Mayor Eric Adams and his quasi-technicolor dreamcoat

Eric Adams, chosen by the voters and the oligarchy to run New York City, just cannot catch a break. Yet again, perhaps he doesn’t deserve one with the way he’s conducted himself in his 5 months in office as voters let him have it in a poll saying that he’s not doing a damn thing to bring downs shootings and crime in general. Adams hit a personal nadir with his decision to attend the ostentatious Met Gala fashion show and arrived wearing a hideous tuxedo coat with weird Keith Haring derivative art and the words “End Gun Violence on the back of it. A week after he wore that stupid ass jacket, a total of 26 shootings occurred in NYC hitting 29 New Yorkers.

Shootings continue to persist in a rapid pace despite the best efforts of the NYPD to get guns off the street which showed a modest percentage decline. The breakneck speed proliferation of “ghost guns” has surely made these efforts extremely difficult. But the gun violence in May were dreadfully pronounced, notably with the stray bullet slaying of an 11-year-old girl in the Bronx and the insane random killing of a big bank worker in the subway, which happened to be the same line where Frank James shot up the N train during rush hour, hitting over a dozen people.

Instead of embracing this progress and making sure it maintains stability while monitoring it from City Hall, Adams reverted back to vainglorious form and abandoned the city to go to Los Angeles for another fundraiser and engage in more starfucking hanging out with the elites and seeing the Dave Chappelle show. Even worse is that Mayor Swagger missed his flight, either from being tardy from partying all night or he was up all morning cranking out talking points to defend his trip and catch up to the crime crises he has to discuss, like all the massive overtime spent in the NYPD’s budget to bring down felonies. Or maybe he was just plain scared.

Although it seems the Mayor’s own fear and trepidation (which he’s trying to conceal with swagger) could be trickling down to the NYPD as well. Because police presence is still lacking and lagging in the subterranean lunatic asylum transit system as crime and violence ghastly increases every day. One conductor even lashed out at current MTA president Janno Leiber about getting crazy people off the trains once they get out of service and the blatant insouciance response by cops who walk away without removing or arresting the unruly commuter. Which wholly contradicts Adams decision to deploy cops to patrol the trains that haven’t been seen in 40 years. And despite the implementation of former abomination mayor Bill de Blasio’s Smack and Crack Houses in upper Manhattan, junkies are still shooting up their works in the subway more than ever. More suicidal people are using the trains to kill themselves again also.

Hardly being spoken about is the outstanding rise in auto theft, but officials and the media is barely mentioning it because there is a palpable solidarity among the elites that personal car ownership should be abolished in the five boroughs. Graffiti has seen a massive uptick inside the subway too (mostly by above ground stations walls) as tags have become predominant there as well as on building walls and restaurant shanties all over town and most of it is being done by people from other nations, mostly Europeans who are co-opting the genre and culture from the Black and Latino communities. No wonder they look lame.

The biggest scourge in New York City, next to remorseless criminals and crime and crisis denying fauxgressive YIMBYs, is the newest plague of the still burgeoning rat population.  Which shows that like the recidivist criminals, even the rats are not intimidated by Mayor Adams, even after he showed off to the press and public how he drowned a shitload of them in a vat a few years ago. And since then, the rodents are showing Darwinian growth, soon they’ll be walking upright and loitering on street corners and selling swipes at metrocard machines. This will only get worse because Adams refuses to see the root cause that is coming from the restaurant shanties that he won’t remove from the streets.

But at least with crime on the streets and subway Adams is not wholly in denial, since he has desperately resorted to keeping nearly 5,000 cops on payroll that did not comply with the vaccine extortion mandate. Although he should have thought of that when he and that slob Health Commissioner spared Kyrie Irving of getting jabbed so he and the Brooklyn Nets could get their asses kicked and swept by the Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs. But the Mayor still has to majorly tone down his proclivity for embellishment and his monumental delusions of grandeur. For now they have reached such new levels of absurdity that even comedian John Mulaney hilariously goofed on Adams for still maintaining his belief that people are cooking BBQ’s in train stations and how his own goofy takes are undermining his agenda to improve NYC. Of course since Adams is megalomaniac, he only saw Mulaney’s comedic criticism as another one of the 30 million opinions New Yorkers have and blew it off, leading the mayor to again claim that God created him to save us all.

It takes a lot of swagger to thank God for your own existence even after months of failure and votes of no confidence from the constituency. It mostly shows a lot of denial is the root cause of all that swagger he yearns to bring back to NYC. Adams devolution to self-parody has become faster than a speeding stray bullet.

Manhattan

In Times Square, a man got swarmed by a gang of men and teenagers after he got into an argument with three of them while waiting on line at a food truck and then they proceeded to brutally lynch him and stab him a bunch of times while he helplessly laid on the pavement.

Also in Times Square, tires were slashed on parked cars near an FDNY station, on cars belonging to secret service agents protecting Trump tower in Midtown and over 20 of them parked on two different streets in Chelsea.

Again in Times Square, a man argued with and then attacked a food vendor and smashed a milk crate over his head and then grabbed a traffic safety cone and threw it at him.

And again in Times Square, a man bum-rushed the median police station while holding a baseball bat and then leapt over the counter and sat down. Then he swung the bat at the cops who were trying to remove him and wound up getting swarmed and beaten down with a billy clubs. A cop friendly fired mace at another cop during the ruckus.

On the Manhattan Bridge, a man shot a commuter to death at point blank range on the Q train for allegedly no reason right before it pulled into the Canal St. Station where the killer exited and gave the murder weapon to a homeless man and ran out into the streets. The homeless man, who usually loiters at the station panhandling sold the gun to a stranger. The accused killer then bought new clothes and a backpack to throw off his trail. The stranger(probably a cop because the homeless man never got paid) then handed the gun to a NYPD detective who was investigating the homicide, the fourth one committed in the subway this year. Then the cops swarmed on the homeless man and cuffed him for trespassing.

The victim of this random act of senseless gun violence was going to meet his friends to have brunch and couldn’t afford to use the price gouging app-hail car service, so he saved nearly 80 dollars to take the subway, basically risking his life just to spend $2.75. His family and the man’s partner expressed dismay and disdain for Mayor Adams and the city’s justice system which they believe have exacerbated the lack of safety in the New York City transit system.

The alleged and accused killer, who had multiple prior arrests, desired to turn himself in with the assistance of a pastor with with close ties to Mayor Adams, but Mr. Swagger thought otherwise and sent the cops to the Legal Aid Society offices where he was meeting with his counsel (which was also a bad idea even if the mayor arresting a person himself would have been weird and set damaging legal precedents for future officials). The “holy man” tried to urge negotiations for the suspects surrender served time grand larceny  and identity theft for pilfering $2,000,000 from investors for illegitimate youth programs and charity work.

The victim worked for Goldman Sachs as a research analyst where his co-workers griped and joked about the inherent danger of taking the subway in these times and wondered if their lame DJ executive boss and his pampered higher-ups at the vampire squid bank would do the same.

The accused killer was recently released without bail after he got arrested for stealing a car because the judge liked that the fact that he showed up to his court house on time. And maybe the fact that the city is trying to induce people to stop driving cars and letting people out for stealing them is a good way to do that.

And as Det. Columbo said there is one more thing, the cops deployed to the station initially let the suspect go as he fled from the Canal St. Station.

NYPD spokesman John Miller also confirmed Tuesday that cops had stopped Abdullah as he fled the station — but let him go because he had changed his appearance and did not fit the description of the shooter.

“‘Why are you stopping me?’” Miller says the accused shooter told the cop. “‘I didn’t do anything,’ and so forth. They radio back. They get the description of the black hoodie. They document the stop and there’s nothing to connect him to that.

“Later, when we get that picture that you saw yesterday you see the sweatpants, the sneakers, the hoodie and underneath it you can see this orange or red shirt,” he said. “And the transit officer looked at that and says, ‘That’s got to be the guy I stopped.’”

The NYPD better hope this is the right guy. Especially now that he’s finally incarcerated.

Only one of the goons got pinched by the cops.

Also in Inwood, the fire pumps at a train yard are tapped dry and it’s been determined to be more vulnerable to blazes, accidental and intentional.

This made international news.

Mayor Eric Adams favorite credo “NYC has 8 million people with 30 million opinions, but there’s only one mayor” got the biggest opinion of him he’s got so far when one of the 8 million showed one opinion about him projecting on a wall on the Verizon office and transmitter building in downtown Manhattan and he can’t really shake it off like he usually does with the crimes continuing massive rise in all major felony and misdemeanor categories.

For all the shitlib talk and consternation about Mayor Adams’s reverting to Giuliani’s broken windows policing tactics that lowered crime in the 90’s, the policy hasn’t done much to put fear into petty and recidivist criminals and the gangbangers to get them to keep their collective noses clean. And why would they be intimidated by a former cop mayor who has become so obsessed with starfucking he is willing to vibe out next to a model drunk off her ass at an exclusive party run by a too big to fail big bank at a bland new tower in Midtown?

At least it looks like the revival (and rebranding) of the anti-crime gun removal NYPD units has made an impact with shootings and murders on a slight down trend but they are still happening with more frequency compared to pre-pandemic times three years ago and even a decade ago.

Sadly, Mayor Adams ramping up deployment of cops to the transit system has led to disappointing results. Random and intentional assaults and muggings are regular occurrences in subway and commuter complaints of barely seeing a police presence on the platforms and trains are more frequent. The latter was evident when a man pulled off an act of domestic terrorism on the N train during rush hour and Mayor Adams response to it was dreadfully delayed by getting suddenly stricken with COVID-19 (or suspiciously stricken to avoid press scrutiny). After that incident, Adams double ramped up NYPD deployment on mass transit but felonious crimes and even shootings continued to happen on the trains days after Frank James made a mockery of the mayor’s policing tactics.

Despite a total overhaul of leadership to run Rikers Island with a commissioner who shares Mayor Adams proclivity for hiring cronies, rampant violence and death continue to persist in the few buildings left that are housing inmates. Recently appointed SDNY D.A. noticed the continued obfuscations going on and immediately put the Adams and D.O.C. Commissioner on notice to come up with a plan or they will be taken over by a federal receiver. Mayor Adams reacted to this by crassly claiming that he’s the right man to fix Rikers because he’s Black despite his shady machinations to undermine the environment and perpetual culture of violence and corruption on the island that led to the D.A.’s decision which was way overdue after de Blasio let Rikers rot for nearly a decade and worsen conditions there as the city planned to build four more tower jails to close the prison island complex.

Mayor Adams ended the first month of this violent spring in NYC by holding a summit with every precinct commander about the stubborn rise in major crimes, which the NYPD high brass actually do in their COMPSTAT meetings at the end of the month. The distinction being that Adams wanted to discuss the sweeps of homeless encampments and shuttling of homeless people to shelters which have also failed to garner results since barely a fraction of the indigent accepted to go to them and also to oddly defend commissioner Sewell (or maybe his choice to make her commissioner). Like the recidivist criminals on the streets, cops of all stripes reacted to the two hour convention like the joke it was and since journalists were suppressed from attending this hearing, this was clearly just another media and optics diversion by Adams and his media managing minions for the self-proclaimed general and shepherd to project leadership and swagger as a deflection from the fact that he’s been anything but a leader to bring down crime like he promised when he ran for mayor at this point of time last year. He didn’t even feature this crime summit in his weekly self-aggrandizing b-roll video of his mayoral “accomplishments”

Today’s menaces of society are having a hearty laugh right now.

Queens

In Forest Hills, a man murdered a woman in her house, stabbing her over 50 times after he broke into her home with a key that was left in the backyard. He waited for her when she came home from a night in Manhattan with friends and a nightcap in a nearby bar by Austin St and slaughtered her following a fight they had after she demanded he get out of her house after she let him inside. The man stuffed her butchered body into a hockey duffle bag belonging to her youngest son and rolled it a quarter mile and dumped it on the sidewalk by a highway entrance near Forest Park where it was found early in the morning by a woman jogging by. Then the man sent a threat via text to her husband and  ran to his home in South Richmond Hill to hide from the cops.

After finding the woman’s body on the grass, NYPD CSI traced blood all the way back to the victim’s house and cops startling interrogated the 13-year-old boy, who was sleeping upstairs in his bedroom as the bloody slaughter took place, treating him like the main suspect and slapped the cuffs on him. The man had a two year love affair with his victim and while working at her and her husband’s house as their handyman after installing air conditioning units for them and gruesomely butchered her following a fight between them when she was trying to break up with him. Although he now claims that he wanted to confront her because he thought she gave him HIV during their sexual dalliances together.

Asked about the ghoulish murder that has dominated headlines and struck fear into the residents of the town, Mayor Eric Adams feigned indifference claiming he wasn’t cognizant of the incident with a tone conveying he didn’t give a shit about it.

Also in Forest Hills, a brawl in front of a nite club escalated when some hardhead pulled out a gun and shot the bouncer.

A suspect of the slaying is a man who usually goes to the Chinese restaurant where the victim worked and regularly gave his fellow workers there a hard time like over petty shit like the amount of duck sauce he wanted and on other occasions threatened them with a gun and damaged their cars, notably slashing the tires of the owner’s vehicle. The murder victim last wrestled with the hangry customer and took his photo and the NYPD still did nothing substantial to address their plight until it was too late.

And again in Forest Hills, two men on a moped got robbed at gunpoint on the street hours after that delivery worker got murdered on the north side of town nearby. One of them was a delivery worker who was driving. An indication that the homicide may have been a robbery attempt and might have nothing to do with the customer the late victim grappled with.

In South Richmond Hill, a 70-year-old man got sucker punched by a man while he was walking to a temple on a quiet street in the morning light and wound up lying bloodied on the sidewalk.

A few of the goons caught one of his friends trying to flee and beat him in the middle of the street and then they made off with their mark’s motor scooter, cellphone and his backpack. Even though it’s one of the biggest transit hubs in Queens and months after Mayor Adams and Governor Hochul declared more public safety measures and a bigger police presence would be on the transit system and it happened during the fucking evening rush hour, there were no cops to be found at the station to stop the ruckus and homicide. The late victim was planning on leaving New York City because it got too dangerous for him.

The Ballad Of Frank James

Frank James had had enough

New York, New York

Two weeks ago, a lonely and angry man took the morning Manhattan bound rush hour N train from southwest Brooklyn. He came on board dressed for safety measures wearing a helmet and  MTA safety vest and lugging a hand rolling cart filled with firecrackers and smoke bombs. In between stations, this man was muttering to himself and started fumbling with the cart’s contents, then he put on a gas mask and ignited two smoke bombs and pulled out a 9mm gun and shot 33 rounds at his fellow commuters. During the fusillade he managed to hit 10 of them as 19 other people sustained injuries while trying to flee into the next car. Shockingly and luckily no one died from the incident, only because the man’s gun jammed and also because he wasn’t aiming for vital organs.

Like something from the beginning of an action movie or t.v. show, the man walked away from the chaos he caused after dumping the gear he was wearing and the cart in the train, then walked past people lying injured and bleeding on the 36th St. Station platform, past commuters fleeing for safety and walked across to the arriving R train and got off that train at the next station. Then he took a stroll to nearby Park Slope where he got on a bus to transfer to an F train station and got off in the Lower East Side while eluding hundreds of cops and FBI agents deployed to the scene of the crime.

Once the NYPD and the legacy local news media identified the shooter as Frank James, he was roaming around Brooklyn and Manhattan for over 30 hours until he got to his last destination in the East Village, where he stopped at a couple of high end restaurants and walked around and rested on a bench by a restaurant shanty in plain sight, all while the NYPD were in a frantic search to find him. When James went into a McDonalds on 1st Avenue, a man working at a shop next door recognized him and call the cops to pick him up and they finally collar him (it also turned out that there were four other witnesses who made reported calls, which also included James).

There hasn’t been much of a follow up about what motivated Frank James to start blasting people. In fact, we would know a lot more because he had a youtube channel with videos of him ranting about the rising crime and dysfunctional lack of public services that has turned NYC into its current dystopian state. In other words, James gripes mostly jibed with a vast majority of opinions of New Yorkers (according to Mayor Adams, who guesstimates this amount to 30 million every time he gets asked a question) including yours truly of this blog your reading here. But we will never ever know because youtube abolished his channel and banned his videos from public view (Although the NYPD actually could have that footage to use against him during his trial).

The last time a man committed a mass shooting on a New York transit line was when Colin Ferguson shot up a LIRR train also with an semi-automatic handgun and killed six people and maimed 19 others and during the morning rush.  The distinction about is not this that James didn’t kill anyone or that he was not of sound mind when he maimed his fellow commuters like Ferguson, but with the predominance of social media and networking, his motives were out there for all to see and his vulgar and racist social media disturbingly had validity to them which served as a portent for his own mass shooting in regards the myriad crises that are dominating New York City society. In a way, this actually resembles the Bernard Goetz shooting of four Black men back in 1984 when he decided to pack heat because of the relentless crime wave during the worst era of the bad old days. It even bears an unsettling resemblance to the cult horror classic movie “God Told Me Too”, where people also engaged in mass shootings and responded by getting their orders by man who lives in the clouds. This also was recently revealed by current Mayor Eric Adams who claimed that God told him to run for mayor(funny I thought it was Real Estate Board of New York who told him to).

Another aspect from the mass shooting is that the Bernie Goetz of the New Bad Days probably did it to become a viral sensation by manifesting his bloody fantasies. But what he actually did do was expose the kakistocracy that has overwhelmed NYC municipal services, the NYPD and the mass transit system as well. Because what pushed Frank James over the edge derived from the dearth in mental health services which Bill de Blasio and his tax boondoggle wife laundered a billion dollars from that still hasn’t been accounted for and the homeless service providers that James felt short changed him and left him despaired, anguished and furious. Plus it was recently exposed that one of the non-profit service providers James went to is a million and a half dollars in the red as it’s top executives continue to make six figure salaries. If James found out that the city has dedicated more funding for mental health services to nite club owners and their big spending patrons, he probably would have aimed higher.

There’s another disturbing aspect about James’ senseless hate-filled attack; the fact that he knew he could pull it off and with ease, despite his mishaps. Because the reason why James was able to trudge around two boroughs for a day and a half is that the cameras at the two stations were he got on and got off malfunctioned and the NYPD didn’t get a good description of him. At first James was described as being just 5 and a half feet tall instead of the over 6 ft. man that wound up plastered on cellphone screen social media apps, which enabled him to walk in public in plain sight as cops and federal agents headed to his crime scene. The NYPD claimed they didn’t have his description because the fiber optic cables didn’t transmit the footage fast enough.

The MTA’s own ass covering for this deficiency being that those Sunset Park station cameras happened to be the only ones that were out of service even though the other 10,000 that are in the transit system were working just fine that day. If only there was something the transit system bosses could have done to make sure those cameras were still working, like allocating money to keep them running 24/7/365 instead of pissing it away on marketing and advertising their minimally used OMNY pay and travel ads…

It’s laughingly ironic that the MTA would spend more expense and effort for these promotional gimmicks to be seen than for people behaving suspiciously. But this is the worst fucking transit system in the universe with a top brass that thinks it’s normal to keep a paper transit map up after putting up a digital screen map right next to it.

Frank James also made a mockery of N.Y.’s finest, who are collectively suffering an horrendous year as felonious crimes collectively rise nearly 50%.  Like when NYPD Commissioner Sewell praised her officers for tracking him down, it turned out James actually called the cops himself and told him where he was going to be, which Frank gleefully scoffed at them during his arrest by asking them what took them so long.

Mayor Adams was spared the embarrassment of this indignity mostly because he was holed up in Gracie Mansion with COVID-19 with a “rasbie” throat (his mangled words not mine). But still, James made Adams look like an idiot even more since he was able to smuggle a gun and ordinance into the transit system when three weeks earlier the Mayor and Governor Kathy “Clown” Hochul announced new units of extra cops and health professionals (basically subway orderlies) to be deployed to the stations to prevent criminal behavior, stop criminals and aid mentally disturbed folks. Then Mayor Adams proceeded to make an idiot out of himself by blaming social media for allowing him to post his vitriolic uploaded videos and posts on their platforms, even after they already deplatformed them. Even though the NYPD counter terrorism squad already has a unit to monitor terror threats domestic and international and used it very diligently tracking protesters during 2020’s Black Lives Matter protests. Too bad this dedication wasn’t present when Frank James mimicked a mass shooting attack on a subway train and promoting extreme measures and final solutions for his targets of indignation and frustration.

Another thing Frank James mass shooting exposed was obnoxious preening by the city’s fauxgressive establishment Democrat elected officials making dickhead self-promoting photo ops feigning to project strength while pathetically trying to muster inspiration for people to continue to use the subway and stay put in the city that is getting less safer every day.

It didn’t take that long for media’s interest in the subway mass shooting to vaporize, because “regular” shootings on the city streets continued to escalate, there were 15 shootings just days after his arrest and there was also a gory fatal attraction murder in Forest Hills that took over the news. But leave it Frank Adams to also make a gory mockery of Mayor Adams continuing failure to prevent gun violence by waiting months to get the NYPD anti-gun units out on the streets following rebranding them as “neighborhood safety teams” and making sure they get re-educated on constitutional rights for future stops and seizures. Which is something they should have learned in school and been reeducated during their academy training when stop and frisk was determined unconstitutional by a judge five years ago. It should also be pointed out that Frank James used a registered gun and not a ghost gun, the latter which is getting the most media attention and has become the weapon of choice on the streets.

So Frank James’ arraignment went down without even much of a peep or even a followup, which doesn’t provide any closure for his victims, one of whom lost the feeling in his legs and lost his job or genuine security for millions of commuters still wary of taking the subway again, but it’s provided solace and security for the kakistocracy that continues to fuck up New York City.

In his first minutes as Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams immediately erased the stain of his elitist predecessor Bill de Blasio by taking the train to Manhattan and fulfilled his promise to be a proactive mayor by doing his duty as a public servant and citizen by witnessing an assault on the street occur and reporting it to emergency services. Riding alone with the press in the presence of regular commuters and a derelict taking up a bench on the J train, Adams stressed how he was going to bring back public safety to the city that has seen the largest rise in crimes in years, over 100,000 total reported offenses, notably murders which came close to hitting 500. Adams enthusiasm was palpable and after having a round table meeting with his staffers in City Hall, it was an auspicious debut for the new mayor, which conveyed some hope in the bleakness of the New Bad Days era that has infected the five boroughs in the last decade.

But Mayor Adams honeymoon and momentum got cockblocked by also recently elected Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Bragg, on his third day on the job, wrote and dispensed a memo to his prosecutors to lessen the severity of charges for crimes where a gun or a knife is used and also for home invasion burglaries would be reduced to larcenies, which combined with the asinine bail reform laws instituted 2 years ago, would have led to less prison time or none at all. The logic behind this basically says that as long as you don’t kill or cripple anyone physically, then it’s not worth the punishment for imprisonment, regardless of the financial and traumatic effects that is placed on the innocent victim.

While Mayor Adams had nothing but diplomatic praise for the new D.A.. New, glass ceiling breaking NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell was having none of it, seeing that the leniency being meted out by the arrogant Bragg was counterproductive and predicted an exacerbation and escalation of the crimes his memo marginalized and would leave cops less able to make arrests and leave them vulnerable to violent attacks which would make the streets less safer for the citizenry as a whole.

The blowback from that memo would lead to one of the rough and bloody first month for Adams and for any new mayor that’s ever been seen in New York City.

Your city.

Manhattan

In East Harlem, on day one of retired NYPD police captain’s Eric Adams mayoralty, a cop working two shifts during a holiday for most people got shot in the head from a stray bullet while taking a nap in his car at his precinct’s parking lot.

Compelling the new mayor to condemn the perpetrator(s) of this shooting:

“This is not going to be a city of disorder, this is not going to be a city of violence. This city is returning from the violent past to a place that is safe to raise our children and families.”

The perps involved are still on the loose.

Also in East Harlem, a man walked into a Burger King and pistol whipped a customer, punched the restaurant manager and then held up a cashier at gunpoint. She opened up the register and gave the man $100. After he looked at the money, he turned around and shot her to death and then ran away. The young woman he murdered was trying to change shifts to the afternoon because she was already fearful to walk the streets where she lived at night after only three weeks working the graveyard shift at the restaurant, fears that were corroborated by a good friend of hers. The victim’s mother, who also works at another fast food restaurant, also tried to persuade the manager to move her hours earlier. The victim was planning to go to nursing school with the money she was earning while helping her mother pay the rent and the bills.

The killer got caught by the cops five days later. He is undocumented immigrant and homeless and was dwelling in a hotel homeless shelter in Jamaica where he threatened another person with a screwdriver a month earlier and was once an employee of the same fast food restaurant where he murdered Krystal Baron-Nieves in cold blood, which is probably why he wasn’t content with the money he robbed and decided to kill her.

The community let him have it during his transfer from the precinct to the courthouse, which didn’t faze him and he reveled in as he cursed them out and yelled about historic oppression of Black people.

Again in East Harlem, a man got into an argument with a group of men inside a car, then they all came out and one of them sneaked up behind him and stabbed him in the neck after he kicked the vehicle. Then the man bled out on the sidewalk staggering by passerby and collapsed and died on the pavement.

And again in East Harlem, a man shot another man to death on the sidewalk in broad daylight.

And again in East Harlem, a woman was left for dead and her baby daughter was left to starve and lie her own feces and urine beside her mother’s body at a homeless shelter for a week by the Department of Homeless Services.  And the municipal agency sat on this negligent and gruesome death and malfeasance for over 7 months. The ass covering obfuscation of this tragedy was the most likely under the orders of former abomination mayor de Blasio.

In Harlem, a man shot and killed two cops with a fusillade of bullets from his bedroom inside his mother’s apartment using an automatic weapon with a drum barrel cartridge. A back up cop shot him down as he was trying to flee the premises. The cops were there to respond to a domestic disturbance call where the son was arguing with his mother  about her not wanting to eat vegan food. The mother who made the 911 call did not mention her son was armed.

Officer Jason Rivera, a rookie cop who recently married his childhood sweetheart, was killed instantly. Officer Wilbert Mora, who had a bullet lodged in his brain, died from his wounds four days later following two surgeries. Their killer, who had multiple priors and served time in two other states and just moved to Harlem only months ago while still on probation, died from his wounds.

Jason Rivera just got finished training and was only on the job for a few months, he joined the NYPD to bridge the cap between the police and communities and wanted to bring fundamental change to the force as well even after a bad experience dealing with them as a youth.

Also in Harlem at the 125th St. Station, a man stabbed a woman on her leg on the platform to settle and argument they were having.

Again in Harlem, a man slugged his son and knocked him on the floor inside a restaurant.

And again in Harlem, two men chased down two other men on the street and then one of them pulled out a gun during the pursuit and shot one of them to death after a drug deal gone bad.

In Times Square, a man cursed out a homeless woman who asked him for change in front of a chain pharmacy, then got beat down to the pavement and stabbed and robbed his ipad and $340 by her and her boyfriend the minute he stepped out of the store. Passerby walked by and gawked and then the dirty duo fled into the subway without paying the fare.

Also in Times Square at the 42nd St. Station during the morning rush, a homeless man pushed a woman off the platform as the R train arrived, killing her instantly. Just moments before he murdered her, he tried to push another woman onto the tracks, but she saw him and instinctively moved away from him.

Following his arrest and after his procession, the man bragged about his killing, accused the woman he murdered of stealing his jacket and claimed he was God. Michelle Go worked as a volunteer to help the homeless for a non-profit organization that was being financed the titan consultant agency corporation that she was also employed by.

The day after her horrific death, Mayor Adams and transit authorities did a press briefing at that station and declared that subways are still safe and how that killing and other random violent incidents that have occurred in the subway was all based on the perception of fear, which was a common and incorrect talking point uttered repetitiously by the last mayor Bill de Blasio. And it’s still tremendously wrong coming from Adams’ mouth as evidenced by decreasing ridership and the still glaring lack of services for mentally ill homeless people.

Realizing how invalid his take was ( which was possibly was relayed to him by his economic advisors and meathead urbanish influencers), Mayor Adams retracted his statement and acknowledged the legitimate fear that his constituents have for returning to the subway. Even though he ran and won the mayor’s election promising and emphasized on his first commute to the office to bring down crime on the transit system. Funny how perception suddenly changes, although maybe if Adams wasn’t fucking around networking with the two shittiest mayors in America, maybe his perception would have been more precise.

But nothing could be worse than the perception by his very own NYPD, because there were two cops deployed at the station where Martial Simon shoved Ms. Go to her demise, but we’re all the way on the other end of the platform. They also somehow missed the other woman Simon tried to assault.

“We had a robust plan for this station today. We had six officers assigned to it. There were two officers on the southbound platform to the southern end when this incident occurred,” Assistant NYPD Chief Kathleen O’Reilly said.

“Unfortunately these incidents do occur. They’re rare but this one is very harrowing and disturbing,” she said.

Real robust, a mentally ill man menacing a woman and cops seem to be slacking off. And it looks like Adams not only is feigning to sympathize with his constituents concerns, he is also getting his insouciant subway violence data from Chief O’Riley as well.

Again in Times Square, dozens of people defying former mayor Bill de Blasio’s vaccine mandate in protest attempted to eat at  shitty chain movie theme restaurant and a robust deployment of cops came to enforce it under  Dave Chokshi’s orders and arrested eight of them, including a wheelchair dependent woman with D.S. syndrome.

Get them my pretties

And again in Times Square at the 42nd St. Station, a 17-year-old boy got busted with a loaded gun after he got into a fight with a commuter and flashed his piece at him on the platform.

In Midtown, a man saw a homeless man sleeping against a wall of an office building and placed his own coat on him to keep him warm, then the homeless man pounced and beat him down to the pavement and stole his wallet and fled.

Cops on the beat nearby immediately caught the thief and arrested him and was found with $1,500 in his pocket. The man was just released with only a desk appearance ticket from a similar possum playing mugging of a woman four days earlier when a woman tried to help him and he beat her down as well. He also randomly attacked a young couple in Central Park for no reason on the second day of 2022. His attorney demanded he be released because his violent criminal act doesn’t warrant jail time according to Manhattan D.A. Bragg’s memo.

Also in Midtown, a man jacked a lux SUV off another man with a broken taser in front of an office building in broad daylight and drove the wrong way and smashed into unmarked patrol car to make his getaway as a cop tried in vain to get him out of the drivers seat. Then he ditched the vehicle after crashing it into a bioswale by the bike lane, fled into the subway and took the train home. Or somewhere else for his next criminal act.

Again in Midtown, a man jacked an app-hail driver’s car by sticking him up with a box cutter. Including the aforementioned one uptown, this was the 20th carjacking this year following a 55% rise last year with 510 reported by the NYPD.

And again in Midtown, a chain pharmacy that’s been in the neighborhood for over 2 decades went out of business because of the persistent shoplifting that’s been happening in the last year and a half.

And again in Midtown, a man got nabbed with a loaded gun inside the Port Authority Station, another man got arrested for possessing a loaded 9 mm around the corner from the Midtown South NYPD pct..

And again in Midtown at the 50th St. Station, a lunatic threw a microwave oven in front of an arriving E train, which the engineer stopped it in nick of time.

In Washington Heights, a man got shot to death in the lobby of his apartment building where he was trying to keep drug dealers out. Three men are suspected of his murder.

In Hell’s Kitchen, two men punched a woman and stole her purse in front of John Jay College, where criminal justice and criminology is taught.

Also in Hell’s Kitchen, a man shot another man in his SUV following an argument over a parking space.

Again in Hell’s Kitchen, a man stabbed another man to death during a fight at a rooftop bar at a luxury hotel. The victim was recently released on bail for a murder of a Bronx DJ two years ago.

And again in Hell’s Kitchen, men with large nets are poaching pigeons off the streets and putting them in vans to drive upstate to be used for rifle target practice.

And again in Hell’s Kitchen, a woman committed suicide by jumping from her window onto the street below from a 60 story luxury tower. The woman was a national beauty pageant winner and entertainment news correspondent suffering from depression and self-doubt. Looks like even the city’s THRIVE program that former Mayor de Blasio made a municipal office and service failed the upper class as well.

In Penn Station, a mentally ill homeless man was jerking off on a street corner next to a couple, then slashed the man on the hand with a razor when he told him to stop flogging his dolphin by his wife.

Also in Penn Station at the 34th St. Station, a man slashed a 17-year-old boy on the face with scissors for no reason on the A train platform.

In Central Park, a decomposed corpse of a man was found lying in a tent in the bushes nearby the Met Museum by a jogger and not the NYC Parks Police, which has been defunded without much attention from the media.

In the East Village, a sharp dressed man held up a smoke shop at gun point and robbed 700 bucks from the register and bounced.

Also in the East Village, a man expecting food that he ordered from his app got shot to death by a man impersonating a deliverista, who blasted him through the door. Somehow, the hitman knew he was ordering takeout.

Again in the East Village, a 13-year-old boy set a stationary store on fire. But for some reason, he wound up in the custody of the FDNY instead of the NYPD. The boy’s name is not identified nor is the motive for the arson he committed that destroyed a long time small business.

In the Lower East Side, a man and an accomplice shoplifted over $2,000 of cold medicine and other products from a chain pharmacy and stuck a knife at the store manager who tried to stop them. Then the man came back later in the afternoon and looted more cough medicine, but got caught by the cops and arrested and arraigned for the robbery and the weapon. But D.A. Bragg’s memo induced the judge to release the lucky punk on a petit larceny misdemeanor instead of felony robbery. Said lucky punk didn’t show up for his court date either.

Also in the Lower East Side at the East Broadway Station, a man stabbed another man in the ass as he was going through the turnstile.

Again in the Lower East Side, a man shot his roommate in the stomach to settle a domestic dispute inside their apartment at a public housing building.

In Chelsea, a man shoplifting myriad products from a department store threatened a security guard with scissors who tried to stop him from jetting. The cop who collared the thief was stunned to find the assistant’s D.A.’s report had extracted the mentioning of the perp’s use of scissors. The perp, who last two priors were hold up robberies, was released without bail.

Also in Chelsea, at the 28th St. Station, a man whipped out his johnson and jerked off by the token booth, mortifying the transit clerk.

Again in Chelsea, a man and a woman got into an argument over money on the sidewalk and then Rudy Giuliani’s son intervened and broke up the fight right when the man was about to chuck a flower pot at her but hit the gubernatorial candidate on his noggin instead.

And again in Chelsea at the 23rd St. Station, a bigoted woman yelled a slur at a man and blamed him for spreading covid before pushing him to the floor.

And again in Chelsea at the 18th St. Station, a rolling luggage cart and a shopping cart were set on fire on the 1 train in two consecutive days and a man tried to immolate himself at the 23rd St. Station on the same line a day before. And people think public masturbation and racist graffiti on the trains is bad.

In the Upper East Side at the 96th St. Station, a man slashed a commuter in the face on the 6 train and got off and ran away into the tunnel.

Also in the Upper East Side, a man knocked an 81-year-old man to the pavement when he walked past him on the sidewalk.

Again in the Upper East Side, a woman got killed trying to cross the street when a woman hit her with her car and didn’t yield. The driver got off with a desk appearance ticket.

And again in the Upper East Side, a man shoplifted items from a chain pharmacy and walked passed a guard and a professional actor who was yelling about what he witnessed on his celly. Turned out the store was closing in a week anyway because of rampant thievery and no policing.

And again in the Upper East Side, a manager of a grocery store that has seen it’s own rash of thefts got spit in the face by a man who he caught shoplifting cases of beer.

And again in the Upper East Side, a gang of four boys roughed up a 12-year-old boy at a park and stole his airpods. But the cops caught them hanging out at a cafe and arrested them when they used the victim’s celly to track the pods.

In the Upper West Side, a homeless woman committed suicide when she lied down on the street in front of a van as the driver was making a turn.

Also in the Upper West Side, an off-duty cop working as a security guard at a chain pharmacy store kicked two men who were brawling with each other outside. As the fight continued, one of the men stabbed the other and then he tried to stab the cop but wound up getting shot twice.

Again in the Upper West Side, a man stabbed another man in the stomach on the sidewalk underneath building scaffolding.

And again in the Upper West Side at the 72nd St. Station, a man brought a shopping cart full of cases and six packs of beer and loaded it on the express 2 train.

And again on the Upper West Side, four adults and one child were kicked out of the American Museum of Natural History and arrested for not having de Blasio’s and Chokshi’s Key To NYC vaccine passports to show that they were protected from COVID-19. About 20 cops were deployed to make these absurdly dystopian arrests.

What’s truly deranged about these collars is that part of D.A. Bragg’s memo states that trespassing should not be prosecuted if there isn’t harm involved and yet the NYPD is violating that and also the Constitution

Also in the Upper West Side and Washington Heights, three fires were set by debris left on the tracks of three train stations, adding to the rise of “smoke conditions” in the subway in the last year.

In Union Square, cops caught a man grabbing a woman’s ass in the subway and found that he was wanted for pushing a man onto the tracks at the 21st Ave./Queensbridge Station last May following being sprung without bail on a gun possession charge only a few days before the random attack.

Also in Union Square, a clothing store that’s been in the area since the 80’s was looted by gangs twice in a week and both times cops who were deployed there told the owners that there wasn’t much they could do if they arrested anyone involved in the thieving mobs because of the policy failure bail reform law instituted by the Albany State House 2 years ago.

Again in Union Square, a man attempted to pick up a woman at a park and when she tried to avoid him, he stalked her and cursed her out and threatened to stab her.

@shamsiaaaa

It started when I was sitting and minding my buisness he kept looking. He then asked me “ma’am are you okay?” And I said who me? #fypシ

In Soho, five men pulled off a smash and grab at a luxury designer store and robbed over $48,000 of merchandise after they beat down the security guard.

In Downtown Manhattan at the Fulton St. Station, a man randomly pushed a 61-year-old man onto to the A/C train tracks.

Also in Downtown Manhattan, 15 prosecutors quit their jobs and walked out of the Criminal Court building, in defiance of the arrogance of Alvin Bragg and his dumbass memo.

A woman who lived in an apartment at the Queensbridge Houses committed suicide by jumping into the East River and her body washed up on Governor’s Island.

In Hamilton Heights at the 145 St. Station, two men and a woman surrounded a commuter on the platform and one of them punched him the face and they robbed his phone and 20 bucks.

Over 50 deaths occurred on the tracks of the NYC Transit system last year. It’s probably over 70 now since they didn’t count the months from September to December when chaos on the subway escalated like heroin abuse, where junkies are shooting up on the platforms and throwing their needles on the tracks.

A woman making a video for her social media account yelled out her window and was rightly told to fuck off by a bike rider.

Bronx

In Bedford Park, a man shot another man while chasing him on the sidewalk and a stray bullet in an 11-month old girl in the face. The baby spent her first birthday on the operating table and recuperating from her wound.

In Belmont, a man shot another man to death in the hallway of a public housing building. The same building that went on fire weeks later.

Also in Belmont, an NYPD public safety unit to procure guns off the streets approached a gang hanging out in front of an apartment building and a 16-year-old rap star got into an argument and then a tussle with one of the cops and then the gun he was possessing went off and shot himself in the groin and also shot the cop in the leg. The rapper is signed to music label run by Dr. Dre and Tom Petty’s long time producer and had a prior gun possession arrest when he got caught with a semi-auto when he was 14. He was able to easily “decarcerate” himself from the attempted murder charge and pay the $200,000 bail with the money he got from his major label contract, but got arrested again because he was already on probation for his last gun offense and is back in a juvenile correctional facility.

A portrait of the artist and his incriminating work.

In Morrisania, a woman fell down the stairs and wound up in a coma trying to catch an elevator that wouldn’t stop on the floor where she lives in an apartment building at the Webster Houses, after she filed complaints to NYCHA for months yet the agency still cleared each inspection ticket.

Also in Morrisania, an off-duty fireman choked his girlfriend during a domestic dispute at her apartment.

In Pelham Bay, a man torched a police car with a molotov cocktail in front of the precinct after he was released on a desk appearance ticket.

In Fordham Heights, a space heater left on for days malfunctioned and caught fire and spread throughout an apartment inside a Mitchell-Lama residential building which spread to other units and caused the fire and smoke to reached all the way to the higher floors through the stairs. The 5-alarm blaze injured 60 residents and killed 17 people, 8 of them children who died from smoke inhalation and left dozens of tenants homeless. The 200 strong FDNY was able to battle the inferno despite not having enough oxygen and less personnel in their engine and ladder stations because of the Omicron contagion (and the unspoken of vaccine extortion mandate being administered by designated NYC Health Commissioner Dave Chokshi)

Besides the space heater, the other cause of the fire’s spread was because of a door that was left open, which the FDNY and Mayor Adams initially implied fault towards the tenants for not taking precaution, but it turned out that the doors were already faulty and didn’t self close despite an inspection by the D.O.B. that reported it as functional back in July.

The real affordable housing building, which had a long list of violations for years, is owned and managed by a LLC consortium of three venture capital firms which includes real estate developer who’s the son of a major connected developer of most of the luxury public housing apartments that were built during the de Blasio era of iniquity inequity and whose partner was one of the 750 advisors on Mayor Adams transition apparatus who happened to be on the list to advise him on housing issues.

Also in Fordham Heights at the Fordham Road Station, a drunk man carrying a gun got into a brawl with a gang of 12 teenagers on the platform and then they beat him up and caused him to fall onto to the tracks during the brawl. The man he tried to rescue survived. Two young men turned themselves in and were charged with murder.

Again in Fordham Heights, an apartment building went on fire that was set off by an ebike that exploded in the restaurant on the ground floor where numerous ebikes were being charged at once.

In Morris Park, a man got into an argument with a patient at a hospital and then took out his gun and shot at him in the waiting room by the ER. The gangbanger was there visiting a friend who was being held and treated there following an arrest and was eventually collared by the cops because the fool signed his name on the nurse’s manifest log.

This hospital has seen 4 other shootings inside the building in the last year and now the citizenry of New York City is hearing about it.

This crime scene was like a Beavis And Butthead episode shot in the Boogie Down.

In Grand Concourse, a woman smacked a laundromat worker with a bottle and slashed her arm after having a dispute over an inoperable dryer.

Also in Grand Concourse, a gang of five men go into a bodega and one of them stabs a worker multiple times as he was about to stock up the fridge with beer and the other four rush behind the counter and pistol whip and beat down the cashier and stole all the cash that was sticking out of the register that was left open.

Again in Grand Concourse, a postman caught a man grabbing a delivery package from his cart but let the skell steal the rest of the mail he was carrying when the skell threatened to shoot him.

In the South Bronx, juvenile delinquents being held at a group home broke a window and weaponized the glass and brooms to hold three social workers and a C.O. sergeant hostage because they didn’t get their lunch on time and for other lack of services they were getting from the city in this junior version of Attica.

In Melrose at the Prospect Ave. and Jackson Ave. Stations, a man punched two conductors in the face and spat on one of them when they opened their windows to check the platform when their trains made their stop.

On the Hutchinson River Parkway, the Department of Transportation put up a new highway sign welcoming visitors to the Bronx by putting Queens BP Donovan Richards name on it instead of Bronx BP Vanessa Gibson. The two had a big laugh about it and spent the day antd tax payer dollars on social media roasting each other and feigning pride for their locales instead of excoriating the lazy incompetence of the DOT being run by the moronic Ydanis Rodriguez. Brooklyn BP Antonio Reynoso also joined the idiocy with comments of his own. All three confirming the utter uselessness of their redundancy elected office positions

Imbeciles.

The man wound up getting killed after turning to shoot and the cops shot him down.

A startup corporation ride share app decided to take their mopeds out of the borough because of persistent thievery.  Although they are still keeping their shitty mopeds in Brooklyn.

New Bad Days 90: The Descent Of Times Square Continues With Psycho Pushing Woman Into A Moving Train And A Man Shooting Himself While Taking A Piss At The Same Station, And A Thief Running Down And Killing A Woman While Fleeing With A Stolen Celly; Jewel Runner Gang Gets Kettled By The NYPD During Another High End Heist; Murdered Harlem Druglord Gets His Comeuppance For Past Killings And Being A Government Snitch; App Food Delivery Man Gets Murdered For His Ebike; Subway Crime Rates Rise Again With Man Shooting A Commuter For His Celly And Man Punching A Woman In The Face For Talking Back To Him; Wild West Shootings And Shootouts From Gunslinging Gangbangers Of All Ages Are Going Down Night And Day; Bagged Dead Body Found By Luxury Public Housing Development; Reckless Driving Hits New Plateaus With Hit-And-Run Killings; Pyromaniac Attempts To Torch Deli With Molotovs; Man Gets Yelled At By His Mother And Climbs A Tree; Vaccinations Cannot Stop Violence In Gold Standard Schools And The Elderly Continue To Get Preyed Upon By Desperate And Maniacal Perps

To start off chapter 90 of the New Bad Days chronicles of New York City, here is this tweet straight from some putz who works for NYC Council, trying to snarkily dispel any criticism or even palpable evidence that the city they represent is “dead”. Well it may not be dead, but it sure is bleeding, wounded and fucking more dangerous than it’s been in over 20 years (and fucking broke as well but that’s for another inevitable post) with 121 percent more shootings this month compared to October 2020, emphasized by the shooting deaths of teenagers in gun and gang violence. And all this is happening during Mayor deBacle’s recovery for all of us.

In October’s post about NYPD’s compstat index crime stats on the NYC Mayor’s website and despite how it was pathetically white washed, there were 399 murders committed in 2021 which is just 8 shy of the total for the entire year of 2020. Other crimes that have exceeded the totals of last year are rapes with 1,241, robberies with 10,822, grand larcenies with 30,768 (!!!!) and auto theft with 8,084 (the only “improvement” is the decrease in burglaries even though there were still 10,000 committed).

Keep up the snark city council cronies, because those red flags only symbolize the blood that’s spilled this month and all year long.

The perp held up another bank in Chelsea the next day but got caught and arrested by cops when he tried to take the 1 train at the 28th St. Station (but were the cops wearing masks??) and was caught with three guns in his backpack. When pressed about the continuing dystopian ultraviolence and uninhabitable environment at Rikers after photos were finally published of the deplorable conditions at the few facilities left on the island and a  new expose of women C.O.’s getting sexually assaulted by prisoners, The Blaz naturally blew them off with non sequitor talking points, deflecting his responsibility for the disintegration of order and humanity of the island prison complex, even though his idea to close it for good has turned the jails into modern day medieval dungeons; illustrating once again that he doesn’t like to be reminded of things he already knows.

The cops coaxed the man to come down by offering the man a banana. Bet they thought that was mildly amusing.

During the nearly 3 day ordeal, the NYPD deployed hundreds of cops to force him down but then coaxed the man to come down by offering the man a banana (bet they thought that was mildly amusing). But a violence interruptor organization had more success and managed to persuade the mentally disturbed man to come down.

An area resident who just happens to be a NYPD chaplain was not only utterly taken aback at the size of the NYPD’s presence and the  excessive and ludicrous resources they had to take down one man from a tree (like using drones), but also that they didn’t have a functioning unit to deal with mentally disturbed people.

Queens Chronicle:

“I’m a neighbor,” Perry, who said police turned the neighborhood upside down for three days, told the Chronicle Monday. “There was noise, banging and floodlights … if they would have called the crisis prevention program, it would never have led up to this.”

Thomas was traumatized from his time on Rikers, according to Perry. Instead of a crisis management team, nearly 50 officers were on the scene and tried to get Thomas out of the tree by bribing him with food, using bright floodlights, flying drones and banging on some drums.

“There was noise and banging and floodlights and that was never the goal,” said Perry, who has known Thomas for six years. “The goal was to get him treatment … and that could have been resolved instead of all that manpower.”

Perry, who also happens to be an NYPD chaplain, suggested to police on Oct. 6, that they should reach out to a mental health crisis prevention team, but she said her recommendation was ignored.

“If they had called them from the beginning it would never had led up to this and now he is publicly humiliated and our neighborhood is now a target for a man that was in a tree,” said Perry. “People are still coming here to take pictures and it’s embarrassing.”
