Writings on the wall Mayor of Swagger

Mayor Eric Adams favorite credo “NYC has 8 million people with 30 million opinions, but there’s only one mayor” got the biggest opinion of him he’s got so far when one of the 8 million showed one opinion about him projecting on a wall on the Verizon office and transmitter building in downtown Manhattan and he can’t really shake it off like he usually does with the crimes continuing massive rise in all major felony and misdemeanor categories.

For all the shitlib talk and consternation about Mayor Adams’s reverting to Giuliani’s broken windows policing tactics that lowered crime in the 90’s, the policy hasn’t done much to put fear into petty and recidivist criminals and the gangbangers to get them to keep their collective noses clean. And why would they be intimidated by a former cop mayor who has become so obsessed with starfucking he is willing to vibe out next to a model drunk off her ass at an exclusive party run by a too big to fail big bank at a bland new tower in Midtown?

At least it looks like the revival (and rebranding) of the anti-crime gun removal NYPD units has made an impact with shootings and murders on a slight down trend but they are still happening with more frequency compared to pre-pandemic times three years ago and even a decade ago.

Sadly, Mayor Adams ramping up deployment of cops to the transit system has led to disappointing results. Random and intentional assaults and muggings are regular occurrences in subway and commuter complaints of barely seeing a police presence on the platforms and trains are more frequent. The latter was evident when a man pulled off an act of domestic terrorism on the N train during rush hour and Mayor Adams response to it was dreadfully delayed by getting suddenly stricken with COVID-19 (or suspiciously stricken to avoid press scrutiny). After that incident, Adams double ramped up NYPD deployment on mass transit but felonious crimes and even shootings continued to happen on the trains days after Frank James made a mockery of the mayor’s policing tactics.

Despite a total overhaul of leadership to run Rikers Island with a commissioner who shares Mayor Adams proclivity for hiring cronies, rampant violence and death continue to persist in the few buildings left that are housing inmates. Recently appointed SDNY D.A. noticed the continued obfuscations going on and immediately put the Adams and D.O.C. Commissioner on notice to come up with a plan or they will be taken over by a federal receiver. Mayor Adams reacted to this by crassly claiming that he’s the right man to fix Rikers because he’s Black despite his shady machinations to undermine the environment and perpetual culture of violence and corruption on the island that led to the D.A.’s decision which was way overdue after de Blasio let Rikers rot for nearly a decade and worsen conditions there as the city planned to build four more tower jails to close the prison island complex.

Mayor Adams ended the first month of this violent spring in NYC by holding a summit with every precinct commander about the stubborn rise in major crimes, which the NYPD high brass actually do in their COMPSTAT meetings at the end of the month. The distinction being that Adams wanted to discuss the sweeps of homeless encampments and shuttling of homeless people to shelters which have also failed to garner results since barely a fraction of the indigent accepted to go to them and also to oddly defend commissioner Sewell (or maybe his choice to make her commissioner). Like the recidivist criminals on the streets, cops of all stripes reacted to the two hour convention like the joke it was and since journalists were suppressed from attending this hearing, this was clearly just another media and optics diversion by Adams and his media managing minions for the self-proclaimed general and shepherd to project leadership and swagger as a deflection from the fact that he’s been anything but a leader to bring down crime like he promised when he ran for mayor at this point of time last year. He didn’t even feature this crime summit in his weekly self-aggrandizing b-roll video of his mayoral “accomplishments”

Today’s menaces of society are having a hearty laugh right now.

Queens

In Forest Hills, a man murdered a woman in her house, stabbing her over 50 times after he broke into her home with a key that was left in the backyard. He waited for her when she came home from a night in Manhattan with friends and a nightcap in a nearby bar by Austin St and slaughtered her following a fight they had after she demanded he get out of her house after she let him inside. The man stuffed her butchered body into a hockey duffle bag belonging to her youngest son and rolled it a quarter mile and dumped it on the sidewalk by a highway entrance near Forest Park where it was found early in the morning by a woman jogging by. Then the man sent a threat via text to her husband and  ran to his home in South Richmond Hill to hide from the cops.

After finding the woman’s body on the grass, NYPD CSI traced blood all the way back to the victim’s house and cops startling interrogated the 13-year-old boy, who was sleeping upstairs in his bedroom as the bloody slaughter took place, treating him like the main suspect and slapped the cuffs on him. The man had a two year love affair with his victim and while working at her and her husband’s house as their handyman after installing air conditioning units for them and gruesomely butchered her following a fight between them when she was trying to break up with him. Although he now claims that he wanted to confront her because he thought she gave him HIV during their sexual dalliances together.

Asked about the ghoulish murder that has dominated headlines and struck fear into the residents of the town, Mayor Eric Adams feigned indifference claiming he wasn’t cognizant of the incident with a tone conveying he didn’t give a shit about it.

Also in Forest Hills, a brawl in front of a nite club escalated when some hardhead pulled out a gun and shot the bouncer.

A suspect of the slaying is a man who usually goes to the Chinese restaurant where the victim worked and regularly gave his fellow workers there a hard time like over petty shit like the amount of duck sauce he wanted and on other occasions threatened them with a gun and damaged their cars, notably slashing the tires of the owner’s vehicle. The murder victim last wrestled with the hangry customer and took his photo and the NYPD still did nothing substantial to address their plight until it was too late.

And again in Forest Hills, two men on a moped got robbed at gunpoint on the street hours after that delivery worker got murdered on the north side of town nearby. One of them was a delivery worker who was driving. An indication that the homicide may have been a robbery attempt and might have nothing to do with the customer the late victim grappled with.

In South Richmond Hill, a 70-year-old man got sucker punched by a man while he was walking to a temple on a quiet street in the morning light and wound up lying bloodied on the sidewalk.

A few of the goons caught one of his friends trying to flee and beat him in the middle of the street and then they made off with their mark’s motor scooter, cellphone and his backpack. Even though it’s one of the biggest transit hubs in Queens and months after Mayor Adams and Governor Hochul declared more public safety measures and a bigger police presence would be on the transit system and it happened during the fucking evening rush hour, there were no cops to be found at the station to stop the ruckus and homicide. The late victim was planning on leaving New York City because it got too dangerous for him.

New Bad Days 92: This is DeBlastopia

Bill de Blasio, leaves City Hall laughing at New Yorker’s expense and enabled rising crime waves not seen in 20 years.

The Blaz era is finally and mercifully over but his contribution to the New Bad Days of  will go down in history as the greatest regression of New York City in 50 years and will surely continue to plague this town for years to come.

With the exception of burglary which went down mostly because people are still home or not working because of the continuing pandemic (which the Blaz prolonged with his idiotic mandates but that’s another post for another day), all other felony index crimes went up, notably murders and shootings which have not reached these plateaus in nearly 20 years. Rapes and sexual assaults also saw distressing inclines as well as muggings and car theft. The biggest crime wave that enveloped the city were hate crimes with most of the bias attacks being committed against Asians and Jewish people by predominantly Black people, although most of the aggressors were emotionally disturbed.

Not listed on COMPSTAT is people killed by fires in the last year which went up by 16%.

The Blaz’s continuing abdication of his role in keeping mass transit running smoothly led to the rise of subway crime and violence. His indifference to his persistently dangerous homeless shelters led to another rise of homelessness sheltering in subway trains and stations and his failed mental health farce run by his tax boondoggle wife has led to a blowback of suicides that also went up in the subway as well. To illustrate how dangerous the rails have devolved to, a woman made a viral video locking herself to a pole with a cheap bike chain and lock to avoid getting randomly pushed to the tracks (it was on an elevated platform too), even though she was already making her vulnerable to getting mugged or even killed by other means by trapping herself.

This woman wasn’t the only one taking preemptive measures to somewhat protect herself, the fine folks running Bank of America in their tower lair in Bryant Park advised their employees to loosen their ties and leave their suits at home when they commute to work, fearing their attire would make them easy marks for muggings, turning casual Friday to casual everyday.

Speaking of being trapped and living in fear, with former mayor de Blasio’s maniacal insistence and persistence to reopen the schools full time, NYC schools had to deal with the double threat of coronavirus and gun violence (with the remainder the usual bullying that still traditionally goes on in public and parochial schools) during a deleterious period of under-staffing of school safety officers on account of de Blasio’s extortion vaccine mandate. While a handful of guns confiscated were reportedly gang related, a lot of students are bringing myriad weapons to protect themselves to add to the 28% rise in confiscations compared to 2 years ago. Also speaking of being trapped and living in fear, the last month at Rikers under de Blasio’s reign and his shit lib buddy interim D.O.C. commish Schiraldi continued to mire in chaos and decay as another 3 inmate died inside the prison complex, surely enhanced by a sharp drop in C.O. personnel that didn’t comply with the extortion mandate.

But de Blasio saved his best worst for the last on the streets of New York (besides his monstrously illegal destruction of East River Park). As if he was suddenly reminded that there was a mass drug abuse crisis with over 2,000 people dying of drug overdoses from heroin and fentanyl, seemingly forgetting all about it because he was busy ignoring the rise in crime and homelessness while shilling vaccines and trying to machinate an economic recovery for the city, The Blaz got the gumption to open two doping intake centers in two predominantly BIPOC neighborhoods in East Harlem and Washington Heights.

While these facilities have proven to be effective to prevent overdoses in other nations, The Blaz still found a way to fuck up another progressive program by also permitting junkies to smoke crack, meth and K-2 in them as well. Another thing he royally fucked up was placing these smack/crack houses by grade schools and day care centers. This has set off alarm bells among the small business owners and residents of these communities, that even Al Sharpton returned to the streets to protest against them like he did when he painted scarlet letters on crack houses in Brownsville and Bed-Stuy back in the 80’s. And as with everything Bill de Bacle touches it comes with his recidivist corruption, as he circumvented state laws to approve permits to turn to uptown neighborhoods into Hampsterdams and like with the Department of Social Services and the city’s dangerous homeless shelters, the city’s Department of Health is letting the non-profits who are running these smack/crack houses monitor themselves regarding the treatment of the junkies and the budgeting as well.

And of course when talking about the streets, lets not forget de Blasio’s other massive failure that is Vision Zero, which has led to rise in casualties and accidents despite the city’s hostile and spiteful street redesigns and infrastructure all to punitively abolish the existence of cars from the streets.

To top it all off, de Blasio’s heinous indifference and insouciance to over 100,000 criminal actions under his watch last year as led to the crushing low morale in the NYPD, that a majority of cops don’t even want to patrol and protect and serve in NYC anymore, a collective dismaying despondence that has New York’s finest turning their backs on the citizenry like they turned their backs to The Blaz 7 years ago.

Bill de Blasio spent 2021 lamely trying to bring a recovery for all of us, but the city of New York begins 2022 in a state of deBlastopia.

Current Mayor de Blasio: non-plussed, uninvolved, disinterested

Manhattan

In Times Square, eight men ran an 24/7 crack distribution ring on a street corner making over 10 g’s a week in the biggest tourist attraction in the world in the past year. Ain’t no stopping New York City!!

Also in Times Square, a bunch of kids got corralled by cops who caught them cutting off cars while doing reckless stunts on their bicycles.

Again in Times Square, a woman tried to push a man onto the tracks from the N/Q/R platform. Cops caught her at the Herald Square Station. The woman had six priors for assault in the last month, all of them she committed on the subway.

Cops patrolling the area (there are 100’s of them) detained the kook but he resisted arrested and tried to spin his way out of the grips of three cops but fell hard on his ass on the pavement. The cantankerous derelict also randomly assaulted a man three months earlier on the Upper West Side for walking past him after getting out of his car.

And again in Times Square at the 42nd St. Station, a man mumbling to himself on the Q train got up from his seat and then randomly spat, then punched and slashed a man in the face.

And again in Times Square, a man got into an argument with two other men and got shot in the le…oh wait they got into a tussle that caused a planter to fall which panicked hundreds of people and cause them all to flee the area and dozens of cops and higher brass NYPD to flood the zone to arrest at least one perp. The man wound up wounded when a pedicab ran over his ankle and wound up arrested for weed possession, even though carrying an oz of weed is legal.

There was no shooting there at all. Nope, no shooting at all, and if you continue to question this blatant discrepancy you are a conspiracy theorist. Despite witness testimony on social media that it was definitely a shooting. All that matters is to ensure people with a semblance and the optics of safety, which the current mayor of New York City finds wholly and despairingly acceptable.

The staircase in the first building has been regularly used as a sanctuary for homeless people as a safer alternative than sleeping on the streets and in one of current mayor Bill de Blasio’s dangerous and carceral influenced homeless shelters.

Also in East Harlem, a man tied another man up to a lamp post with duct tape and smacked him around as passerby gawked and taunted him thinking that he was caught in the act trying to rob somebody . After the perpetrator smacked him again when an NYPD vehicle rolled by, cops came out and brandished their guns as if they were about to arrest them, but it turned out it was just a gag video being produced for their social media account. The cops then laughed and moved along.

And again in East Harlem, a man got shot in the torso on the grounds of the Wagner Houses.

The two cops on foot patrol don’t bother give chase and the other two cops don’t even move from their vehicle or even use it to pursue the fleeing gang.

The four cops were ultimately suspended for their insouciance, but it’s possible that they are only following orders because the city can’t put anymore criminals on Rikers Island because we are trying to close it down for our real estate developer overlords.

And again in Harlem, a man ran towards a parked car and shot a man to death who sitting in the drivers seat. The killer is still on the loose.

Commuters witnessing the arrest filmed the cop on their cellies, which infuriated the cop and used his authority to intimidate them from documenting the arrest and ticketed a woman filming it. Then the cop confronted two men walking away from the incident on the street and then he grabbed one of them and threw him down to the concrete and stole his cellphone. The cops has cost city taxpayers nearly $300,000 for prior abuses of the badge from excessive force lawsuits against the city.

Also in the Lower East Side, tenants at the Wald Houses were throwing their trash out of their windows, where they landed on the ledge by a woman’s apartment, causing a colony rat infestation an olfactory hazard. When Monica Morales showed up to report it, NYCHA cleaned it up the next day, showing once again she’s doing Bart Shwartz’s six figure earning monitor job for free.

Again in the Lower East Side, a homeless man stabbed another man in the chest to win an argument at a park nearby a luxury housing tower.

Again in the East Village, a man chased another man down the street while holding a gun and then h

Again in the East Village, cops caught a stupid hipster from another state an apartment he shares with another hipster for spray painting his lame graffiti tags on the E, C, and 1 trains at stations in Forest Hills, Harlem and Washington and an advertisement poster in Times Square and had a good cry during processing.

The mentally ill man continued his rampage against humankind in Chelsea, where he found a hammer and smashed car windows and a few restaurant windows until the cops caught up with him and collared him.

The man was an Iraq War veteran who suffered from mental illness most of his life, which exacerbated after he finished his service with the Army and wound up in a VA hospital and wandering the streets. Where is fucking THRIVE? Oh yeah, this service is too sophisticated to handle cases where mentally and emotionally disturbed people are prone to violence and besides the human tax boondoggle Chirlie’s Wilhelm’s husband says that attacks from these mentally ill people don’t happen that much and they shouldn’t be subjected to stereotypes.

Also in the Financial District, two gangbangers murdered a hooker in their airbnb rented apartment and stuffed her corpse in a 55 gallon drum barrel and ditched her in Jersey. The prostitute was a frequent visitor to that building.

In terms of the budgetary costs of current Mayor de Blasio’s tax boondoggle wife’s phantom mental health program THRIVE correlating with the legacy of this man’s reign of street terror, about 0 dollars out of the 1.25 billion dollars went to help this lunatic.

Because of the embarrassing media attention, de Blasio’s DHS managed to get the man a room in order to hide him from society for awhile. Maybe he’ll get vaccinated and get the Key to NYC which will open up the city to resume his mayhem on the streets.

A man rode his e-powered uniwheel on the FDR Drive. He was going about 35 mph. This toy really needs to be off the streets.

Every numbered subway line and the L Train were knocked out of service when a power outage occurred that was sourced from the Rail Control Tower in Hell’s Kitchen, which caused two subway trains in the Harlem River Tunnel to stall, leading to an evacuation of over 100 commuters who had to walk towards the next destinations. The transit faux pas was caused by a single on/off switch (or button) that was tripped by a MTA worker because there wasn’t a protective cap on it. Which means that worst transit system of the universe can be sabotaged and rendered inoperable by somebody accidentally hit a button with his/her ass. An issue that can easily solve by buying a bottle of tropical fantasy cola at a nearby bodega on 10th Ave for 50 cents.
