park and died without naming his killer to the cops.
And again in Harlem, a man was shot to death after arguing with his killer by Central Park.
And again in Harlem, stray bullets pierced through the walls of a man’s apartment from his 6-year-old girl’s bedroom.
And again in Harlem, a man was shot in the torso on the street in broad daylight.
And again in Harlem, a man was shot in the ankle in broad daylight.
And again in Harlem, a woman abducted her 7-month-old baby boy despite losing custody of her other children for being a neglectful parent.
And again in Harlem, a man was shot on the street and tried to flee but collapsed and then his friend crashed his car trying to drive him to the hospital. Then he died.
In East Harlem, a man and a woman got shot at multiple times by the FDR drive.
Also in East Harlem, a 15-year-old boy got shot in the chest and refused to snitch on his shooter.
Again in East Harlem, a man got shot to death while he was riding a Citibike going home and got caught in the crossfire of a shootout.
And again in East Harlem, a 17-year-old boy got shot to death while hanging out with his friends on the grounds of the Washington Houses.
In NoMad, a man and a woman got shot at on the sidewalk in a drive-by shooting after leaving a rooftop bar where they had a fight with other people. The woman died after she took the bullet to the chest for her boyfriend as she pushed him out of the way as he got hit in the leg. This murder happened down the block from Jeff Bezos’s new three story lair on 26th Street.
In Downtown Manhattan, a militia of cops charged protesters that occupied the park grounds by City Hall for a week hours before Mayor de Blasio showed up for the budget hearings with City Council. Cops removed barricades the protesters took to guard their occupation and then arrested three people after the front of the surrogate courthouse building got tagged with political and vitriolic graffiti overnight.
The occupation grew to over 400 people and was able to match the numbers of the NYPD as they continued to curse them out and resist their presence enough to make the cops back up and stand at ease across the street from the park.
Occupiers decided to name it CHAZ (City Hall autonomous zone) after another protest group’s disastrous attempt to form a permanent protest zone in Seattle. The Naked Cowboy stopped by to have discourse with him but got smacked in the back of his head. In a bizarre development, protesters have also attacked journalists trying to report from the occupation, shockingly taking the same approach the NYPD did with journalists trying to cover the Black Lives Matter earlier in the month during the city wide 8 p.m. curfew.
Although the park already had poor people sleeping in the park, more homeless people arrived to the “abolition zone” which unfortunately led to outbursts and fights inside the occupation.
A couple of men protesting got aggro while following a NYPD inspector on the street and used their freedom of speech to make verbal threats to injure him and they wound up getting arrested. Then the phalanx of cops stood and watch a protester add more graffiti to the surrogate courthouse.
Another protester got irrationally irritated by a NY Post reporter who stopped by there and swung a 2×4 piece of wood at him while trying to knock the phone out of his hand and then ran away. Another protester threw his fist at that reporter without provocation. Police in the area treated the journalist’s charges against them with insouciance and did nothing.
Although the park already had poor people sleeping in the park, more homeless people arrived to the “abolition zone” which unfortunately led to outbursts and fights inside the occupation. Which made the sight of a man unloading loads of baseball bats from his car by the AZ and handing them to various individuals very off-putting.
The police suddenly got active when Occupy City Hall protesters ran onto the Brooklyn Bridge as a unity march against gun violence organized by community faith activists and military veterans was crossing it along with members of the NYPD’s SBA union. When some of the protesters attempted to block the path on the bridge road, the cops deployed there along with Chief Terence Monahan managed to arrest three of them. Other protesters watching from the pedestrian path intervened in the arrest as one of them took a cane and whacked Monahan on the finger and two other high brass officers on their heads and then ran away on the road as her fellow protesters got into a violent clash with bike and motor scooter cops that rolled up on the pedestrian/bike path.
The City Hall Abolition Zone came to an anti-climatic yet still unsettling end when de Blasio’s NYPD arrived in riot gear with brand new shields and marched their way through the occupation and kicked everyone out with one guy getting cuffed for not giving up the fort as he threw a brick at the cops.
Which saved President Trump the trouble of sending federal sanction secret police to NYC to stop more graffiti being written on federal buildings.
Just walk away…
After the park was cleared out and the buildings and sidewalks powerwashed, it was discovered that the occupiers were going to the bathroom through a sidewalk grating above a catch basin in the City Hall/Brooklyn Bridge Station. Gross but fitting considering the way de Blasio turned his workplace into a pay-to-play cesspool for 6.7 years.
Also in Downtown Manhattan at the Wall St. Station, a man got slashed in the neck on the 4 train.
Again in Downtown Manhattan at the Chambers St. Station, a man pried open a plywood wall and found then stole a hand truck with tools and copper wire worth over $20,000. Then got on the J train and split with his plunder.
In Hell’s Kitchen, a man stole a Mazarati from the dealer’s showroom building and stopped and ditched the vehicle at the red light and got caught by cops who were conveniently right there to grab them. The dealership had one of their luxury cars stolen by a woman from the showroom the week before.
Also in Hell’s Kitchen, a man got fired from his real estate firm when he got frustrated with bottle refuse coming from residents of a homeless shelter hotel so he rolled a bunch of them back at the hotel. The man also caught a junkie from the shelter shooting up smack at a phone booth.
In the Upper West Side at the 86th St. Station, a man assaulted an off-duty cop and robbed her purse on the 1 train and ran out but got chased down by a Samaritan who caught him at the end of the platform. Following his act of heroism, the Samaritan continued his commute but succumbed to a heart attack and died at the 72nd St. Station.
Also in the Upper West Side, a man got shot to death on a street corner allegedly over an argument during a dice game.
Again in the Upper West Side, a man got killed and three people got injured in a car wreck when the driver lost control on the parkway and flipped the car upside down and landed on the median while speeding.
And again in the Upper West Side, a man was shot in the head by a street corner and died a week later from his wound.
In the Upper East Side, a 79-year-old woman was found dead bound and gagged with plastic bags around her head in her apartment in a lux building.
In Hamilton Heights, a man got killed while sitting in the back seat of a Mercedes as the driver ran a red light and collided into another car. Then the driver ran away.
In Morningside Heights, a man slashed a 2-year-old boy in the face in his stroller being pushed by his nanny while walking on the sidewalk.
Also in Morningside Heights, a man was shot in the back on the street and later died from his wound.
In Inwood, five people were shot at on the street, leaving three men in critical condition.
Also in Inwood, people setting off fireworks on the street caused an apartment to go on fire when some of their mortar rockets hit the building, leaving a mother and her daughter homeless.
In Central Park, a drunk man barged into a soccer game being played at 1 a.m. and stole the ball and kicked it around. When the pissed off crowd told him to get lost, the man took out a gun and shot one of the players in the leg. Who the fuck plays soccer after midnight? That’s as weird as flying a kite at night.
In Kips Bay, a man ambushed a woman on the sidewalk, put her in a chokehold and ran away with her purse.
In Chelsea, a man grabbed a purse containing an asthma pump and hearing aids off a 79-year-old woman and dragged her on the sidewalk as she wouldn’t let go. The bastard pried it off her and ran down the street.
Also in Chelsea, a man lurking by a supermarket attacked the manager with a hammer and hit him on the head as he was about to open the store, then the thug ran away. The perp was there regularly and was caught shoplifting and sexually harassing the workers there. The victim remarked that the conditions he’s seen the area in reminded him of the Bad Old Days.
In Midtown, Mayor de Blasio with his fucking wife and Al Sharpton and his National Action Network gathered together to paint a Black Lives Matter mural on the street in front of Trump Tower to spite the President of the United States, manifesting a de Blasio pandering virtue signalling tweet in real life as onlookers were booing his insincere act of tokenism to the social justice movement.
A few days later it was vandalized with red house paint as a man strolled by and took a can out of bag and spilled it on the slogan and ran off. After it was immediately cleaned up because the Blaz prioritizes civic duties when it comes to his vanity (and also his donors) it was splattered again the next day with blue paint by a transgender woman accompanied by three other LGBT women.
Then a Black woman showed up to the mural and channeling Jackson Pollack stylistically and mentally, spilled and smeared black paint all over the word Black while prosyletizing to passerby and gawkers with cellphones. Two cops meekly tried to restrain her but the power of Jesus compelled her to shove one of the cops away with such force that he hit his head on the asphalt. Hours after that woman got arrested, a White man wearing a MAGA hat ran over to the mural and splattered it with paint again as another man was waving a Blue Lives Matter flag in support. So with the latter vandalism on his message to Trump, the Blaz got the reaction from the demographic he was expecting.
When released on her own recognizance, while on her own recognizance she went into Bed-Stuy and Harlem and defaced those murals too with black paint with a couple of her allies, almost causing a near riot and getting into fights with residents witnessing their self-righteous yet constitutional vandalism.
Also in Midtown, a man drove and crashed an SUV he stole into a high end brand jewelry store.
Again in Midtown, protesters marching on the street surrounded an SUV and refused to let the driver through. Then they threatened to flatten his tires and used bikes as an obstruction and the man decided to drive on through, taking a bunch of bikes down the road that were placed under his vehicle. Following his arrest, the driver got off without charges.
And again in Midtown on the East River, two blockheads tried to beat the sweltering heat by hopping on an inflatable swan and chillaxing on the water only to wind up adrift and rescued by the FDNY. You know normal is fucked when life is imitating Sunny in Philadelphia.
And again in Midtown, a woman with a hammer furiously banged on a lamp post and then got chased by cops for blocks while she was swinging it at bystanders.
And again in Midtown at the 51st/Lexington Ave. Station, a homeless man got beat down by a cop and physically thrown off the 6 train along with his belongings when he refused to get off a near empty car because he had his bags on the seats. After kicking his bags like trash on the platform, other cops arrived and placed him on the floor and hogtied him and then the man was put on a gurney. The cop who arbitrarily targeted and brutalized him got off without charges.
In Washington Heights, a man was shot in the leg on the sidewalk.
Also in Washington Heights, a woman and her stepfather were ganged up on and beaten down inside a deli by a gang of men and women following an dispute instigated by one of the attackers.
In Inwood, two men involved in a drag race with another vehicle jump the gun and peel out and then an unmarked police car follows in pursuit as they speed on avenues and boulevards and under the elevated tracks and blowing red lights and going the wrong way on one way streets which resembles scene for scene in the Oscar-winning movie The French Connection.
Also in Inwood, a cop got hit and knocked to the pavement by a drunk driver in an SUV trying to flee from a supermarket parking lot where a party was going on that he and other cops were trying to break up and get people to disperse.
In Murray Hill, a parking garage building’s facade collapsed injuring a man sitting in a parked car from falling debris.
Also in Murray Hill, the side of an abandoned apartment building collapsed onto a construction site next door.
Again in Murray Hill, a man died and three of his fellow workers got injured when a scaffold collapsed under them as they were doing a job on a building facade.
In Greenwich Village, a naked man occupied the fountain at Washington Square Park for over a month and turned it into a cool single guy studio apartment complete with a patio table, a lounge chair and a rug to tie the whole area together.
Following this profile by the NY Post with photos by William Farrington; NYC Parks Police, the NYPD and even another homeless man tried to moved his stuff off the fountain and were unsuccessful. The naked man, who claimed to be the son of God, refused the authorities suggestions/light demands and offers to go to one of the city’s hazardous homeless shelters so they let him be. Then the naked man laid down and placed his head on a stuffed unicorn and took a nap.
A day after he took a nature shower in his birthday suit as a Black Lives Matter rally was happening in the park, the naked delusional deity got into a handicapped wrestling match with two other men in the middle of the fountain which garnered the attention of 12 cops on patrol and gave them the justification to finally arrest him and send him to the hospital. And he still came back and tried to reoccupy the fountain again while in the buff.
Again in Greenwich Village at Washington Square Park, a gay pride march and live stream rally attended by thousands of revelers got disrupted by the NYPD when they caught a man writing grafitti on a patrol car and people tried to interfere with the arrest, leading to two more people getting arrested and cops fending off the encroaching crowd with pepper spray and billy clubs. A cop got knocked off his motorcycle during the clash of cops and citizens on the street. This riot coincided with the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
Also in Greenwich Village, four men torched an NYPD patrol van just before the crack of dawn.
In Battery Park City, a dead man was found floating in the Hudson.
In the Lower East Side, a homeless man taking shelter under a scaffolding has assembled a makeshift sidewalk condo filled with discarded furniture, piles of trash bags and an art collection as construction workers continue to develop the lux hotel while the derelict smokes K-2 and shits where he pleases.
Also in the Lower East Side, a man aggressively approach a woman in front of a bodega and slashed a man in the hand who tried to defend her.
Again in the Lower East Side, a shitty bar biting the name of a Cure classic song promoted and threw a COVID block party with their leisure vagrant vectors getting loaded on the street without masks on two nights in a row.
And again in the Lower East Side, a man shot another man 4 times on the street and rode away on a bike.
And again in the Lower East Side, two men stole an ATM machine by a Spanish restaurant by prying it with a chain attached to their van and drove way with it dragging on the road in a 2 minute heist.
And again in the Lower East Side, a man was tasered then stabbed to death by his assistant inside his luxury condo over a debt the killer owed him. The killer left and returned to the building with a power saw and chopped the victims limbs and head off then left the remains and his tool in the condo and booked down the staircase when his victim’s cousin showed up to check on him.
And again in the Lower East Side, a man was shot multiple times in the leg and another man got shot in the ass at the LaGuardia Houses and both of them refused to snitch on the gunman.
And again in the Lower East Side, a man punched a bus driver in the face when he was asked to put a face mask on before boarding.
In the East Village, a sinkhole manifested on the road and half-way swallowed an SUV.
Also in the East Village, a stray bullet pierced through an apartment window at the Jacob Riis houses, hitting the door of a 13-year-old boy’s bedroom while he was sleeping.
Again in the East Village, three men on bicycles rode up to a man hanging out with his friends and shot him multiple times, hitting him once in the chest.
In the West Village, the Upper East Side and Hell’s Kitchen, people are loitering and obstructing sidewalks and the streets in front of bars while drinking from open containers while not wearing masks or social distancing. They steal glassware also.
In Bed-Stuy, as a group of people were having a BBQ cookout party by a playground, three men rolled up and jumped out of an SUV and chased three men running by, hitting and wounding three men and killing a one-year-old boy with a shot to his stomach from a stray bullet as he sat in a miniature chair. The child’s devastated grandmother lambasted the city’s stunning reactive responses to the rise in gun violence in the past month. Commissioner Shea made a personal visit to her and her family to give condolences and assurances and Mayor de Blasio stopped by their home later on right before he scheduled a speaking availability on the street following a march organized by community leaders. Whey couldn’t the Mayor and the Commish show up together?
Also in Bed-Stuy at the Norstrand Ave. Station, a woman got called a cunt by an MTA worker when she told him to put a face mask on.
Again in Bed-Stuy, a man and a woman both got shot at and hit in their legs on the street.
And again in Bed-Stuy, a man stiffed an app-food delivery guy with a counterfeit bill, then beat him up when he demanded to be paid.
And again in Bed-Stuy, a man got shot in the arm during a street fight.
And again in Bed-Stuy, a 66-year-old homeless woman walking to a hotel got hit by a stray bullet that came from an argument between two men that escalated when one of them took out a gun across the street.

In Kingsbridge Heights, a man stabbed his ex-girlfriend in the back multiple times while she was pushing their child in a baby stroller, causing her to fall to the pavement with the toddler.
Also in Parkchester, a man riding a motor scooter took 4 shots at a man on the sidewalk and caught him on the arm.
Again in Parkchester, a man shot at another man in the middle of the street following an argument with him.
In Norwood, a man dragged a woman out of an apartment building and onto the street, beat the shit out of her and tried to rape her.
Also in Norwood, a man was shot to death on the street.
Again in Norwood, a man was shot to death on the street following a dispute with 3 other men.
In Hunts Point, a man crashed his luxury car into a minivan and killed it’s driver, then he and another van ditched the vehicle and ran into another car that came by and got away.
In Mott Haven, four men got pissed at a man who blowing up fireworks too close and directly at them inside a city park, which bloodily escalated when the man stabbed all of them with a knife. One of the man he stabbed managed to procure the knife and stabbed him back, leading to all of them winding up in the hospital.
Also in Mott Haven, an NYPD SUV got shot at from a stray bullet while two cops were sitting inside. Or maybe an intentional bullet.
Again in Mott Haven at the 149th St./Grand Concourse Station, a man beat down a woman with a cane as she was standing on the platform.
And again in Mott Haven, four men hassled a man coming out of a bodega demanding to use his cellphone and beat the crap out him and stole it when he refused.
And again in Mott Haven, a man got punched in the face and fell on his head on the sidewalk after an argument with his attacker.
And again in Mott Haven, two men got in a 72-year-old woman’s face on the sidewalk and robbed her purse.
In Melrose, three men beat the shit out of one man and stabbed him four times to settle an argument they had with each other.
Also in Melrose, a man shot at five men sitting on a stoop an hour after dawn while he covered his face with his t-shirt and still managed to hit two of them.
Again in Melrose, a woman and two men beat down and poisoned a 65-year-old man to death in his apartment during a robbery, then threw him out of a window wrapped in plastic where he landed on the roof of a Mickey D’s.
In Belmont, a man was shot at 5 times and hit in both of his legs while walking on the sidewalk and stalked by two men.

In Fordham, an online charity fund to raise money for small businesses that were robbed and vandalized by the looting and destruction caused by saboteurs of the George Floyd Protests totaling $50,000 has not made it to them yet.
In New Lots, an EMT rolled a stop sign in her ambulance and ran over a 65-year-old man and killed him
In Mount Hope, a cop got attacked by a man while writing up a ticket for parking his car in front of a fire hydrant. As the cop and his partner cuffed him, the perp resisted being put in the car and continued to wrestle with the two cops. As the tussling continued, one of the cops bodycams fell off and a man standing by them kicked it away, which provoked the cop to attack and try to arrest him. The cop had difficulty as that perp successfully wrestled him and kept him in a headlock and then ran away. All the while some obnoxious jagoff was filming it and coaching the pricks to fight the cops.
The man who assaulted the cop turned himself in and was immediately let go by a judge for the case to be fully investigated, so the skell can go back and loiter on the streets and fuck with somebody else. This development made de Blasio very unhappy.
In Stapleton, a man was shot to death by the Stapleton Houses.
Also in Stapleton, a man was shot to death on the street from a bullet to the head.
Again in Stapleton, a man tried to shoot a man to death while inside his car.
In St. George, a man got shot up multiple times on the street.
In Bloomfield, ten people got busted by the cops for smuggling fireworks and three cars, one of which was hauling 3 alligator carcasses. Sounds like they had a plan to manufacture luggage and other accessories.
In West Brighton, a man shot another man in his legs to end an argument.
I remember back in February whenCOVID-19 was getting constant coverage and was getting pretty fucking serious. Trump just got his fat ass saved by the Senate only a few weeks earlier and corporate news had a brand new void to fill their repetitive 24 hour culture of fear format. Then a novel virus fell on their laps and the news cycle went with it. (And for once it’s a good thing they did and didn’t downplay the severity of the spread)
It only took weeks when a few more cases spread out thru the nation after landing in Washington weeks earlier; anxiety was setting in on the general public which shortly progressed into widespread panic as people were grabbing anything they can get to ward off the contagion as liquid soap and detergent and hand sanitizer were ravenously devoured off the supermarket and chain pharmacy shelves (oh and toilet paper too). Then another PPE product was suddenly in hyper high demand; protective face masks. What was once a reliable and cheap staple for doctors, nurses and construction workers were getting cleared off the shelves during the panic buy frenzy.
Around that time, Trump came up with the travel ban against China, then declared the virus defeated and went back to dissing his foes in Twitterworld and golfing then he left whatever news and updated info about coronavirus being broadcasted and published by mass media to be handled by Dr. Anthony Fauci, epidemiologist and career government worker.
When 15 cases suddenly appeared in disparate cities across the nation which Trump remarked would go immediately back down to zero in utter incomprehension of how a disease spread, Dr. Fauci was thrust into the spotlight to tamper the President’s wacky summations which at the time provided sanity and relief to the press and the public.
When the press queried Dr. Fauci about preventive measures to defend against contagion he advised the American citizenry to thoroughly wash their hands for 120 seconds, stay six feet apart at all times in public places and not to touch their faces with their hands (and that includes face palm reactions). Then he advised the nation that protective face masks were not necessary for daily use and it was best and in the long run safer if those masks were instantly available and sufficiently supplied to hospitals so doctors and nurses that need them and use them the most (which he repeated to a national televised audience on 60 Minutes as COVID-19 was ravishing Northern Italy killing hundreds of people a day.)
At the time this was a rational response from the good doctor, these masks needed to go to essential workers in the front line to battle the insidious contagion.
After this, Dr. Fuaci has been the go to good guy face wrestler to President Trump’s bad guy heel wrestler with corporate news, celebrity entertainers and the majority of citizens. The reliable arbiter of all information about COVID-19, especially during the nadir of President Trump’s heinous interpretations of the disease when he looked to his task force and suggested injecting bleach and UV rays to stem the spread of the pathogens inside the body.
In this current health crisis with no determined end in sight, Dr. Fauci was and is still revered like a rock or a movie star in a world where those icons don’t currently exist. Which is why it’s quite a dismaying and revolting shock with what he flippantly said a few weeks ago on some news blog I never heard of called The Street:
“Well, the reason for that is that we were concerned the public health community, and many people were saying this, were concerned that it was at a time when personal protective equipment, including the N-95 masks and the surgical masks, were in very short supply,” Fauci said. “And we wanted to make sure that the people, namely the health care workers, who were brave enough to put themselves in a harm way, to take care of people who you know were infected with the coronavirus and the danger of them getting infected.”
Masks are not 100% protective. However, they certainly are better than not wearing a mask. Both to prevent you, if you happen to be a person who may feel well, but has an asymptomatic infection that you don’t even know about, to prevent you from infecting someone else,” said Fauci. “But also, it can protect you a certain degree, not a hundred percent, in protecting you from getting infected from someone who, either is breathing, or coughing, or sneezing, or singing or whatever it is in which the droplets or the aerosols go out. So masks work.”
So right now, unequivocally, the recommendation is, when you’re out there particularly if you’re in the situation where there is active infection, keep the distance phsyically and wear a mask. So although there appears to some contradiction of why weren’t you saying this then and you’re saying this now, the circumstances have changed, that’s the reason why.
My fucking eyes and ears must be deceiving me, but no that’s definitely the good doctor.
Say it ain’t so Tony.
But he did say it. He said it loud and as disingenuous just like all the misinformation that was given to Americans from the start of the coronavirus outbreak took the country by storm and under siege to this day. Of which he was a seminal part of.
In a way, Dr. Fauci is dropping this as if it’s OK to reveal the truth now because of the three month window, which is kind of like the amount of time that has to elapse when you make a joke about a dead celebrity or a tragedy with high casualties. Except this outstanding revelation would have saved hundreds of thousands of lives if Dr Fauci legitimized the usefulness of the masks instead of keeping it like a secret for 4 months.
It might be vitriolic to call Dr. Fauci a lying prick and hyperbolic and inappropriate as well given that he’s still the all star cleanup hitter and is still the only trustworthy official on Mike Pence’s coronavirus response team that Trump authorized back on leap day 2020 but his response in that video is terribly and blatantly contradictory, confusing and condescending. Especially the last paragraph there where he quipped about the “appearance” of “some contradiction” as if the 320 million citizens who are asking his hypothetical question are the ones contradicting themselves then caps with a nyah nyah response since the circumstance is quite convenient for him now because of his status as the nation’s epideomologist. (It’s also quite convenient for all elected officials running states and cities who get to determine whose essential enough to run a business or not and where gatherings are allowed or forbidden.)
The guy is trying to cop out of the fib he made with the subtlety and sleaze of a snake oil salesman or a public relations tool. But technically that’s actually part of Dr. Fauci’s job in the administration besides mopping up after Trump’s erroneous COVID takes and his and Pence’s arrogant defiance to avoid wearing the masks themselves. Because even though Anthony Fauci is a doctor first beloved and trusted by the people and starstruck journos from corporate news networks and newspapers, he’s still a bureaucrat and serves at the pleasure of the President who happens to be a obstinate self-serving motherfucker and also a careerist because dishonesty is essential to his job as one.
Consider Fauci’s other rather odd circumstantial moments before and after he recommended with conviction that it was unnecessary to wear masks . During an interview with Greg Kelly in January, Fauci told him and the United States that the novel virus was nothing to be alarmed about at that time and then on March 26th, Fauci suggested wearing the mask not because Trump declared a national emergency but to wear it symbolically as a sign of respect to others while still claiming of how ineffective they are against infection. This notably stands out because President Trump has never been seen wearing a mask since the outbreak exploded and still refuses to this day. But a sign of Fauci’s circumstantial convenience narrative that he used on The Street was revealed in a CNN interview with Jake Tapper when he made a Faucian Slip about the prospective data of the amount of cases to deaths from COVID-19 as he predicted the amount of deaths under his tongue after he used that same number to predict the amount of cases.
Dr. Anthony Fauci says there could potentially be between 100,000 to 200,000 deaths related to the coronavirus and millions of cases. “I just don’t think that we really need to make a projection when it’s such a moving target, that you could so easily be wrong,” he adds. #CNNSOTUpic.twitter.com/F2MOHY3xl4
Going by these appearances, the good doctor Fauci has been eloquent yet still dishonest and has exhibited quite a proclivity for double talking and double backing on his statements and advisories.
It was around this time that (most) state governors decided to ratify mask mandatory wearing and social distancing guidelines, but a majority of Americans still did not adhere to them. Despite the lionization of Dr. Fauci by corporate news and social media, he still was not deemed credible by masses of people. Particularly in the young adult demographic and Trump’s base.
And despite Fauci’s ill-advisory recommendation for people to be selfless and not buy masks; hospitals were still under supplied of face masks as well as other PPE’s like smocks and gloves and COVID-19 naturally spread like wild fire, infecting the entire country. As of today over 120,000 people have died (and still dying but in smaller daily increments) and infections are still going up as more get duly tested.
Unfortunately, it didn’t stop the mass panic buying of them by the general public and also from greedy wholesalers looking to gouge prices because of the scarcity of the product which went along with hand sanitizer and rubber gloves, bringing the prices of these cheap items to upscale retail price levels, leading to bare shelves in stores everywhere. Making it unavailable and unattainable for the people suddenly alarmed by the novel virus encroaching into their zip codes. The PPE shortages got so extreme that in New York City, NYPD Chief Patrick Monahan ordered cops to pick up steal hundreds of thousands of face masks from a FEMA warehouse that were meant to go to hospitals that were ran out of them, but got pinched by Dr. Oxiris Barbot of the City Health Department who caught the brazen heist and fed the chief his lunch by cursing his ass out and getting the masks to doctors and nurses that were already getting swamped with COVID positive cases. What makes this police high brass malfeasance even worse is that a vast majority of cops are constantly photographed without masks on.
But the most warped thing about Fauci’s circumstantial advisories is that even the emperor of China, the nation were the virus originated, advised his citizens (and the world) to wear the masks in January. Which makes it bizarre (and suspicious) that Fauci would blow even that off considering everyone is blaming that nation for birthing coronavirus. It also didn’t help that the majority (or maybe the entirety) of the masks were made in China and Trump’s travel ban against them had an impact on exportation.
The most bothersome thing about Fauci’s evolution from his initial lackadaisical response in January as the novel virus decimated Wuhan to his immediate dismissive to not buy masks in February is that what if he did take this seriously like you would expect a professional virus analyst to do. Maybe Trump could have fully authorized the Defense Production Act sooner to replenish the National Emergency Stockpile, then masks and tests would have been mass produced earlier for everyone to wear and get access to, certainly over hundreds of thousands of citizens wouldn’t have perished, millions of people wouldn’t have contracted the disease and millions of people wouldn’t be out of work and the country wouldn’t be mired in a new depression.
But Dr. Fauci never asked or advised that, he just did his and is still doing his job like a good careerist and bureaucrat. But it’s enhanced with iconic status and celebrity in an era when there really is no interest in celebrities or icons. Which only enhances his credibility despite the utter lack of it. Which is why he can circumvent questions from a starfucking talk show host or timid corporate news show hosts with aplomb and not get followed up with jedi mind trick responses like this after following Trump’s bullshit with his own palatable pile of bullshit with his fog of war take. Which was based on another tragedy that also cost over hundreds of thousands of needless deaths.
"I don't want to have anything taken out of context, b/c I already one of those in the last couple days, so I don't want to go through it again. Could things have been done better? Of course" — Fauci on the Covid response & Trump getting mad at him for pointing out the obvious pic.twitter.com/eXl0PXfE9f
The unsettling problem is Big Tony is still around giving interviews and making statements while Trump is still calling the shots. In a way, Fauci is not out of place in Trump’s administration, because he’s just another self-serving deceiver in an administration full of them. He’s definitely not going to resign because he’s still the only one most of the public still believes, fortunately for him it’s hard to play catchup to what even the seemingly credible people say in a 24 hour news cycle integrated with social media platforms that update every minute.
And Fauci is needed now more than ever because COVID positive cases are rising again in the southern states that opened too soon. Plus vaccine trials are occurring and we need the good doctor to mollify us with more vague determinations and sound(s good) advice to give us a semblance of hope to all of us as we live under the New Normal in #COVID19World.
Who knows, maybe working for Trump and covering his fat ass for continuing to undermine the contagion as his popularity wanes, Fauci will quit and explode into a rage and use his iconic status for good, making the rounds on TV and streaming media while yelling about how much he hated working and lying for the President.
But now that the (his, our) circumstances have changed. For the time being or for good if a vaccine doesn’t surface or if another flu strain suddenly manifests. Do like Big Tony says (now), keep the distance and wear the mask.
Technically with all this uncertainty, mostly by Fauci, you really don’t have a choice.
Four years after he announced that he alone can fix America; with his 50,740th tweet it sure looks like Donald John Trump has finally gave in to Fear Itself. Because now that he thinks COVID-19 is some kind of super villain terror kingpin or an omniscient and omnipresent entity.
Although the latter is surely apt, because the Invisible Enemy is sure acting like a vengeful God that is constantly brought up and used as a cudgel by the President’s evangelical monetary backers.
President Donald J. Trump tweeted that message above on Easter Sunday, the day of the alleged resurrection of Jesus H. Christ. The day he proclaimed/decreed to a perplexed Fox News Channel reporter that life, society and the economy will return to normal even in the face of thousands of people getting infected, hospitalized and near death’s door and succumbing to the contagion. Hard to tell if President Trump thought that Jesus was going to rappel from the open sky, take the nails off his hands and slay COVID-19 with them, but his cabinet and advisers had to break the bad news to him that his irrational optimism is no match for the pandemic, leading him to responsibly decree that every state was now a disaster area and everything had to shut down and people had to modify their routines and habits revolving around the virus.
In the few weeks since making America Disasterland, deaths brought on by COVID-19 grew into the thousands, none most devastatingly more than in Trump’s home state of New York.
It really is confounding how that being a college educated, successful (but dishonest) businessman whose net worth is alleged to be billions of dollars and convinced almost half of America to put him in the White House would immensely fuck up the response to the nascent outbreak of COVID-19’s rapid spread that led to this national disaster and economic purgatory existence. Although it shouldn’t be that hard to break down. Trump is by all means a simple kinda man.
Now granted the President is not entirely to blame but he sure is responsible despite his flippant denial. After the disease hit Wuhan suddenly sickening tens of thousands and killing over a thousand people in just a few weeks and turned the province into a ghost town, which led to the Center of Disease Control to issue the first serious warning about coronavirus.
But what’s perplexing is that Trump has at his disposal and under his command a vast network of intelligence agencies keeping track of every environmental and sociopolitical event around the world. We got the CIA, NSC, DOI, DARPA and a vast military apparatus to help monitor these agencies. And one of them was the National Center of Medical Intelligence, who were monitoring this contagion way back in November 2019. And it’s most certain that there was a Presidential Daily Brief that collaborated this looming threat from an Invisible Enemy just as there was when a PDB was written up detailing a terrorist determined to strike the United States back in 2001.
But it appears in retrospect that President Trump took the same approach with the reports from China as President W Bush took when he got the PDB on his ranch in Texas a month before the attacks on 9/11/01. Because around the time this report was made, Trump still golfed and held campaign rallies. (If he even got the PDB at all, knowing that a “steady state” exists in the White House)
Then it came to America literally from coast to coast when a nursing home in a small town in Washington led to a spate of elderly residents dying at once and then the next confirmed case popped up in a tiny suburb above the Bronx named New Rochelle when a lawyer contracted the virus. And then passengers on a cruise ship suddenly got infected with coronavirus as it was heading back to shore
As news was spreading about COVID-19’s threat to the U.S a, around this time Trump was not that worried and neither was the World Health Organization, for they both were getting dishonest reports of how the contagion spreads from the government of China who were doing their usual obfuscations and micromanagement of information. Trump then banned all flights from China, then Iran and South Korea and enacted another travel ban at Europe which led to a mass exodus from that continent causing mass clusters of travelers at airlines trying to get back to America.
Then the short month of February came and following these proactive measures, Trump decided to rest on his laurels and showed good composure as he reassured the nation he had the virus contained and controlled and determined that it was going to go away really really soon after he called it a partisan hoax, continuing his well reputed brand of complacent optimism with golfing and entertaining his base with more rallies as the 29 days flew by and cases in the U.S. started to swell including another case in NYC, the president continued golfing and kept repeating his narrative that COVID-19 was “under control”.
It was under control, but not the Invisible Enemy just the dissemination of information about it’s genesis in the U.S. A doctor from Washington who was frustrated at the bueraucratic bullshit going on with the CDC after they distributed shitty COVID-19 tests decided to break protocol and draw up a test on a teenage male who showed symptoms and was discovered positive and then she and her colleagues proceeded to do testing around their area themselves. Then the feds clamped down on her and Trump continued spout diarrhetic falsehoods from his faceanus.
Then the COVID-19 ides of March came crashing down on Trump as the invisible enemy spread across the land as people started dying. Then the W.H.O. finally declared the contagion as a threat to the world. As is wont with Trump when things go awry, he succumbed to repetitive and outlandish statements (and also a quick round of golf) and finally declared a national emergency on March 13. And is wont with Trump he succumbs to spewing falsehoods, ludicrous retrospection and self-contradiction claiming he knew it was a pandemic from the start yet no one knew it was coming. This he said just minutes apart from each other.
What a fucking imbecile.
Expectedly and ultimately as is wont with Trump, he did not preemptively or thoroughly prepare for the novel virus and made some dumbass decisions that truly exacerbated it. Like when he hired John Bolton to run the National Security Council. While the warmonger was machinating regime change invasion plans against Syria and Venezuela, Bolton decided to eliminate the NSC office’s pandemic response team. To think that when Trump was assembling his cabinet after beating Hillary, he didn’t want to hire Bolton because he didn’t like his mustache. Should have went with his first instinct.
And as it’s become apparent now that America is the biggest disseminator of COVID-19 in the world right now, Trump didn’t have a sufficient federal national stockpile of testing kits, ventilators and PPE supplies in case states ran out of them with the rapid amount of positive cases that rose immensely in a few weeks time after he boisterously lied that tests and medical supplies will be available and will save everyone.
But what makes Trump’s horrendous non-response that has resulted in thousands of fatalities in the country he thought he could fix by himself is how miserly he has been with the national stockpile which was scarce to begin with.
Trump then commissioned his COVID-19 task force team and assigned VP Mike “Pontius Pilate” Pence to supervise it, despite having zero medical expertise but his reliance on prayers and heavenly wish fulfillment from an Invisible Man In The Sky falls in line with Trump’s fatal brand of optimism. The president did do the right thing and invoked the Defense Production Act to get corporations to produce PPE’s as hospitals were running out and nurses and doctors were contracting the diseases while rewashing their masks and wearing garbage bags to protect themselves. But he’s only sparingly invoked it and did not authorize it. If it was authorized, companies could have mass produced masks, gloves, scrubs, ventilators and put out quality COVID-19 tests instead of the shitty ones they made that a doctor had maybe thousands of lives could have been saved. But that would have been an acceptance of socialism and Trump and the billionaires that own this plutocracy don’t want that.
Trump’s barely significant invocations contributed to thousands of more citizens getting infected and spreading the disease while unaware (since COVID-19 acts as a sleeper cell in asymptomatic people) so he can meander and then bestow the pandemic response to his co-advisor, son-in-law and lost boy oligarch vampire Jared Kushner and his bolier room styledCOVID-19 task force he assembled to manage the dwindling and mass production of the federal stockpile that is dependent of the president’s methodical and moody very strong invoking.
Few days later after thousands of more deaths starting piling up and markedly in the epidemic’s epicenter of Trump’s childhood borough in Queens and state of New York, Jared admonished governor’s demands to save the lives of their constituents, doctors, nurses, government service and essential workers, claiming that the federal stockpile does not belong to them and suggested using innovation to acquire the PPE’s they need. Then Trump administration had to get their data beavers and remix the CDC website to reflect Jared’s heinous gaffe.
What Jared and Trump are with their stingy distribution of the emergency federal stockpile so desperately needed to states especially regarding the pandemic’s epicenter of New York is similar to the slumlord behavior and tactics they adminstered with their apartment building portfolios when they wanted to get rent-stabilized tenants out of their buildings by denying them basic services like heat, water and power and repairs.
But the reason why they are doing these dastardly things that are costing hundreds of lives daily is because the Chamber of Commerce is vociferously against nationalizing companies to produce life saving equipment, which is why Trump is only “invoking” DPA in increments.
Amid the presentnational emergency, compelling industry to undertake massive changes to global production chains would be damaging.(Emphasis theirs)
The EO is seeks to impose major changes on critical industries in the midst of a public health crisis. The ability of businessesto move quickly to “repatriate supply chains”at a time when many businessfunctions are shut down isclose to nil.
While some sectors may be able to boost production of relatively simple products domestically on an emergency basis, forcing industries with complex value chains to shift suddenly is a different matter.
Additionally, at a time when U.S. andglobal financial markets are under tremendous strain, movesby the world’s largest economy to break it trade agreement commitments would send the wrong signal to markets and add to the present financial uncertainty.
Somehow, this Chamber of Commerce’s pernicious and predominant influence on the budgetary and now emergency decisions for America and Americans has barely got any attention on the endless coverage COVID19 porn that’s on corporate news televised and social media and it might be because corporations like Google and Nike are on the COC board. Because of this callous and diabolical machinating, PPE’s are being manufactured and dispensed as luxury products going for ossified prices to the highest bidder. It doesn’t help that COVID-19 tests went to celebrities and pro athletes as well as corporate executives and elected offcials first.
And now the President of Disasterland had to do something he always fought tooth and nail to avoid doing when he screwed over his contractors and clients that built his empire, he had to pay back the nation he was elected to lead for fucking it up. Like his disastrous Taj Mahal casino quagmire in Atlantic City, Trump’s negligence since the start of 2020 as coronavirus was creeping across the planet has put America in economic purgatory, as 26 million citizens are forcing themselves to stay home with the exception of the newly branded “essential workers” and waiting for unemployment insurance and thousands of REAL small businesses have to shut down if they are not deemed “essential”. This led to the massively inequitable 6 trillion dollar CARES stimulus act proving more oligarch welfare and a class action settlement one time pittance payment of $1200 for the working class as they scrounge their savings to pay their rent and creditors until the states “reopen for business”.
But don’t worry nation because the President isn’t. Hell, he has always operated and conducted himself by not giving a fuck. He continues to harangue the press with his fake news refrain and continues to make outlandish statements, comments and suggestions like his current batty remedy of injecting bleach and applying sunlight to prevent coronavirus from spreading. The latter he described as if the sun was like IcyHot.
And now the psycho President is trying to get the nation back to work although sounding less tyrannical than he did not long ago when he was channeling Mussolini by claiming “total authority”, which he didn’t recognize when the Chamber Of Commerce was telling him to back off the DPA order. Although as is wont of Trump, his proclivity for administering authority by contradiction gets worse as he tells his constituency to abide by coronavirus protocols then goes on twitter with exhortations to his base to embrace insurgency and liberate themselves from the states implementing his own disaster declaration order.
As if all that including hundreds of deaths piling up daily from the contagion and coming up with more trillions for more stimulus bills to bail out America and more importantly to Trump his re-election, we still got to spend another trillion or two for essential regimes to change and a new cold war to fight.
But at least now everyone will have access to a swab after 3 fucking months as the disease spread, now revealed to have started here around January, as Pontius Pence recently announced that five million citizens got the COVID-19 tests as a harbinger of hope to get the nation’s economy up and running again.
And we will. It’s just another 317 million more citizens to go.
Then after that, while wearing cheap masks, rubber gloves and standing six feet apart as we do our collective daily grind to keep the capitalist system thriving making modest wages and making billionaires even richer, we collectively as a country will pull together to help President Trump Make Disasterland Great Again.
