Despite The President’s Racist Tirades, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Must Fire Her Chief Of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti

https://proxy.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fa57.foxnews.com%2Fmedia2.foxnews.com%2FBrightCove%2F694940094001%2F2019%2F03%2F05%2F931%2F524%2F694940094001_6010177054001_6010181983001-vs.jpg%3Fve%3D1%26tl%3D1&f=1

A few weeks ago on the heels of the congressional hearings of the Senate’s border funding bill, a brash man in his 30’s  decided to take to social media and rail against the establishment very old guard and “moderate” Democrats for their support of it. And the social media storm came from the chief of staff of the most pop-centric elected official of our time (and arguably maybe all time since the young Kennedys) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Saikat Chakrabarti. Although he made salient points about the congressional hacks constant cave-ins, he made a boneheaded analogy comparing Speaker Pelosi and the other Dems voting for it to the Dixiecrats of nearly a century ago, which he immediately deleted. This led to Pelosi and her assembled old and rich peers to come down hard on Ocasio-Cortez and also three other women who objected to then rejected the bill, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rahsida Tailb, and Rep. Ayanna Pressely (which AOC’s chief of staff also name dropped in his thread) who are now affectionately branded by the said establishment Dem hacks as “the Squad”, purely to undermine and degrade their popularity, familiarity and whatever ideas to make the country a better place.

Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez then backed herself into a corner and pulled out a race card implying that Pelosi and all of them were being a bit racist considering the race of her and her aforementioned allies in order to defend Sakit’s deleted tweet. Speaker Pelosi and long-time shady establishment hack Congressman Gregory Meeks then laid on accusations of Ocasio-Cortez being just a figurehead character whose is being controlled by her chief-of-staff.

Even though these are atypical reactions from an electorate body of officials that are cognizant of their weakening status in office and of the growing and widening disdain of them by their constituencies to undermine a young and immensely popular upstart like Ocasio-Cortez, their vindictive accusations of her being dependent on her obnoxious chief of staff does have merit.

But in actuality, it’s not only because of his tweet conflating the current shitty Congress and the shitty racist enabling one back in the day or even wearing a very stupid t-shirt, it’s mostly because he’s a dishonest person and a multi-millionaire feigning to be a revolutionary, trying to become a player in D.C.. He also could have underhanded reasons to personally profit from what on the surface are progressive policies that are being pushed.

Chakrabarti, or Chak as he will be referred to here for the sake of brevity and it sounds better, got filthy rich in Silicon Valley developing a web tool called Mockingbird and participated in Bernie Sanders miraculous yet defeated presidential campaign, followed by hooking up with the current representative of New York’s fighting fourteenth district in Northeast Queens and the South Bronx with the Justice Democrats PAC he co-formed.

But since that victory, he’s been pulling some very shady and non-progressive stunts. A few of which involved some pitiful photo ops with the all-star rookie congresswoman.

Like how he transferred $885,000 from his two PAC’s he formed, the Brand New Congress and Justice Democrats and to two new LLC’s (one of which uses the former name) so he and the congresswoman can evade transparency in how they are charging contractors for services like polling and marketing, how the funding is accrued, who is donating and how much they are donating. The purpose for these former PACs cum companies is to bolster fellow and future Justice Democrats who run for elected office.

A lot of what transpired with the transactions and the conflicts involving AOC and her chief of staff are incredibly convoluted yet almost masterful so to avoid any serious fines or even serious charges. Especially the creative way that Sakrit can work for the congresswoman and earn a taxpayer funded salary while still running these LLC’s.The fact that these are “progressives” involved in dark money transactions and the machinating efforts behind them flies in the face of the Justice Democrats creed of getting money out of politics.

Although after these initial complaints, it seems the machinating is still continuing. Back in April on Earth Day, the congresswoman held an 5k running event in Astoria touting the Green New Deal, the environmental economic program she debuted at Nancy Pelosi’s office in her first day at work in D.C. Thinking that it was for the cause, attendees paid registration fees of $30 and $20 for kids to be in the presence of the representative, but turned out that Ocasio-Cortez and her staff had integrated the event into a campaign fundraiser for her new AOC for Congress PAC. Despite the unethical bait and switch, there was no actual malfeasance because it was written in fineprint on Ocasio-Cortez’s facebook page.

When confronted about this during the run, Alexandra was able to dodge the question while holding a baby. It looked so horribly evasive as something Selena Meyer would pull.

Then there was another event she and her staff arrangedwhere she went back to her roots and tended bar in Jackson Heights to address a raise of the federal minimum wage. Despite the utter lack of disclosure to the press and the public (and her constituents), the optics of this was made worse with the bar she chose to revisit her former trade, a recently opened hipster barsteraunt. The type of establishment that usually is a harbinger for gentrification and a death knell for struggling rent-burdened tenants. Listed on the blackboard menu was a $16 order for the notorious foodie delcicacy avocado toast.

There was not much information about this event, but it would be easy to speculate that it might have been another cleverly plotted fundraiser since attendance to the publicity stunt was tightly regulated to labor union reps and some workers and the only press there was one reporter from the NY Daily News which covered it.

Since Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is more occupied with her current job and actually doing a bang up job and also still maintaining her social media feed, the number one suspect behind these recent stunts has got to be Chief of Staff Chak. Well, now he’s evolved from that role to public enemy number one by the multi-millionaire Democrats in Congress with his twitter outbursts, who were collectively and vicariously through Speaker Pelosi were calling for Chaks head on a pike while calling for his “boss” to shut his ass up and undermining her status at the same time. Even President Trump mouthed off in solidarity defense of Nancy Pants.

Fortunately for Saikat oh Chak, the President has no sense of boundaries. Because following Nancy Pelosi’s degrading insults of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez as well as Reps. Talib, Omar and Pressely as just four votes that don’t mean shit despite them representing millions of Americans, President Trump became emboldened by Nancy’s dressing down of those women and shot  xenophobia and racist bombs and missives from his faceanus and on social media, degrading his own office and nation even further by telling those four women to go back to horrible places where they came from since they “complain” to much. Never mind with the exception of Omar who is a citizen, the three women are from the U.S.A. and are precisely there because there is still shit wrong with this country according to a lot of voters. (I always wondered if Trump believed that the Bronx was another country). Then Trump quadrupled duced down and decided to target Omar at his second campaign rally (the first was the Farce of July) by ragging on her and waiting patiently for the crowd to chant “Send Her Back”, the sequel to the Hillary refrain “lock her up” (another promised he broke, a lot of progressives actually want that too.)

Despite this lucky distraction, and the inevitable rise in solidarity support for AOC, it still doesn’t absolve the fact that despite Trump’s vicious bloviation Chak is a bad influence and detriment to her status and her future in elected office. That’s if she gets re-elected, because despite her phenomenal celebrity, Chak is still endangering and undermining her ability to represent her district with his own social media and disruptive antics which have obviously carried over from his time as a software creator in Silicon Valley, where the general edict there is to “move fast and break things”. That shit may work in the tech community but it doesn’t work in real life with real people and in politics. His big dumb mouth is also belittling AOC not only as a congresswoman but a woman with independent ideas and visions to make her country great again. It’s like Chak thinks he’s a modern day political Svengali with her and certainly with future candidates he wants to churn from his shady superpacs. While he makes reprehensible poitical reprobates like President Trump look rational and good (until he goes off-script) and gives long time corrupt parasites like congressman Greg Meeks to recruit protege candidate hacks of his own.

She has got to get rid of this guy or her political career and whatever destiny she wants to achieve will be kaput. Otherwise the fact will rise that she is way to dependent on him and that’s not going to go over well in due time, especially with her constituents.

Which means Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez has to fire her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti. Or at least he should voluntarily step off.

Hell, he can afford to, he’s a fucking multi-millionaire.

NYPD crime status report for the month of June shows murders are down from last year but shootings went up 7%, which means that the only reason no one is dying on the streets is that the perpetrators have shitty aim. Which is evident with most of the incidents listed on this months blotter on the “Safest Big City”

Bronx

In Concourse Village, a woman was tormented by a group of 12 boys and girls on a city bus who were insulting her for wearing a hijab. When she got off the bus to get away from them, they followed her off and surrounded her, took off her hijab and beat her down to the ground two separate times, first by a group of girls then by 3 boys. They ripped her hijab and the clothes she was wearing apart and damaged her engagement ring during the lynching, and robbed her handbag which contained a stipend check of $500 and three forms of I.D.

Cops showed up after the bias attack and detained three of the bigoted brats then released them.

When the woman went to file a report at the 42nd Precinct, they dismissed her because they initially claimed there was no video available of her biased based assault and that there were no cameras around to record any footage of it so they decided not to continue the investigation, which is laughably disputable with the amount of cameras placed in this city and the NYPD’s own obsession with surveillance tech. Compounding her difficulty was that the D.A. decided not to pursue her bias attack because she couldn’t recall what her bigoted attackers looked like as she still was suffering trauma from the beating she took.

Undeterred and not buying the NYPD’s complete bullshit, she had no choice but to get the footage herself. Despite the precinct’s lazy and dismissive claims, she got from video from cameras from two buildings showing two angles, distributed to the local news stations and now it’s under the purview of the hate crimes division and the D.A.’s office.

There are so many unsettling aspects of this incident. The first being the NYPD deliberately lied to this woman so to discourage her from seeking justice for a senseless beating that cost her over $4,000 in medical bills. The second is that the NYPD blew this off despite the rise in bias crimes in this city and country (which is being generally blamed by the comments of the President of the United States) which includes Islamophobic attacks like this one.. The third is that this happened a month before it got any media attention because of the efforts of this woman in spite of the willful listlessness of the NYPD. And finally is that with the amount of publicity given to bias crimes against the Jewish and LGBT communities even for things like graffiti and vandalism against them, that this beatdown of a Muslim woman would have warranted repeated updates by the corporate owned local news media or even national attention. Because even though Fatoumata Camara lived to tell about it and also get the evidence by herself to get justice, this is just as horrific and disgraceful as the bias driven attacks of Michael Griffiths in Howard Beach and Yusef Hawkins in Bensonhurst.

It should also be pointed out that these weren’t Islamophobes for these kids did not convey fear at all in attacking this woman. They are Islamothropes, because this conveyed hatred. Like other racist and biased mobs and incidents, it’s always about the hate.

Also in Concourse Village, a woman was caught in possession of 36 baggies of heroin and crack at her place of work at the D.A.’s office of the Bronx Criminal Courthouse when she dropped them on the floor.

The recidivist reckless driver then backed up into traffic and sped through stop signs and ditched the car he was driving. He got busted in a different fancy car when the cops pulled him over and was found not to be posessing his driver’s license. This fucking dick is one of the reasons why certain people want to shut down Rikers Island?

Impunity Public Service Announcement: Cellphones should not be used as wallets. Because three boys using app-hail services ripped off 33 Uber and Lyft drivers for 3 months. The start by using a ruse telling the mark that they need to use their phones because they wan’t to go somewhere else and feign like their phones weren’t working or their batteries were low. When that didn’t work they would resort to the old method of physical threats and just rob their phones outright. The thieves then withdraw money from the drivers “employer” apps and transfer them to fabricated accounts they control. Their operation is done with them together or by going solo. Their last reported theft was a digital haul of $1,500.

Think of this the next time you go to one of those shitty chains that refuse cash and when the OMNY pay system takes over mass transit in a few years. Turns out the tech dweebs are fucking wrong again.

The Biggest Portable ATM Machine In Queens

156

Richmond Hill, Queens, N.Y.

What the hell is up with this bank? For some peculiar reason, NYCB decided to end human interaction customer and teller service at this Liberty Ave. branch back in April and has only made this bank available for ATM service. But only for withdrawals and not deposits. It’s like one of those crappy looking machines you see by bodegas or barstaurants except it’s an entire commercial storefront version of it.

155

And it looks super shady too, right to the blackened doors and window. With all the small businesses closing shop in the five boroughs because of exorbitant rents and taxes, this is a colossal waste of space. What was once a bank now looks like a place to score weed or a hastily improvised mafia social club. (Actually, this would have been a weed shop financed with a loan by NYCB if Cuomo and those wimps in Albany would have shown some goddamn sense and full on legalized it.)

157

And to top off this bizarro sight, it was just recently visited by National Grid and they left a door handle card stating that they missed their scheduled appointment! I wonder why they had to leave? Maybe it’s because there’s not a physical person working there?

154

I don’t know who owns this building or this commercial space, which I presume is the bank itself, but this gives off as much suspicion of malfeasance and plain bad vibes as those mailbox stores in Williamsburg, Brooklyn containing boxes rented by LLC owners of apartment buildings. And despite the little mirror and camera there, this machine will make any customer taking cash out an easy victim of a knifepoint holdup or even by some skell zipping on a scooter or bike snatching your cash out of your hands.

NYCB should close this down now or at least rent out the space for some enterprising folks, which is what I thought that they were in business for, like making loans for new businesses. Because this just looks really bad and cheap for this mostly local quasi-national bank, especially after they just lent Steve Croman millions of dollars to buy a landmark bar after he robbed them.

Hell, even another 99 cent store or barstaurant on Liberty would be a better than this money spewing hovel. As long as there are few extra people who can get jobs.

But please, not another hookah joint.
