In the West Village and Greenwich Village, cops arrested 57 people who were protesting on the street as the presidential election results were being tabulated. Fires were being set on the road and in garbage cans. One woman punched a cop in the face and another woman spit in another cops face and got thrown to the ground. The NYPD also dispensed violence to citizens participating in the demonstration and again resorted to kettling demonstrators on the avenue while corralling commuters as well. Raising the chance of another rise of COVID-19 spread in the city.

Another protest organized by the Black Transgender community that began by the Stonewall Inn got tailed by a mass overdeployment of cops in riot gear and bikes as they marched their way through Washington Square to Union Square. During the march, a mentally ill homeless man attacked a lieutenant from behind and tried to strangle him with a chain. Then the NYPD began to swarm on the protesters, while bike cops aggressively and indiscriminately walled off people, one of them being Public Advocate Juaamme Williams who the cops didn’t even recognize.

A militia of bike cops assembled at Union Square across the street from a group of protesters on the other side of the street and then charged and yelled at them to move back. The cops deployed outnumbered the amount of protesters on 14th St. and their overzealous tactics trying to force people to move back up the steps of the park area  caused a 1010 WINS journalist to get almost trampled.

Mayor de Blasio’s predictably slow response to the actions of his NYPD was dripped with mealy insouciance and abject denial, despite hundreds of videos that have been distributed on social media since May 28th where his NYPD used the majority of the force and spent untold millions of dollars to dispense brutality to his constituents exercising their right to assemble and speak against unjust systemic issues still prevalent in law enforcement and the budgetary inequities to other services like education and housing to bolster them. The city fined the synagogue $15,000, amounting to $2.50 for every person that attended. de Blasio dismissed journalists questions about the city’s insouciance of the brazen clustered event by noting what a big city we live in. Following the city’s feeble slap on the wrist fine, another heavily attended post-wedding reception at a shul that flaunted pandemic protocols occurred nearby without repression by authorities thanks to de Blasio’s endorsement.

Also in In Grant City, a bar co-owner got arrested by NYC sheriffs for serving drinks and food without masks while holding a one man army protest against New York State’s pandemic protocols and COVID zone designations by declaring the property of his business as an “autonomous zone”.  After he got arrested, S.I. residents and a sect of the right-wing activist group the Proud Boys showed up with American and Blue Lives Matter flags to rally in solidarity behind the bar.

A few days after the night rally, the bar co-owner continued to defy the pandemic  guidelines and regulations. Then he got confronted by the NYC Sheriffs officers after he closed and ran away from them, got in his jeep and proceeded to run over one of the deputies and drove a few blocks with the cop on the hood. The leisure revolutionary wound up getting caught and arrested and immediately released on his own recognizance after charges for resisting arrest, reckless driving menacing and vehicular assault for intentionally injuring a police officer.

The contrasts between between the two protest demonstrations after election day and the public assembly for this hole in the wall bar in Staten Island and the response by authorities are blatantly and stunningly egregious. This mild-mannered maniac proprietor/bartender runs over a cop and gets released in a day while people marching on the streets in the Villages gets subjected to ultraviolence from the NYPD for even a an accidental nudge to an officer. Plus the fact that this bartender wouldn’t have got away with this unscathed or even still be alive if he was a Black or Latino bartender.

Then there are the hundreds of S.I. residents (and some visitors from nearby states) clustering on a street in solidarity for the bar while standing on top of sheriff patrol cars and the most Commissioner Shea sends are four or five cops to guard Mac’s door for a few hours. No choppers, no pepper spray, no bike cops, no MOVE BACK MOVE BACK.

Mayor de Blasio’s doesn’t even has an answer for this. More likely he thinks the revolution in Staten Island is going to fade away if he doesn’t mention it. Just like all that police brutality he continues to ignore. Just like the stealth mass gathering events arranged by the Satmar communities in Brooklyn. All these indications of contagion that are in his face (and everyone else’s) even while speakeasy raves and bottle parties are getting repressed throughout the boroughs.

Then the mayor has the audacity to chastise parents for being too cautious sending their kids back to school even though a lot of them can’t, like the mother running small her business on the brink of bankruptcy in the Bronx. Yet some kook bartender is running a revolution in plain sight while co-opting the antifa-like tactics of political movements that he the Blaz ideologically agrees with.

Something stinks to high hell about all of this. To be continued in the next episode in Impunity City.

Your city.

Despite The President’s Racist Tirades, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Must Fire Her Chief Of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti

https://proxy.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fa57.foxnews.com%2Fmedia2.foxnews.com%2FBrightCove%2F694940094001%2F2019%2F03%2F05%2F931%2F524%2F694940094001_6010177054001_6010181983001-vs.jpg%3Fve%3D1%26tl%3D1&f=1

A few weeks ago on the heels of the congressional hearings of the Senate’s border funding bill, a brash man in his 30’s  decided to take to social media and rail against the establishment very old guard and “moderate” Democrats for their support of it. And the social media storm came from the chief of staff of the most pop-centric elected official of our time (and arguably maybe all time since the young Kennedys) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Saikat Chakrabarti. Although he made salient points about the congressional hacks constant cave-ins, he made a boneheaded analogy comparing Speaker Pelosi and the other Dems voting for it to the Dixiecrats of nearly a century ago, which he immediately deleted. This led to Pelosi and her assembled old and rich peers to come down hard on Ocasio-Cortez and also three other women who objected to then rejected the bill, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rahsida Tailb, and Rep. Ayanna Pressely (which AOC’s chief of staff also name dropped in his thread) who are now affectionately branded by the said establishment Dem hacks as “the Squad”, purely to undermine and degrade their popularity, familiarity and whatever ideas to make the country a better place.

Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez then backed herself into a corner and pulled out a race card implying that Pelosi and all of them were being a bit racist considering the race of her and her aforementioned allies in order to defend Sakit’s deleted tweet. Speaker Pelosi and long-time shady establishment hack Congressman Gregory Meeks then laid on accusations of Ocasio-Cortez being just a figurehead character whose is being controlled by her chief-of-staff.

Even though these are atypical reactions from an electorate body of officials that are cognizant of their weakening status in office and of the growing and widening disdain of them by their constituencies to undermine a young and immensely popular upstart like Ocasio-Cortez, their vindictive accusations of her being dependent on her obnoxious chief of staff does have merit.

But in actuality, it’s not only because of his tweet conflating the current shitty Congress and the shitty racist enabling one back in the day or even wearing a very stupid t-shirt, it’s mostly because he’s a dishonest person and a multi-millionaire feigning to be a revolutionary, trying to become a player in D.C.. He also could have underhanded reasons to personally profit from what on the surface are progressive policies that are being pushed.

Chakrabarti, or Chak as he will be referred to here for the sake of brevity and it sounds better, got filthy rich in Silicon Valley developing a web tool called Mockingbird and participated in Bernie Sanders miraculous yet defeated presidential campaign, followed by hooking up with the current representative of New York’s fighting fourteenth district in Northeast Queens and the South Bronx with the Justice Democrats PAC he co-formed.

But since that victory, he’s been pulling some very shady and non-progressive stunts. A few of which involved some pitiful photo ops with the all-star rookie congresswoman.

Like how he transferred $885,000 from his two PAC’s he formed, the Brand New Congress and Justice Democrats and to two new LLC’s (one of which uses the former name) so he and the congresswoman can evade transparency in how they are charging contractors for services like polling and marketing, how the funding is accrued, who is donating and how much they are donating. The purpose for these former PACs cum companies is to bolster fellow and future Justice Democrats who run for elected office.

A lot of what transpired with the transactions and the conflicts involving AOC and her chief of staff are incredibly convoluted yet almost masterful so to avoid any serious fines or even serious charges. Especially the creative way that Sakrit can work for the congresswoman and earn a taxpayer funded salary while still running these LLC’s.The fact that these are “progressives” involved in dark money transactions and the machinating efforts behind them flies in the face of the Justice Democrats creed of getting money out of politics.

Although after these initial complaints, it seems the machinating is still continuing. Back in April on Earth Day, the congresswoman held an 5k running event in Astoria touting the Green New Deal, the environmental economic program she debuted at Nancy Pelosi’s office in her first day at work in D.C. Thinking that it was for the cause, attendees paid registration fees of $30 and $20 for kids to be in the presence of the representative, but turned out that Ocasio-Cortez and her staff had integrated the event into a campaign fundraiser for her new AOC for Congress PAC. Despite the unethical bait and switch, there was no actual malfeasance because it was written in fineprint on Ocasio-Cortez’s facebook page.

When confronted about this during the run, Alexandra was able to dodge the question while holding a baby. It looked so horribly evasive as something Selena Meyer would pull.

Then there was another event she and her staff arrangedwhere she went back to her roots and tended bar in Jackson Heights to address a raise of the federal minimum wage. Despite the utter lack of disclosure to the press and the public (and her constituents), the optics of this was made worse with the bar she chose to revisit her former trade, a recently opened hipster barsteraunt. The type of establishment that usually is a harbinger for gentrification and a death knell for struggling rent-burdened tenants. Listed on the blackboard menu was a $16 order for the notorious foodie delcicacy avocado toast.

There was not much information about this event, but it would be easy to speculate that it might have been another cleverly plotted fundraiser since attendance to the publicity stunt was tightly regulated to labor union reps and some workers and the only press there was one reporter from the NY Daily News which covered it.

Since Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is more occupied with her current job and actually doing a bang up job and also still maintaining her social media feed, the number one suspect behind these recent stunts has got to be Chief of Staff Chak. Well, now he’s evolved from that role to public enemy number one by the multi-millionaire Democrats in Congress with his twitter outbursts, who were collectively and vicariously through Speaker Pelosi were calling for Chaks head on a pike while calling for his “boss” to shut his ass up and undermining her status at the same time. Even President Trump mouthed off in solidarity defense of Nancy Pants.

Fortunately for Saikat oh Chak, the President has no sense of boundaries. Because following Nancy Pelosi’s degrading insults of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez as well as Reps. Talib, Omar and Pressely as just four votes that don’t mean shit despite them representing millions of Americans, President Trump became emboldened by Nancy’s dressing down of those women and shot  xenophobia and racist bombs and missives from his faceanus and on social media, degrading his own office and nation even further by telling those four women to go back to horrible places where they came from since they “complain” to much. Never mind with the exception of Omar who is a citizen, the three women are from the U.S.A. and are precisely there because there is still shit wrong with this country according to a lot of voters. (I always wondered if Trump believed that the Bronx was another country). Then Trump quadrupled duced down and decided to target Omar at his second campaign rally (the first was the Farce of July) by ragging on her and waiting patiently for the crowd to chant “Send Her Back”, the sequel to the Hillary refrain “lock her up” (another promised he broke, a lot of progressives actually want that too.)

Despite this lucky distraction, and the inevitable rise in solidarity support for AOC, it still doesn’t absolve the fact that despite Trump’s vicious bloviation Chak is a bad influence and detriment to her status and her future in elected office. That’s if she gets re-elected, because despite her phenomenal celebrity, Chak is still endangering and undermining her ability to represent her district with his own social media and disruptive antics which have obviously carried over from his time as a software creator in Silicon Valley, where the general edict there is to “move fast and break things”. That shit may work in the tech community but it doesn’t work in real life with real people and in politics. His big dumb mouth is also belittling AOC not only as a congresswoman but a woman with independent ideas and visions to make her country great again. It’s like Chak thinks he’s a modern day political Svengali with her and certainly with future candidates he wants to churn from his shady superpacs. While he makes reprehensible poitical reprobates like President Trump look rational and good (until he goes off-script) and gives long time corrupt parasites like congressman Greg Meeks to recruit protege candidate hacks of his own.

She has got to get rid of this guy or her political career and whatever destiny she wants to achieve will be kaput. Otherwise the fact will rise that she is way to dependent on him and that’s not going to go over well in due time, especially with her constituents.

Which means Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez has to fire her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti. Or at least he should voluntarily step off.

Hell, he can afford to, he’s a fucking multi-millionaire.

Executive Apocalypse: Stronghead Trump’s Shock Jock Doctrine Is Shaping And Destroying American Policies, American And Immigrant Lives, And Ultimately His Own Presidency And The Government He Swore To Uphold.

3kwTrump fondling Old Glory. Both in distress.

This is America

With 2 years of being President, in name and elected position only, Donald John Trump has seen his administration, policies and himself go through wild twists and turns, leaving a trail of domestic and societal wreckage that is still being spread with every signature, demented and illiterate tweets and words coming out his face anus.

What must have started off swell for him at the spring equinox, with the resignations of Homeland Security Secretary H.R. McMaster, Chief Economic Advisor Gary Cohn and Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson from his plutocabinet, ridding Trump of dissenting but sage advice on how to run the nation like an adult (an adult that’s redirecting wealth to the top 1%) and maintaining economic parity and some version of peace with our European allies has now devolved into a daily wrestling chair/ladder/table cage match show.

…and then along came Stormy.

Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah

Stormy Daniels, a voluptuous smokin’ hot woman and award-winning porn star actress who engaged in brief coitus on a boat with the President, led Trump to summon his devoted lawyer and patsy Michael Cohen to pay her $130,000 to keep quiet about the one-night stand and helped suppressed an interview she made with a celebrity tabloid magazine with it’s principal owner and CEO David Pecker, which all took place one month before Election Day 2016. But the payment was made through shady channels. When asked by reporters about this as he was about to enter a cabin on Air Force One, it may have been the first time in recorded history that Donald actually was stumped and conveyed a paralyzing fear.

snapshottrump

Since this made worldwide news, the Donald has been leading his country and conducting himself like a megalomaniacal hyperactive 300 pound gorilla with explosive diarrhea in the White House, throwing his shitty policies all over the walls and seeing what sticks, as a chunk of his plutocabinet bailed on him along with two of his personal attorneys, along with his post-election day firing of Jefferson Sessions, who the President always thought of as his own personal attorney.

As for his long-time personal lawyer, days after it was exposed of Cohen and Trump’s little collusion to shut down a salacious story by concocting a fake ass LLC and lame ass alias for Trump, David Dennison, to put a muzzle on Ms. Daniels and the immediate subsequent arrest and detainment of Cohen, it turns out he was also doing (actually yearning to do) some illicit lobbying through his shell company called Essential Consultants to get fat juicy tax payer funded contracts for Trump to dole out.

Now it turns out Cohen used his Essential Services LLC to financially muzzle a hot Playboy playmate from dishing about her sexual dalliance with Donny and also to pay off another Playboy model 2 million dollars about her affair with a major GOP fundraiser, using the aforementioned LLC and the same Dennison alias that was used for POTUS.

Now that all of Donnie’s sexual piccadillos and all the felonious cash laundering campaign law violating drama is clearly breaking his already addled brain, Trump, whilst implementing demented and doom-laden policy decisions had been making the rounds worldwide and embracing dictators with doe-eyed subservient zeal unfit for a man who has spent the first two years of his temp leadership role making outright and veiled threats on his social media feed.

But it isn’t like he’s become a different man. If there is a difference is that Trump is acting crazier than ever before and is actually showing outstanding vulnerabilities for a guy who has “great mental stability an is like a smart person” and who was once reputed to be according to a best selling autobiography, a deal artist. No, this is the same guy we (mostly everybody from New York City) have always known and this is the way he’s always operated.

A few news pieces surfaced that has practically defined Trump’s performance, agenda, and directives as the President. The first was by a senior staffer who described Trump’s tactics and directives in foreign policymaking as “We’re America, bitch!” and the second was the  more pointed retrospective observation by Leslie Stahl during an interview in May when she interviewed Trump after he won the nomination of the party he permanently neutered about why he continues to viciously attack journalists.

STAHL: …he’s attacking the press. And there were no cameras, there was nothing going on. And I said, “You know, that is getting tired, why are you doing this? You’re doing it over and over and it’s boring, it’s time to end that, you’ve won the nomination, and why do you keep hammering at this?” And he said: “You know why I do it? I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so when you write negative stories about me no one will believe you.”

This (not much of a) revelation shows that Donald John Trump has conducted and directed his presidency by the Shock Jock Doctrine. Not the delightful writer Naomi Klien’ landmark theory “The Shock Doctrine”, where the plotting and planning by insider politicos and their mercenary goons meticulously conquer and profit off of disasters, wars and coups, manipulating civic services and society as a whole. On the contrary, Trump’s “Shock Jock Doctrine” is what can be only discerned as the retarded version of it, as his policy and executive decisions do the same things but wind up with disastrous results on both the most vulnerable victims of them and eventually and humiliatingly towards the one individual, our executive in chief now known in New York’s criminal court system as Individual One, wielding them.

The Shock Jock Doctrine is inspired and defined by the syndicated radio and cable news talk show personalities of America: Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Alex Jones, the late Bill O’Riley etc. etc., men who spew extreme zealous polarizing opinions on how the government should be run. But Trump’s Shock Jock Doctrine more resembles Howard Stern, who Trump has mimicked his legendary format of crass insults and taking his oversexed radio theater objectifying and manhandling women to hedonistic power tripping levels, the latter no doubt verified by the pussy-grabbing claim he told Billy Bush 14 years ago.

But it also is glaringly affecting all his ill-thought foreign, domestic, immigration and economic policy decisions:

After writing his lie-positive polygraph signature on the executive order declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel, the opening of the new embassy offices there was marred by the psychotic gunning down of Palestinian protesters approaching the Gaza border while unarmed and also while they were in the midst of praying. The IDF snipers also shot a 21-year-old woman to death while she was identifying herself as a nurse trying to help the already wounded; one of the near 300 Palestinians killed and 29,000 injured during the year long protest.

While meeting with North Korean dictator Kim-Jong Un, Trump and the dictator seemed to agreed to a de-nuclearization deal. Following their historic meeting, Trump came away with bizarre impressions from Kim, marveling at what a stronghead he is and how his oppressed citizenry worships him and would like Americans to stand at attention whenever he or his image manifests somewhere, further cementing Trump’s deep seated admiration for autocratic tyrannical regimes. Since then, North Korea has continued to violate sanctions by ramping up their nuclear capabilities and naval logistic fuel shipments.

Then there’s Saudi Arabia, over a year after the weapons deal that was Trump’s first visit with a foreign nation which the Sauds have used to fuel their monstrous and sadistic attacks on Yemen, Amazon/Washington Post journalist Jamal Kashoggi was brutally murdered in the Saudi embassy. He was jumped by 15 men and was butchered alive from a physician severing his body with a bone saw. Following blatant falsehoods from the Saudi Royals about the slaughter which devolved from claiming that Kashoggi left thru a back door; then claiming that he fought with the 15 men inside; then finally admitting the murder as ordered by Crown Prince Bin Salaam, as pictures showing a hazmat cleanup crew team arriving at the embassy and footage showing one of the assassins wearing Kashoggi’s clothes impersonating him despite having hair and the victim being bald; President Trump veered just as wild as the Saudi Royal Killers manipulation of their self-investigation (which included brazenly sending a hazmat cleanup crew as it was getting international news attention and condemnation), first believing their cockamamie results and then finally and literally accepting the murder, stating how much they are needed because of lots of money and jobs are at stake because of the weapons deal (but more likely it’s the petrodollar and their investments in high-end real estate, the latter most definitely deriving from Donald’s own portfolio; most recently in the Hyatt Hotel and the former DC Post Office). Trump pulling the U.S.A. out of the U.N.’s human rights council makes his solidarity with these human rights violators and modern dictatorships and modern apartheid in the case of Israel

There is also his self-described beautiful but inflation driving and business and employee killing tariffs on foreign countries. Recently anointing himself as Tariffman, these tariffs (along with the Oligarch Welfare Tax Cut of 2017) have blown up the national debt another two trillion dollars.

But most of all, there is what’s going on at the Mexican border. Following Trump’s campaign launching vitriol of Mexican rapists and killers (and some good people) and his tirade about shithole countries and continuing Barack Obama’s cruel deportation and rendition policies; Trump’s administration took it to a sadistically higher levels with AG Sessions Zero Tolerance declaration. Breaking families apart by separating children from their parents and locking them in modern day interment camps in a vain attempt to discourage all migrants from coming to America. Making migrants eat food that’s against their religious beliefs. Making kids sleep on the floor with foil blankets; injecting them with pyschotropic drugs without their or their parents permission, constant verbal and physical abuse from guards. Having injuries and maladies left untreated. Thousands of kids subjected to constant transfers to other “shelters” from east to west of this nation and not keeping track of them. Putting babies and toddlers in what’s called “tender age” interment centers, which akin to describing and herding them like they were veal.

Howard Stern’s influence can also be felt in Donald Trump’s choosing of acquaintances. Donald also has his own “wack pack” consisting of visitors like Kid Rock, Kanye West and the My Pillow Guy. But it has extended to even his dismantled plutocabinet, with the exodus of D.C. reporter, pundit and insider reputed rational adults like Gary Cohn, H.R. McMaster and Rex Tillerson, the ones remaining are all dimwitted characters. Education Secretary Besty Devos, who doesn’t know shit about education; Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, another dunce who was fortunate enough to have relatives in banking to enrich himself; HUD and Energy Secretaries Ben Carson and Rick Perry, who are basically slackers letting their departments do nothing as public housing rots and fossil fuel, fracking and coal companies get awarded public park lands for more planet damaging extraction and young ward adviser Jared Kushner, who despite also personally profiting immensely from his non-divested business in his time in the White is being played and owned by our Israeli and Saudi allies as they continue their oppression of their nation’s people.

But the biggest tell and blowback from Howard’s influence on Stronghead Trump, is the crank call he got from Stuttering John Melendez who imitated accused and exonerated crooked N.J. Senator Bob Menendez to persuade Trump to go easy on immigrants and select a moderate pick for the vacant at the time Supreme Court seat.

This was perhaps the greatest crank call in history (this one was formerly the greatest) and would had a longer shelf life in corporate news and talk shows if it wasn’t for the 24-7 half-second attention span news cycles because of corporate social media. Ironically, what did fill the void was Trump’s own wack packer version of Stuttering John, his actual personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani popping up on occasion giving outlandish and even incriminating defenses of Trump with his claims that his client is incapable of collusion because he’s president and how he can pardon himself if he is ever charged. But Rudy’s biggest and funniest gaffe was when he proclaimed to the nation that the truth isn’t the truth, making even a hack like Chuck Todd openly mock the once person of the year on Meet The Press.

Apparently, Trump hired Rudy mostly to represent him to normalize his own habitual sociopathic lying and kill the concept of moral sense at the same time.

And now we come to Trump’s piece de resistance and genesis program for his reason to exist as President, his fucking wall. After sending troops and making orders to shoot migrants if they throw rocks (which is wholly inspired by his pal Bibi Nethanyahu’s and his IDF’s tactics to oppress Palestinians protesters) and a Supreme Court decision to terminate his unconstitutional asylum ban, the Stronghead has gone head on and shut down the government (with the exception of the military) to get 5.6 billion dollars to build a useless wall (or fence) made of either concrete or steel slats or whatever and making shocking analogies of the construction of the wall with the invention of the wheel (these are his quotes/tweets).

Stronghead’s stubborn persistence for the Trump Wall has led to parks being inundated with garbage and feces, SNAP benefits and public housing services being cut to the poorest Americans, and over 800,000 workers being denied their paychecks, notably to those responsible to protecting our borders which President Motherfucker keeps bitching about, the immigration offices where people are getting hearing to become citizens and TSA security officers in the nation’s airports, where the majority of immigrants (and alleged terrorists) are actually arriving in! Stronghead Trump’s Wall stand is undermining and sabotaging the secure borders he claims he wants to protect!

The Stronghead President as managed to endure and finish two years of his first term with the Shock Jock Doctrine, but he and it is about to be tested with a Democratic majority in the House which he has immediately undermined with his government shutdown for his stupid fucking wall but is partially ignited by a new crop of fiery representatives that are calling and writing up articles of impeachment and with a current investigation into his crooked business dealings in his Trump foundation in New York and with Robert Mueller getting another six months with his investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election (nothing there) and the influence on Trump’s campaign and policy making (very likely). And with three major cabinet positions filled with interim acting appointees and his NSA Advisor John Bolton discrediting Trump’s proclaimed Isis victory and promise to bring home thousands of troops by announcing that the troops are remaining indefinitely, it starting to look like there are machinations being made en route to persuade the Stronghead to resign and Mike Pence taking over the Presidency just in time for the State of the Union address in a few weeks.

Now Trump is about to go on national T.V. and address the nation that he is going to the border himself to make his case for his fucking wall. Who knows what is going to spew from his faceanus to justify the construction of it and the funding for it now. But that’s why we will all tune in. Because the reason why we used to listen to Shock Jocks like the King Of All Media and in the last 5 years President Trump is that we want to hear what crazy offensive shit he will say next. The distinction with the Stronghead is that we really don’t have any other choice and can’t change the station and our 4G cellphones.

Because his vulgarities have an effect on everyone and the state of the union and also has had a deleterious effect on our infrastructure too (which he still hasn’t paid any attention to  since announcing last year for a trillion dollar plan to improve it), but not only on the roads and highways of America but on the proverbial high road. Because three years of talking shit, dispensing insults and veiled and directed threats, the high road has been condemned.

To be continued…

Errant Horizons: The Violent And Vehement Blowback From The Well But Neoliberal Intended Rikers Island Shutdown

https://dailynews.news/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/20181004new-yorknyc-crimeny-metro-union-calls-end-horizon-center-20181004-story.html_.jpgThe tattered banner says it all.

The Four Boroughs, New York

It was just over a year ago, when retired judge Johnathon Lippman and his professional peers compiled a study citing the horrid conditions regarding criminal impunity among inmates and correction officers, human rights violations and the myriad violent conditions in the environment in Rikers Island to justify it’s shutdown. After incessant publicity and promotion by fauxgressive figures like Mayor de Blasio, former speaker Melissa Mark-Viverto and various tag-along liberal sops in city council; Governor Andy Cuomo signed into law to raise the age for getting charged as an adult for minor offenses and major crimes to 17 years old (to be raised to 18 in 2019) leading to transferring of over 90 young inmates to the Horizon Juvenile Center in the South Bronx on the first of October.

With such a rare humanitarian gesture from state government towards the prison population, what could possibly go wrong. Well, a day later and the first second when the kids went through the front door of Horizon, everything did.

In a grotesque result of what happens when the bleeding hearts of well-off liberals lead to brain hemorrages, all of the teenage males took their new found limited freedom and attacked all the corrections officers appointed to watch over them. Leading to twenty of the C.O’s getting hospitalized for injuries. The majority of the kids showed visible delight knowing that the guards were not equipped with pepper spray and handcuffs, because they were denied these defensive accessories according the newly signed law. Which certainly inspired the kids to throw desks around and break windows. One scamp even took a guards uniform shirt and wore it.The kids also utilized all the free unrestricted space to reassemble their gangs and reignite their street rivalries and brawl with each other.

As for the rationale behind the lack of gratitude shown towards being held in an optically better facility from where they came, it wasn’t like the kids didn’t warn them of what was going to go down:

While stationed at Rikers, the injured officer said the teen inmates taunted Corrections staff about what would happen once they were transferred to the Bronx facility and working unarmed.

“They said ‘just wait until we get to Horizon,’” said the injured officer, who was reassigned to the 90-inmate juvenile facility when the teens were moved.

This led the Corrections Officers Benevolent Association union leader, the benevolent Elias Muhammed, to rightfully imply I told you so:

“They aren’t turnstile jumpers, the open container crowd. These are gang-bangers. They are here for robbery, attempted murder and murder.”

The chaos barely even settled down as the kids kept being surly and uncooperative every day since the tranfer as 17 more C.O.’s and even two captains were attacked by the kids.

Calling the reactions to the anarchy that has broke loose at Horizon by the ones driving the Rikers Shutdown as haughtily tone-deaf is literally understating it. As the bruises and broken bones from these altercations were still fresh that the usual suspects that induced this stupid transference went into spinning dervish mode.

Beginning today, no one under 18 will go to Rikers Island,” tweeted Mayor de Blasio. “Kids will be treated like kids instead of adults. This is an historic moment for criminal justice reform and another step toward replacing Rikers Island with smaller, safer, more humane facilities.”

Gov. Cuomo also tweeted Monday, writing “As of today, NY’s Raise the Age Law is now in effect. This law raises the age of criminal responsibility, removes 16-year-olds from the adult criminal justice system, and prohibits 16- & 17-year-olds from being housed at Rikers Island. A big step forward for our justice system.”

“All 16- and 17-year-olds have been transferred from Rikers Island to Horizon Detention Center,” said ACS spokeswoman Chanel Caraway. “We are in a transitionary period for a historic reform that’s never been done before and there have been some incidents involving youth and officers, which were quickly addressed. None of the injuries were serious, but we take these and all incidents seriously.”

That last statement was a doozy, for it leads open the suspicion that Ms. Caraway has never felt of even seen a broken bone or surface wound. But the damning thing about this is that this transfer was under the purview of the Administration Of Children’s Services. Which is a wonder why they didn’t send guards from that government office and laid the care and security of the center on the Department Of Corrections. Certainly that may have driven the young inmates to go giddy at the prospect of getting some sort of revenge on their former captors.

Another thing about the Horizon transfer is why wasn’t the near billion dollar mental health program THRIVE run by de Blasio’s wife and co-mayor Chirlane was somehow not involved in this? Being that the reason behind this transfer was to get them away from the mentally traumatizing environment in the cells of Rikers. But the answer to that is that even the officials in those government offices knew damn well of the potential danger lied ahead if they sent their counselors there and obviously did not want to risk injury or even death. Despite all the alleged empathy behind this transfer and the Rikers shutdown in general is the obvious concern and fear knowing how those 90+ formerly incarcerated kids will violently react.

If there has been some actual progress in this nascent stage of criminal rehabilitation is that the city finally acknowledged that they had to make conditions safer at Horizon by bolting down the desks so the gangbangers don’t weaponize them and fogging the windows so they don’t see each other (even though they definitely are aware of each others existence, duh.)

Meanwhile, as Horizon is currently and temporarily faded into the background, plan b of the city’s mentally mad Rikers closing is gathering methane releasing steam with the building of new prisons in neighborhoods in the boroughs except for Staten Island (which with the failure of the ferris wheel, they actually have prime real estate to glom for a prison there). And it will also be understating how contentious (although utterly inspiring) the reactions of the communities from those towns are.

What started in a scarcely reported city hall meeting scarcely meaning that it was closed to the press and public that was only with by a tweet, in what can be derived of being under the impaired influence from the Lippman Study and the still unmentioned pernicious influence of big time real estate investors and the lobbying involved from both entities, the city wants to build smaller prisons in the metropolitan areas of Kew Gardens, Queens; Downtown Brooklyn; Chinatown, Manhattan, and bizarrely and most inappropriately on a residential street corner in Mott Haven in the Bronx.

The unmistakable fury and abject objections for the city’s tactless and crass plans to place jails was dominant in recent hearings in Kew Gardens and Mott Haven. And why wouldn’t it, because like every other ill-thought policy that comes from and is induced onto the constituency from de Blasio’s city hall city planners and (whoever the new agents of the city are) is executed by stealth and with arrogance and disingenuous self-righteous blather. For example, the neighborhood jail plan draft was initiated in a secret meeting in city hall among officials and some persons of interest that was closed to the public and reporters according to a tweet by a writer from Gothamist, then the draft was disseminated to reporters hours later. (Foul fact, when that cityblog folded, de Blasio arranged a meeting with them for some bullshit discussion but mostly to bloviate what a progressive icon he is.)

And what a draft it is. Because you see, the plan is to not just put prisons in residential areas. Oh no, your fucking city wants to place prisons where criminals will be serving long sentences in towers. Towers ranging from 20 to 40 stories! Because you see, the city and obviously the unmentioned caring folks from real estate and development, want to integrate unsightly prisons with residential living and commerce by having apartments built with them and stores to shop or restaurants to dine in.

81518closerikers3.jpgTake this dumbshit rendering please and shove it up your neoliberal asses.

It seems the reason for these stylish glossy penitentiaries is so it seamlessly and aesthetically blends in with all the other glossy towers that have arose in Brooklyn and Manhattan and the presence of towers will hopefully spur high market speculation in Kew Gardens and Mott Haven (leading to pestilent gentrification). But it mostly gives the impression that the neoliberal powers that be think that towers and the vector of upscale living it emits will be able to camoflage the inconvenient truth about the existence of crime and criminals. Just like the rationale that affordable housing can only exist with luxury tower development, resulting mostly in camoflaging the existence of destitution and homelessness. On the subject of affordable housing, these towers with jails will also conveniently yet slightly speed up de Blasio’s bogus affordable housing program in a way too since it doesn’t take much thought to speculate that no one would pay market rate to live in the same building with convicts milling around the lower floors. And judging by the fury of the citizenry of these targeted areas, those people obviously wouldn’t want to live there either.

These spanking new jails are suppose to materialize only if the prison population decreases to 5000. Which is a super tall order considering that major crimes like murder and rape have had incremental increases and all other crimes like grand larceny, assault and battery and burglary have remained steady.

But damn if these big brainiacs in their elected, exalted government jobs and a clueless, oblivious heiress and her non-profit operation aren’t going to stop trying to fulfill this #Rikersshutdown mission in spite of tax-paying residents rejections and the inevitable societal malaise that will occur.

That heiress would be Kerry Kennedy and her foundation. Who has put up five million dollars to post bail for women prisoners in Rikers and even those ultraviolent kids in Horizon despite prior arrests and serving time for attempted murder, robbery and assault. Which those teenagers committed again immediately on Horizon’s admission day . One female convict and recidivist criminal who held up a sex shop at knifepoint that Kerry’s foundation bailed out by contributing $25,000, didn’t show up at her court hearing to ensure her new found charitable freedom.

Then there was a murder committed by a man who scored a plea dea by D.A. Cy Vance after he was charged for possessing an illegal gun. Just a week and a day after Vance’s way too trusting decision, that man got involved in a street hassle with another man on the street and chase him down and shot him in cold blood.

Another thing these fauxgressive intellectuals like Lippman, Kennedy, and progressive issue bandwagon jumpers and stowaways like de Blasio and Cuomo don’t get or even acknowledge are the people, the victims of the crimes committed at them from these kids and adults. Victims of a rape, robbery, burglary, assault and murder of course are being violated of their human rights too. Which is hard to conceive by people isolated in the upper echelons of society and class and those elected officials daily protected by an entourage of cops. And deep down they know it’s a fact, because before the transfers of juvenile delinquents to the Bronx and these obligatory bullshit town hall hearings for the boro prisons, the city’s commitment to upgrade and renovate Rikers Island to make it handicap accessible is still going on at the cost of 50 million dollars.

And even de Blasio is not immune from his fears (and he has many this man is a giant coward) of the presence of these inmates as well as the existence of crime itself. When the weak ass mayor decided to hold a press conference at the 40th Pct. back in July, he ordered that prisoners detained in the cells there be moved to the 41st Pct. across town. The illogical logistics led to the latter Pct. forced to assemble a command post outside of their station to handle the load of new arrests, being that the 40th has seen a large rise of crime in that district.

The cognitive dissonance and brazen hypocrisy by him as well as the other suspects mentioned here shows that these plans have no basis in reality or common sense and is irresponsible. But mostly incompatible with the towns they want to dump these prisons on and even on the inmates they purport to help. The corrections officers and the citizenry are extremely right to reject these programs.

Bo Deitl, during his disruptive, incorrigible and juvenile behavior during the mayoral debates around this time last year made the best observation about Rikers Island: “Why don’t we fix what we got”. That sentiment desperately still needs to be applied here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to help these convicts and make certain that they are dwelling in a safe environment during their incarceration. After all, prisoners have rights. But these reform plans and the officials minds that concocted and executing them, along with the rationales behind them are as hardheaded and maladjusted as most of the kids that rioted  the first day at Horizon and any recidivist criminal continuing to commit crimes on the streets against the citizenry.

Governor Cuomo And Cynthia Nixon Are Progressive Poseurs

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DYQbXxoW0AABBqd.jpgWhat are you doing Andrew? (photo: Latest)

The State Of New York

It looks like Mario’s son, Governor Andrew Cuomo has finally found his inner populist again. The first time when he bombastically gestured that he was going to put an end to perpetual corruption in Albany and assembled the Moreland Commission to do just that, only to annihilate it once it got too close to his inner circle aka his the two other men intthe room, Sheldon Shady Silver and Dean Skelos, leading to their indictments. All it took was for all his friends in the Buffalo Billion scandal to get indicted and his honorary kid brother Joey Percoco to get convicted for using the government offices under Andy’s purview for monetary and influential gain for him and his wife to find it.

Now that he lost all his friends, Andy came downstate to the city to expose even further the inhumane and wretched state of public housing with PIX news in tow all while Mayor de Blasio was out of town promoting himself as a supposed resistance fighter. Pictures showing the Guv pointing at dilapidated things and roach colonies and making obvious observations about how revolting it all is.

Well, let’s say his sudden presence payed dividends, because the apartment he made an example of NYCHA’s criminal neglect, resided by a paraplegic, got the urgent repairs and cleanup it needed. It may have also led to a similar fast track cleanup of an 83-year-old woman’s apartment that was inundated with mold. He also found $250 million dollars somewhere to speed up repairs for other NYCHA buildings (that’ll cover it in about the time he’s campaigning for re-election, natch). The Governor managed this with the same quickness as the opening of the 2nd Avenue subway line so it would be ready for his New Years Eve party and christening a few years back.

To top off his blatant photo-op tour, he participated in the city schools solidarity protest for the Parkland High School massacre, and died on the ground with the children around him.

His recent forays, even if did some good and was driven by spite to embarrass his fauxgressive mayoral foe, are doubtlessly suspicious. For one this drew some attention away from his idiot friend’s sentencing, how everyone he contracted to shore up the economy upstate with a solar factory are under indictment and of course his selective spending for the MTA, and another is that he obviously needs the city’s constituents to re-elect him so he’s doing some nice things, even piggybacking on a gun control youth movement. Yet he still won’t legalize pot.

In a way, Gov. Andy is trying to fast-track his own self-image as a progressive politician in a Scrooge like awakening. But it’s actually more like Robert Duvall’s minister in his masterpiece “The Apostle”, when after he cracks a guys head open with a baseball bat that puts him in a coma, he leaves town and shows up out of the blue into a broken poor town, assists in building a church and gives an inspiring sermon to the congregation.

Unfortunately, the sheriff comes for him and frog marches him out in handcuffs in front of everyone. Don’t know if Andy will have the same fate even though he clearly deserves it being what he has turned his elected position into, which is a sold-out figurehead compromised by his donors instead of a representative of the people.

But is surely shouldn’t be awarded to an actress with no prior elected office experience because she’s got progressive values or has been to political fundraising parties.

https://pixel.nymag.com/imgs/daily/vulture/2018/03/20/20-cynthia-nixon.w710.h473.jpgCynthia For N.Y. ad. Don’t call her Nixon for now.

Cynthia Nixon, who appeared in the Oscar-winning film Amadeus and is famously renowned for her role in a TV show and movie spinoff and is very cute, officially announced her run for Governor. Actors have run for office before and she certainly has her right, but she is definitively not qualified and already has negative aspects about her candidacy.

For one, she has never held any office in her life, for she spent most of her career in the entertainment industry. For that alone is the reason why this state, and as you, the people have seen with Figurehead Trump, is reason alone why no one can just up and say they want to govern because they feel like they can. I don’t doubt Nixon’s intellect, (her Miranda character was a lawyer I think, yeah I watched the show, anyone who had a girlfriend when it was on HBO were obligated to view it), but Don Worthless has ruined it for everyone inexperienced in public service. And speaking of the fat pussy who fires people on Twitter, she is using the same tactics but from a liberal bent. Slamming Cuomo for being the bought off politician he is and allowing corrupt cronies to run rampant and his unforgivable management of the MTA, but she doesn’t have her own solutions or plans for governing. And while she’s directing falsehoods about his progressive stances when he endorsed and helped legalize same sex marriage in the state making it possible to for her to marry her girlfriend. And it’s interesting that she didn’t bring up his fundraising or his budgetary misdirected and profligate spending.

And two, and this a big number two pun intended. For all the inferring talk on Cuomo’s corruption, Nixon is way too close to the most corrupt mayor in the past 170 years and stupidest mayor anywhere of all time, Co-Mayor Big Slow de Blasio. It’s going to be an interesting debate if Nixon brings up how Cuomo’s influenced by donor cash when she associates with the biggest whore in the nation dependent on real estate money and his own blatant illegal fundraising in city hall. There is also the inconvenient truth about how he let lobbyists tied to his mayoral campaign get access and sit down and participate in meetings concerning city services and planning.

Coincidentally, her campaign is being managed by two of his agents of the city too. Her first ad shows her with her toddler daughter, commuting on the train on a peculiarly bare platform and car (when was this filmed, 4 a.m. on a Sunday?) and speaking at rallies, notably one on a podium with a rainbow colored filled RESIST emblazoned on it. That’s three of the four food groups of optical progressive campaigning right there.

It’s early in the year but this competition looks solidified, being the fact that lots of money runs politics and Andy has lots of it in his coffers and certainly Cyndi will soon. Andy sucks, but Cyndi is not the answer or even a good alternative, although clearly the lady is way easier on the eyes. And again the Republicans aren’t putting up anyone good or even distinctive and they denied the one guy a chance, Joel Giambra, who actually has independent thoughts and actual progressive ideas (including an EXCELLENT one to legalize pot to fund the MTA with taxes from it’s sales) to campaign on the GOP line.

In the meantime, look forward (or not, I won’t and neither will you, the people) to a lot more nauseating feel-good electioneering and feel-good false promises from Mario’s Son and T.V.’s Miranda in the next 6 months.

It’s a choice between two poseurs. At least it’s not two evils. Well Cuomo was evil once, but he’s turned face because of mitigating circumstances. This state and democracy are quite fucked.

Executive Carnage Brings Actual American Carnage: Figurehead Trump’s Disgusting Gerald Ford Moment And Ultimate True Character Reveal After The Latest Mass Murder Involving An Easily Bought AR-15.

See the source imageThe AR-15. Purchasing and owning this thing has more civil rights than the right to speak against it’s indiscriminate distribution.

Washington D.C., U.S.A.

A week after the latest mass murder, this time at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida at the Marjory where 17 students and faculty got shot to death by a homicidal sociopath named Nicholas Cruz, who went through his adolescence expressing fantasies for shooting people and claimed to know areas for precise hits. Who abused his sick mother. Who was part of an extracurricular program shooting class sponsored by the NRA, and who suffered from the mental conditions of autism and depression and was able to purchase the AR-15 rifle legally from a distributor with the ease of buying a burner phone from a bodega or a lotto newsstand. The Trump administration arranged to have a listening session with relatives of the victims of the recent massacre.

As it was an appropriate response to have such a meeting one thing should be clear, this session would not have been possible by the revolutionary reactions of the students and citizens of Parkland. Whilst Trump was busy on his morbid iconic twitter account rattling off his theories and usual deflections, the kids organized protest rallies that called out the bullshit inherent in the defense of current federal gun regulations and the seedy integration of money and politics behind them and the compromised sellout elected leaders who enable it and ratify them.

Actually, two things should be clear, and it was when Figurehead Trump decided to go lampin’ at his Mar-A-Lago resort and hit the links while the funeral and burial processes for the victims were going on a short secret service escorted drive away.

Figurehead Trump, showing thoughts and prayers, now watch this putt.

As expected as these recent gaffes were and how they are every minute Trump opens his mouth and presses his blackberry keyboard, none can be more repugnant than what transpired at the actual session with the bereaved citizens of Parkland, along with other families that experienced the mass shootings of Sandy Hook and ghetto street violence.

Figurehead Trump, the deal artist, the alleged billionaire businessman, the commander in chief with the best words equipped with the asset of mental stability, pulls out a bunch of notes from his jacket while Mike Pence does the instruction, revealing crib notes on the topics about to be discussed.

Image result for trump crib notes Either Trump is showing a sign of senility by writing the number 45 on his cuff as a reminder what number is his presidency, or that is monogrammed there to sell a designer shirt line. Emoluments be damned again. (Carolyn Kaster, A.P.)

That is some zooming there by the photographer from the AP. (You would think it was a rogue CIA mole from the Deep State). As it now confirms all the leaks about the President’s preferred method of reading daily intel briefs, sans pictures and graphics which probably resembles a Howard Johnson’s menu.

And they were just basic questions that could have been asked if one had a conscious or even functioning brain cells.

The man who won the presidency on his first try needs his aides tips on how to address the people devastated over the unnecessary deaths of their kids from a confirmed and armed mentally ill person, a whole week after the attacks. Trump, who proclaimed only he can fix the government actually needs the advice of the grieving group of people on how to handle gun policy and what to say on how to assure them he’s got their attention.

“I hear you”. Trump needs a response written down for him. A dismissive one too.

That’s just what the savvy cameraman caught without the Figurehead’s expectation. It’s was the wretched thing he did during the listening session that was boneheaded and awkward.

During VP Pence’s introduction, Trump pulls out the dotard cue cards from his pocket, giving the immediate impression that he doesn’t read and probably hasn’t read anything in his time in office. It gets more demented when instead of having an aide take them from him after he memorized them on the spot apparently, like say Hope Hicks who was there and who probably wrote the dotard cue card too going by the loopy handwriting, he just places them down on the carpet next to the student sitting next to him!

Later on, while someone was giving an idea on how to close loopholes interfering with background checks to prevent to sell to mentally unstable or recidivist criminal consumers, Trump bends over to pick up his notes, nods his head a bunch of times obviously to feign giving attention (conveying “I hear you”), peruses the papers a bit then sloppily stuffs them into his pocket.

This may be understating it, but this was extremely bad optics which is where the crack media team under Trump immediately got to work. As the White House upload of the session cuts off where Trump picks up the notes and goes to the straight to the guy asking the question and poof! the notes were gone after they were on the floor for a good 50 minutes.

This could be Figurehead Trump’s Gerald Ford moment. Although more disgusting and unfunny, albeit expected. On national TV, President Ford was exiting Air Force One and suddenly and comically slipped on the steps. Granted it wasn’t his fault and it was raining but it’s the only lasting memory of the 38th President which was immortalized in comic infamy by Chevy Chase on Saturday Night Live, who did not even wear makeup to portray him but just falling on his ass was enough for everyone to get the joke.

This is stretching it a bit, kind of like everyone in the media and the feds trying to tie Trump’s election victory to Russian interference. But the thing that should show that this is Trump at his absolute worst and how he should not be taken seriously or credibly ever again, even after everything he’s done as President and his whole fucking life.

And that is the gravity of the situation. And when it comes to Trump, gravity itself, for he has never felt it until now.

It has exposed these elected nimrods assigned to lead and legislate that they have no fucking clue how to stem the next mass shooting. For Trump is bandying about arming teachers and even janitors to get weapons training to defend themselves and the students. Which will naturally result in more money for the gun industry and probably the military contractor complex too, being that they have to get the skills to ward off the next attack. Which will be majorly convenient for Education Secretary Betsy Devos and her brother and Blackwater CEO Erik Prince. Making this plan derivative of the main plot of Under Siege, where Steven Segal was able to kill a terror group who had no idea he was a chef that was a Navy Seal.

It has exposed that everyone knew this kid was a danger to himself and society, as all the warnings were there for most of Cruz’s adolescent life even until the day before he invaded the school and went on his killing spree. Which was made possible by warped state legislation ratified 7 years ago that would levee fines on town mayors who tried to set their own regulations regarding the purchasing of guns. That even with the presence of police, he was still able to get inside the school and murder 17 and wound 14 others. That even with social media and all the unchecked surveillance of it, Cruz was still able to carry out his slaughter.

And with this domestic debacle resulting from the massacre, everyone touched and traumatized that day in Parkland have rose up and are pointing out the brazen hypocrisy and arbitrariness of this nation’s security system and the nefarious role of donor money. Because the mass shooting at that high school has exposed Trump’s failed domestic policies and the deadly consequences of the NRA’s expenditures to influence the Figurehead and the hacks in the Congress and Senate to overturn regulations regarding mental qualifications and criminal background checks that has made it easier to own a military grade weapon.

It has galvanized the town of Parkland and wrought awareness and information from voices that are pissed off yet whose words are measured and articulated with eloquence. People like Andrew Pollack who brought the fact that he can’t get on an airplane with a bottle of water yet anyone can get a machine gun. And the new activist youth of America, kids like Sam Zeif, David Hoss and the outstanding Emma Gonzalez bringing up the hard facts that most of the mainstream news media would not even broach.

In fact, this massacre has brought out all the kids nationwide to rise up and organize. This movement and revolution has a face for it in Samantha Fuentes who dismissed Trump’s facetious comforting and bravely went on national television with her sharpnel laid scars and wounds

Video thumbnail for MSD school shooting victim Samantha Fuentes shares her story

As for the defenders of the false faith justifying the civilian ownership of military weapons, the spineless millionaire NRA Chairman Wayne Le Pierre emerged from his gilded palace and to his safe space at the CPAC Covention to decry and cry about the new general hatred against the gun lobby by conjuring up red scare accusations and calling people socialists against the second amendment right to bear arms.

Yet again, La Pierre and even that despicable coward cheerleader Dana Loesch conveniently gloss over the first part of the second amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

No doubt about the right of the people. But the well-regulated militia? What La Pierre and many, many others are doing is instead of separating the the two are conflating them. People are not a well-regulated militia, (such as people are not corporations). A well-regulated militia is established by the regulations inherent in them. The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are a well-regulated militia. A person is not but is instilled in the right to own a gun. The NRA lobby, not so coinicidentally is against any regulations to insure that guns remain only in responsible hands of people of sound mind, which goes against all their claims, including Figurehead Trump, is what they interpret as the main problem and cause of mass shootings. The NRA through their obstinance are actually putting responsible gun owners rights in jeopardy with their manic spending preventing needed regulations to protect the public and prevent the disenfranchisement of said rights from the inevitable overreach they fear. Which has actually happened with the first and fourth amendments under the Patriot Act and the recent re-implementation of section 702 of the FISA amendment.

Which makes Figurehead Trump, in his embrace of the mistaken ideology of the second amendment and his widely reviled solution at preventing another mass killing that does not involve the government approved killings in senseless wars in other nations, all you have to do is remember his awkward inappropriate actions at the listening session. The guy does not care and can’t think for himself.

Despite his broken campaign promise to be a populist independent leader because of the security of his purported wealth, turns out to be a broke ass president reliant on the foul moneyed donors who gave him his job and on his staffers who vainly try to make him look sympathetic and concerned for those victimized by their lunatic self-serving and self-enriching policies.

Trump needs notes to show sympathy and garner ideas. There is no doubt what a real-time fraudulent president he is, fraudulent business man he was and a fraud he is as a human being.

He is exposed now. The wind that blew his Rumplestilsken hair off his bald head weeks ago has now been replaced by the winds of change being wrought by the kids of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High.

This time. The kids are really all right.

New Bad Days 46: Like It And Learn To Love It, Rikers Island Shutdown Is Underway As It Was Announced 60 Hours After A Group Of Five Gangbangers Crippled A Correction Officer; A Class Size Group Of Kids Beat Down A Homeless Man On The A Train; A Dead Baby Abandoned In A Park; Two Women Beat Down A Pregnant Woman And Slam A Door On Her Feet; Rap Crew Films Shitty Video And Shows Off Their Stash While Imprisoned; Super Crazy Guy Jumps Roofs In Bed-Stuy And Multiple Random And Intentional Slashings And Deadly Domestic Disputes.

https://thenypost.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/rikers1.jpgRikers Island, pariah government center on scrumptious speculative real estate.

From the elected denizens occupying City Hall, they have begun the dizzying ill conceived official program to shut down Rikers Island and transfer all convicts present and future to four jails in the boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan. But not Staten Island, because supposedly no one commits crimes there.

This is where the Mini-Rikers will be:

  • Manhattan Detention Center, 125 White Street, Manhattan, 10013 (The Tombs)
  • Brooklyn Detention Center, 275 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, 11201
  • Queens Detention Center, 126-01 82nd Avenue, Kew Gardens, 11415
  • NYPD Tow Pound, 320 Concord Avenue, Bronx, 10454

This transition is suppose to take a decade or if crime drops first. But apparently these fauxgressive hacks aren’t even going to wait for the latter, especially now that Gov. Andy has decided to up the ante with his jackass boisterousness and wants Rikers shut down earlier than that.

Mayor de Blasio and Speaker Corey Johnson announced an agreement today to move forward on closing Rikers Island and creating a smaller, safer and fairer borough-based jail system. Together with the Council Members representing these areas, the Mayor and Speaker have agreed to a single public review process for four proposed sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens. These sites together will provide off-Island space for 5,000 detainees, and will include the three existing DOC facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, as well as a new site in the Bronx located at 320 Concord Avenue in Mott Haven.

“This agreement marks a huge step forward on our path to closing Rikers Island,” said Mayor de Blasio. “In partnership with the City Council, we can now move ahead with creating a borough-based jail system that’s smaller, safer and fairer. I want to thank these representatives, who share our vision of a more rehabilitative and humane criminal justice system that brings staff and detainees closer to their communities.”

“Today is a historic day, as we are yet one step closer to closing Rikers Island.  The New York City Council is proud to have spearheaded the historic Close Rikers movement by creating the Lippman commission and passing legislation enacting many of its recommendations. The Council has also funded innovative programming to keep cases out of the criminal justice system altogether, such as the CLEAR and HOPE programs, which provide treatment instead of incarceration to those with substance abuse issues. We all know that closing jails on Rikers means opening more humane, community-based facilities elsewhere. I am proud to stand with my Council colleagues and thank them for their support on this crucial issue. I look forward to working closely with Mayor de Blasio, my Council colleagues representing these communities, and the communities themselves in finally achieving our shared goal of closing Rikers Island,” said Speaker Corey Johnson.

The Office Of The Mayor

This is being done because the violent environment and corruption in Rikers has become too endemic. As opposed to the equally well know graft in the city and state government high offices for a century and at a pinnacle today? Is this really what voters, meaning the less than 25% who showed up to elect these dusted democrats, really asked for from them.

What are the costs going to be to retrofit those four jails and how they are going to manage to fit all those prisoners and even staff. Especially what the speculative costs will be to convert that garage in the Bronx into a functioning high security apparatus. Most essential is how this goal of 5,000 convicts going to be accomplished to justify these transfers.

As simplistic and cynical as it sounds, which this utopian program resembles the former in spades, the only way this can be achieved is by not convicting anyone who commits crimes it seems. Which de Blasio has already assured with recent accusations by a police captain of stations lessening crime charges and the recent and similar doctoring and reclassifying of crimes committed at homeless shelters

As for sounding like the latter, it has been known for a few years that the Gentrification Industrial Complex are salivating at the prospects of all that scrumptious real estate waiting to be taken. Even the Corrections Officers Union President Elias Husamudeen smells a rat and sees this for the fauxgressive ruse it is. Although coming from the namesake of the commission report that inspired the Rikers shutdown, Johnathan Lippman, it ain’t like those interested in all that city property are shy about their passively heinous ulterior motives masking as a humanity cause:

…former New York State chief judge Jonathan Lippman, who heads the New York City Council-created criminal justice reform commission that oversees the Rikers-study committee, said it’s only natural to explore “potentially doing some of the things we’ve done with other vacant, large pieces of land, whether it be benefiting public health, education, research institutions.”

But he also sought to emphasize, and then re-emphasize, that real estate is in no way the central focus of his committee.

“At the outset, let me say that the future of Rikers Island as a physical location follows—and certainly doesn’t precede—improving our jail system,” he said.

“The political center of this will be about how we make the system more humane and just,” he said, “and at the same time recognize that you do have a very strategically placed and valuable piece of real estate there that could have a multitude of public policy purposes to develop it.”

None of these elected idiots surely not have thought through this but predictably are following de Faustio’s (bottom) line. Particularly Speaker Corey Johnson who in just a short month after exhorting that he was going to be a bulldog critic and a check on the mayor’s machinations and decisions has devolved into the typical partisan loyal neoliberal lapdog he is. And Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz who has officially thrown her hands up and quit and gave her approval, selling out her constituents and her credibility.

While we all want to live in a city or even a world without crime, this program is being foisted on the public without a clarified thought or what the ramifications might be or how much the goddamn new Mini-Rikers are going to cost.

And one huge fact is if that when this transfer officially begins, will that endemic violent and corrupt prison culture will carry on in the new jails or will exacerbate. Because this is clearly not going to happen overnight or most certainly, well, never.

Because in Rikers Island, a correction officer was attacked and beat down by five prisoners as a guard in the same room just stood there and watched and did not help his fellow officer, who wound up with severe spinal and neck injuries from the savage gang attack. The first one who barged in the room planned the premeditated the attack during a phone call according to another inmate.

We shall see how this shit enfolds. This post illustrates that this isn’t starting off well.

In Foxhurst, an agent from the Immigrant and Customs Enforcement abused his position when he threatened to shoot a man with his gun having his car repossessed by his repoman cousin and later was arrested himself at the police station he brought his victim to because he was not suppose to use his government issued weapon while off duty.

A Christmas Corral Of The U.S. Treasury: Trump Signs Oligarch Welfare Bill Into Law

https://i0.wp.com/media.breitbart.com/media/2017/12/trump-signs-640x480.pngLike a sign of overcompensating for, you know, the signature gets hyuger every time he writes it.

Washington D.C., United States Of America Under Financial Totalitarianism

Lucy Van Pelt: I know how you feel about all this Christmas business, getting depressed and all that. It happens to me every year. I never get what I really want. I always get a lot of stupid toys or a bicycle or clothes or something like that.

Charlie Brown: What is it you want?

Lucy Van Pelt: Real estate.

                                                                                                                                    Charles Schulz

It was written, rewritten and rewritten, then it was signed (wow was it signed), and it is done. The Oligarch Welfare Bill is now the unadulterated law of the land.

It was done with relative ease, since it didn’t even require a thorough reading by the establishment Republicans or the cooperation nor the presence of the establishment Democrats and Bernie Sanders in the final days of crafting this Piece Of Shit bill. All it took to barrel it through was to bribe Bob Corker by adding a last second provision tax break for pass through income via LLC’s, virtual company entities that work more like tools in making revenue in the business of real estate, which the retiring Senator accrued millions of dollars in while he has been a public servant.

It turned out the reason for Corky’s nay vote the last time was that this provision was not in the despicable bill’s house version and was added and authored by Utah’s Sen. Orrin Hatch, a man from the poor people and the chicken coop. So much for the senator taking a moral stand against Trump and massive deficits.

Senator Hatch was not only thinking of Corky and his aide, but himself and his wife and a posse of other GOP senators and house representatives with collectively millions of dollars accrued from real estate and equity holdings to profit immensely even more from the Oligarch Welfare Law (haven’t heard much reporting on how or which elected Democrat members will profit from their real estate holdings if they have them though). Including standout young’n house speaker Paul Ryan, who has been champing at the bit to get this bill created and ratified so the donors he sucks up to can now repatriate their massive tax avoiding wealth, collectively worth 3 trillion dollars, that have been trapped on their island shelters and lower taxed nations at the generous lower rate now instituted.

With all that hoarded money free at last, it can then flow through their LLC’s untouched by the Feds. Leading to more gentrification of the cities where they have invested properties in, which will cause more high end speculation. It will also kill small businesses like restaurants and bars, for LLC’s are also involved in dining and nightlife establishments too.

Now that their collaborated powerball winning legislation is now law, they are now (the only ones) celebrating. And since the Oligarch Welfare Law also includes massive tax breaks for alcohol distribution, they will surely doing shots with 100 year old scotch, bathing in 50 year old wine, and showering each other with the finest high end champagne.

The biggest winner is of course the elected and currently serving President (and his plutocabinet members). Continuing his lifelong streak since birth of privileged good fortune. And it’s a good thing too, since some of his branded properties have removed his ubiquitous name off of their buildings, which might have cost him quite a lot of cash (it’s the only evidence that he has divested from his businesses, by being forced to). With the passage and his ridiculous giant signature, which resembles a pathological liar’s lie detector chart pattern, ratifying it, the money will continue to flow through his world wide web of shell companies, ensuring and his billionaire status and a nice tax payer funded nest egg for his next of kin and their next of kin.

As for everyone else, the first year might be fine if you don’t own a home in New York, New Jersey or California, with the doubling of the standard deduction, but all those minor token tax cuts come to a screeching halt in a little less than a decade to justify the exorbitant costs of Oligarch Welfare Law, which with all the speculation on how it will make up for the 6 trillion dollars with all of the cash concentrated for the top earners by happenstance does not account the costs of future military conflicts or the catastrophic effects from hurricanes, sea level rise and land erosion and the long promised trillion dollar infrastructure plan Trump touted days after the white power siege of Charlottesville, will effect the nation’s budget in the next 5 years as these cuts get bigger for the top. Maybe the reason why they have not ended DACA is because, well, they need those kids to contribute to the redistribution of wealth with their weekly paychecks when they become adults. Maybe that will put a stop to build the new Wall Of Mexico (Nah).

So once you get your returns in 2019, don’t spend it too fast. Hell, don’t spend it at all if you are able to avoid sickness or injury, or from a climate disaster, no matter how impossible it is. For it’s the same logic that the avaricious, self-serving and donor-serving members of Congress utilized to craft this odious, rancid law. And they are not even done, for they are now concocting their B plan to fund it if these tax cuts cost the nation’s budget to implode. In fact this plan was implemented 2 weeks before they wrote the bill, knowing full well they won’t have the funds, current and speculative to finance them.

The Washington Post: Congressional Republicans are laying the groundwork to overhaul welfare programs for the poor

Republican lawmakers are preparing plans to restructure America’s welfare system, including putting new limits on who’s eligible for anti-poverty programs such as food stamps and housing benefits.

The details of the planned overhaul are still being determined, but congressional Republicans have already introduced policy proposals that would impose new work requirements on some of America’s welfare programs. Last year, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-Tex.) and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) unveiled a poverty plan as part of Ryan’s “A Better Way” agenda, which also called for the imposition of new work requirements.

The plans at the time were largely markers of future intention, signaling the party’s vision but not indicative of an imminent push for legislative action.

Something tells me this is going to take some filibustering  from the Dems to nip this and kill this in the bud if they have the spine (nah.) Extreme filibustering.

Figurehead Trump did not even wait to sign this. In all certainty he also didn’t fucking read it. In his golden ukelele string maned covered head, he wanted to fulfill his promise to sign the bill before Christmas. The thing is of course that the promise he was most concerned about, after all the other failed ones regarding immigration and travel bans, was the promise to enhance his personal wealth. This is the fleshed out, current reality based adaptation of Dickens’ Christmas Carol, except that Scrooge sleeps through the four ghosts that invade his dreams and continues hoarding his wealth siphoned from the masses. As the timid elected Democrats, collectively resembling the meek assistant Ratchett, let him get away with this shit without true assertion and protest.

So forget about any Christmas cheer and gift giving in the lower and middle classes in the near future. Don’t want to forget those that yearn for higher education. For we have to pay their fair share now and our children and their paychecks are the future. Extreme fair share. Hopefully us proles will be able to hoard our money as well as the higher society populace of corporate executives, shareholders and of course our chosen members of legislative and executive public service did.

Wrath Of The Scumlords: NYCHA Takes Responsibility For Misleading Lead Reports By Making Their Tenants Lives Difficult And Propagandizing And Flattering Commissioner Olatoye, Two Queens Town’s Gentrifications Gives Affordable Rent Tenants The Heave-Ho, A 100-Year-Old Woman Getting Pressured To Leave While Incapacitated, And A Guy Convicted By A Judge Of Being An All Around And Actual Scumlord

https://i0.wp.com/www.asafehome.net/SiteGraphics/SMII_BrokenDoorwDeadbolt.jpg Left to right: dramatization of breaking a lock for lead prevention, the “Lead Lady” Shoya Olatoye, senior citizen and tenant Justa Lopez placed on notice, convicted criminal landlord/developer Daniel Melamud.

Looks like the folks at NYCHA and probably their purveyors at city hall might be taking their jobs seriously now after last week’s revelation of covering up bogus lead inspections and infinite other oversights. And they are not showing a millimeter of class about it.

After appointing a redundant position to assure accountability, for real this time, Shoya and her new crack committee decided to take immediate yet invasive action for actual lead inspections by breaking the locks if no one is home at the time. Leading to new aggravation and inconvenience for the suffering tenants who will certainly be at work or picking up kids at school, for this effort will mostly be done mid-afternoon. Also obviously for more costs with replacing locks and making new keys. Though it’s not certain if some deduction from tenants rents will be considered from this moronic bureaucratic decision, as if the year of neglecting to do federal ordered inspections isn’t enough of a price to pay. Or even if the people they hired are even certified professionals, for it turns out that NYCHA did not even vet the contractors assigned to inspect and repaint the units. Fucking grave.

As NYCHA is now a functioning entity on lead extraction, instead of previously being an optical one, they actually have been quite active on asbestos removal. And just has reckless and irresponsible as the agency’s recent approach on lead, as evidenced at the Seward Park Houses on the Lower East Side by the FDR drive. As the contractors they hired for the toxic removal placed contaminant tents on the project’s playground, exactly right next to the jungle gym and a slide, denying the kids of tenants a safe place to have fun for the last 3 months and certainly for the rest of their remaining childhood

Asbestos huts in a dilapidated playground at the Seward Houses. Sick and twisted.

This is absolutely deranged. And it looks like those playthings need a lead inspection and repainting itself, for it looks like it hasn’t been upgraded in a decade. With this revolting development here, this spot looks like prime bait for the odious NextGen plan to take  unused space like this and parking lots for future development of new buildings with market rate rentals with help from the private real estate industry. Which is naturally the case here, as is NextGen being a program for city sanctioned plunder of government property for predator developers.

While this irresponsible misuse of an public funded amenity is outrageous, NYCHA’s asbestos abatement process is standard procedure.

There’s a lot more where this came from, check out this woman’s youtube channel, she’s got over a dozen more documented flagrant offenses and NYCHA cruelty and brazenness. This building, which is in the super trendy world fascination destination Brooklyn™ makes it seem that Steve Croman, Jared Kushner or Daniel Malemud was running NYCHA. (Yeah, who’s Malemud, you’ll see at the end).

Well, it looks like the Commish is starting to feel the pangs of shame from the general public, mostly from the poor, demanding her termination despite the arrogant, obstinate orders from Day Mayor de Faustio demanding that she remain in her undeserved post. And even from the deluded Ms Olatoye herself, who absolutely has not learned a fucking thing, for she has just summoned her staffers to distribute a hilarious petition letter to the suffering tenant associations for them to sign to advocate for her to remain at her job, as she is about to face the city council in a few days:

A blind person can see the defensive nature of this petition. This letter might be the first of it’s kind that was actually commandeered by an executive instead of the normal protocol which involves actual community participation. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty fucking demented. What does Shoya via the petition mean by we? The royal we, maybe.

With this obnoxious self-preservation letter NYCHA again finds the funds, in spite of being $17 billion dollars in debt and being forced to seek the aid of the real estate overlords, to piss away on bureaucratic bullshit instead of making their buildings habitable and depriving the civil and civic rights and peace of mind of it’s residents. As is wont of the perpetually troubled and corrupt agency, for with the dispatching of actual lobbyists at the bidding of Shoya it falls directly in line for their historic usage of lawyers commissioned to boot tenants out into the streets. A NY Daily News story from 2013 showed that NYCHA under the direction of asshole technocrat John Rhea spent as much money and hiring on lawyers (8 million plus at the time for 98 lawyers), that you and their poor tenants they hassled paid for, than they spent on bricklayers (6 million plus at time at a total of 65 workers). And roofers (2 million plus for 29 workers) and exterminators (3.8 million for 90 workers) combined. Surely this is a big factor in the decrepit and decaying conditions of these publicly funded buildings and the ongoing deliberate attempts to dissuade poor citizens from living there.

The crazy lady commissioner apparently is cognizant of the reaming she is going to get even from the self-serving hacks of the city council. The majority of electeds are looking for her removal and it syncs well with prominent members looking to extend their terms in another voter referendum, the third time it’s been considered and a sound trashing would make for great optics among voters, if they show up of course. Despite that, she still has got to go. And go down hard.

Meanwhile in Astoria and Long Island City in Queens, rent-stabilized tenants have been under duress from their stingy and avaricious proprietors for over a year, driven by the hyped cachet and hyperdevelopment in those respective towns and exorbitant rent speculation/fabrication in both. A fire that engulfed the L.I.C. building that forced section 8 tenants to take up shelter with their relatives as the city-ordered repairs and renovations continued to be delayed by the building’s owners, conveniently keeping them away.

The rent-regulated building in Astoria is another quite sordid affair as the tenants there have been in constant battle with a proclaimed Christian non-profit that has ran the building for quite some time now wants to kick all of them out so they can run the place as a homeless shelter. In a morbid twist of irony, the group known as NYSUM, the  claims that they are not making enough money to sustain affordable housing there and would do better if they just house the homeless, which current city policies have turned into a profitable quasi-industry. Just ask some certain hoteliers. To do this, which NYSUM has been doing for almost a year and a half, they have relied on less measured predatory tactics like disconnecting free wifi and hardcore ones like tearing up a garden the tenants cared for and sending goons under the non-profits name to intimidate the tenants.

The tenants there have been persistent and have been able to remain. Unfortunately so is NYSCUM who served them eviction notices. The evil being dealt by the pseudo-Christian group cannot even be measured considering that the people that they are disenfranchising from their homes will certainly be homeless with nowhere to go because of the lunatic market rate induced on their town, and clearly will not be invited back despite being qualified for the non-profits purported mission because of their forced status. That they are causing. NYSCUM is more like it.

In another case of savage cruelty and contempt for the aged, Justa Lopez, a 100-year-old woman and resident of this city for 70 years, received an eviction notice from her landlord accusing her of not being present at her residence even though she got injured from the uneven floor she walks on. If the building management would have repaired the damaged surface they would have noticed her presence, so it seems that refusing service to her is another way, another cheap underhanded tactic to not acknowledge her existence and a deliberate criminal way to gradually force her out. And with her time away from her home getting healed at a nursing home makes her tenancy status conveniently untenable, giving the landlords fabrications of her convalescence at a nursing home then her daughter’s house as an extra residency a warped and technically legal justification to deny to return to her rent-stabilized apartment on the upper east side.

In a little bit of good news and rare justice being served. A landlord tormenting rent-stabilized tenants in a building he ran in Crown Heights in an brutal and common practice attempt to spread gentrification by refusing to turn on heat and gas and doing environmentally hazardous gut renovations on empty apts. of the tenants he bought off causing contaminants to spread throughout the building in daily clouds of lead, got thrown in the slammer for his egregious and nefarious dirty deeds which included grand larceny and forgery for creating shell companies to buy more properties and flip them for profits (sound familiar, Bill? you recall Rivington House?) and falsifying applications to get loans from H.U.D. (sound familiar, Shoya and you too Bill?).

The NY Post determined this vile man with a vile plan guilty plea as a admission of being an unadulterated scumbag. Which if one can humblebrag is a validation of my term for this kind of lowlife and bag of dicks and shit assembled and stitched in human form.

The scumlord phenomenon and scourge might just catch on, and it damn well should to cure the affordability crisis pandemic and give NYCHA executives and this fucking mayor a sense of shame in perpetuity as long as these unnecessary conditions continue for the real affordable housing plan in the 5 boroughs.

Mandate My Ass, Mayor Bill

https://pixel.nymag.com/imgs/daily/intelligencer/2017/03/01/01-bill-de-blasio-approval.w710.h473.jpgI couldn’t have expressed his delusions better myself. Hmm, yeah I could.

Just a few days after winning the election with the record low 8.5% of votes by around 700,000  out of 5,000,000 registered voters, Day Mayor Bill de Blasio decreed that he now has an official mandate to pass his bland fauxgressive neoliberal policies. He is so sure of this and himself that he petulantly repeated it 12 times to the press circle.

Of course he would say this, for shit-talking is the default standard for public speaking in these dark days of politics and money this young century.

Go, on Billy:

“Guys, an election’s an election. People decide if they want to participate,” he said.

“You can go back through every election in history and parse it and question it and relitigate (??) it, but we have one unified system . . . So this is a clear, strong mandate.”

N.Y. Post

“I don’t know what your definition of an election is, but my definition is that people decide to participate and whoever gets the most votes wins, and if you have a two-thirds margin, that is a clear, strong mandate, and that came from everyone that participated. I think it’s unquestionably a clear mandate,” he said in a City Hall press conference.

Politco

I guess he and maybe his cult of 300 city aides are looking at the wide percentage margin of the total vote instead of the 80% who didn’t bother to show up on Tuesday and the 70,000 less votes he got this time around.

Politico had a good analysis regarding de Faustio’s pathetic bragging citing a few books on the topic:

Christopher Achen and Larry Bartels show in their book “Democracy for Realists” that voters mostly choose parties and candidates on the basis of social identities and partisan loyalties, not political issues.

“Voters, even the most informed voters, typically make choices not on the basis of policy preferences or ideology, but on the basis of who they are — their social identities,” they write.

Julia Azari, a professor of political science at Marquette University, found in her book “Delivering the People’s Message” that presidents talk more about mandates either when their presidency is lacking legitimacy or when they are pushing at the boundaries of their authority.

“It’s a defensive strategy for politicians who feel like they are not legitimate, or under threat or flailing in some form or fashion,” Azari said in an interview.

She said that claims of a mandate are really about what the politician needs, as opposed to what the election was really about.

Which brings up the fact and the hubristic boasting by the day mayor about how Donald Trump played a massive factor in his small victory:

Hizzoner gave credit for the win to his message — but also to President Trump, who he claimed drove many voters to the polls.

“Oh, my God. Yes. Absolutely,” he said when asked if Trump played a role.

“I say with humility, I have been a leading anti-Trump voice,” de Blasio said. “A lot of people have been turned back on to the political process because of their frustration with Donald Trump.”

N.Y. Daily News

And why he is ultra-defensive and cognizant of his weakened status and his credibility with his constituents, even the ones who begrudgingly support him or voted for him out of fear.

Although it’s not like he didn’t try to persuade or even induce people to come out to ensure the legitimacy for his “mandate” even before he won. As if the awarding of $2,000,000 in matching campaign funds from the B.O.E. derived from his bogus claims of challenging primary competitors even though Bill had a 70% advantage and the public was not familiar with his opponents.

For it should be noted that in the weeks leading to the underwhelming turnout on Election Day, the mayor hedged his bets and made absolutely sure for his heavily favored certain victory by sending out a language translator contractor at taxpaying voter expense in southern Brooklyn, which was home to the presidential primary purge last year, to aide Russian and Creole speaking citizens to vote with orders to the NYPD not to interfere with the hired gun interpreters and the shady operation. Because the incumbent mayor and the minions in city council care so much for democracy’s process.

The taint of influencing voters and the recent admonishment of the BOE after their admission and charges didn’t do much to prevent the presence of the mercenary interpreters despite the 100 foot anti-encroachment order.

Now he’s back and declaring of a undeserved, unearned, self-professed mandate, it’s quite known who will benefit from this grandstanding. In fact, they already have been benefiting since the beginning of the weak mayor’s first term, and that’s the ones involved in the worst aspects of predatory development and equity being the owners and their lobbyists.

This was immediately acknowledged in the East Village in Manhattan, as community organizations are taking proactive measures to resist the invasive and enabled actions of the Gentrification Industrial Complex involving the re-elected mayor and his subservience to his developer donors in a mission to remake a residential area into a commercial metropolis. Also in Queens where Long Island City has just been subsumed by tower pestilence and massive rent increases in areas nearby in the last 24 months.

It’s what to expect from this stupid fucking idiot and the dire future the next 4 years hold for the citizens of the five boroughs. Persist and resist, and hope Norman Seabrook is found guilty (wait for it).

NYC Board Of Elections Broke The Law And No One Is Convicted Of The Treasonous Disenfranchisement Of The Constituency

https://i1.wp.com/bklyner.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/vote-here-sign-election1.jpg?fit=640%2C480&ssl=1 https://i0.wp.com/www.gothamgazette.com/images/voting-booth.jpg  Go ahead and try. I triple dog dare you.

WNYC: City Board of Elections Admits It Broke the Law, Accepts Reforms

The New York City Board of Elections is admitting it broke state and federal law when it improperly removed voters from the rolls ahead of the presidential primary last spring, including more than 117,000 voters in Brooklyn.

That’s according to a draft consent decree announced Tuesday— nearly a year after the Board was sued in federal court for violating the National Voter Registration Act and state election law.

The Brooklyn voter purge was first reported by WNYC just days before last spring’s primary election.

As a part of the settlement, the Board agreed to a series of remedial measures that will be in place at least through the next presidential election, November 2020 — pending court approval. The deal restores the rights of improperly purged voters and establishes a comprehensive plan to prevent illegal voter purges in future elections.

“I see their willingness to grapple with this problem as a significant step forward,” said Susan Lerner, head of the good government group Common Cause New York, the lead plaintiff in the case.

The lawsuit was originally filed in November 2016 by the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, Latino Justice/PRLDEF and Dechert LLP on behalf of Common Cause New York and several individual plaintiffs. In early 2017, both the Justice Department and New York State Attorney General’s office made motions to join the lawsuit.

“The suit was commenced because there were real problems,” said Ezra Rosenberg, with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law. “People were being kicked off the voter list even though they were eligible to vote in New York City.”

The consent decree requires the board to submit a plan to fix how it manages its voter rolls within 90 days. That includes documenting all the procedures associated with list maintenance and identifying specific staff at the central office and in the boroughs to oversee these functions.

NY Daily News: NYC’s Board of Elections will admit it purged more than 200,000 voters from city rolls

New York City’s Board of Elections will acknowledge it broke the law and be making serious changes in its practices, according to the proposed settlement of a legal fight over the purge of more than 200,000 voters from city rolls.

After many Brooklyn residents arrived at the polls during last year’s presidential primary to learn they were deemed ineligible to vote, the good government group Common Cause New York filed suit. State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and the Brooklyn U.S. Attorney’s office joined the litigation.

But rather than slug it out in Brooklyn federal court, the sides have been working on a settlement for months. Now, a proposed pact slated for filing Wednesday would mandate reforms in the city election agency.

In a statement, Schneiderman said the city’s Board of Elections “illegally purged over 200,000 New Yorkers from the rolls, violating the law and New Yorkers’ trust in the institutions meant to protect their rights.”

Schneiderman said the proposed settlement “would overhaul NYCBOE’s practices for maintaining voter rolls, ensuring that the issues that led to the purges are addressed, and establishing frequent monitoring and oversight. My office will continue to protect all voters’ access to the polls and continue to fight to expand voting rights.”

First off before the obligatory rant, viewers should see how this was covered by the NY Daily News above in the actual newspaper, where yours truly and a vast majority of citizens still get their information first. It was buried in a bitty place in the middle of page 18:

Something of this severity should have been on the front page if the editors genuinely gave a damn about their readers. But I guess that because of the banal settlement the editors didn’t warrant it the attention they would give of Trump’s latest twitter vomit or some former child star turned skank adult’s recent exhibitions.

Now here’s something to ponder about as you head to the polls today citizens, or if you don’t bother to show up at all keeping the system rotten to the core and composed of feces.

For the plaintiff’s, being Common Cause, reaction to the leniency towards this attack on the voters, which resembles a sinister modern day tech version of suppressing suffrage involving all that resembles content and closure. When if it isn’t for the current cynicism of government and acceptance of endemic corruption and the decline of voter interest and turnouts because of it, that the individuals involved in this purge should be hit with massive fines, the loss of their jobs and even imprisonment for their reprehensible actions in the disenfranchisement of the registered voters. This is no better, in a passive aggressive method, than the way farcical obligatory elections are held under dictatorships. Instead these assholes at the B.O.E. get short suspensions and lame restructuring of their processes.

The twisted part of this current blight on this nation, the U.S.A., is how the methods to remove registrations off the rolls, which were mostly Hispanic and Asian, was almost similar to the tactics arranged by GOP officials, including current White House aide to investigate national voter fraud Kris Kobach to purge voter rolls in red states according to muckraking journalist Greg Palast:

Starting in 2013 – just as the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act – a coterie of Trump operatives, under the direction of Kris Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State, created a system to purge 1.1 million Americans of color from the voter rolls of GOP–controlled states.

The system, called Crosscheck, is detailed in my Rolling Stone report,
The GOP’s Stealth War on Voters,” 8/24/2016.

Crosscheck in action:
Trump victory margin in Michigan:                    13,107
Michigan Crosscheck purge list:                       449,922

Trump victory margin in Arizona:                       85,257
Arizona Crosscheck purge list:                           270,824

Trump victory margin in North Carolina:        177,008
North Carolina Crosscheck purge list:              589,393

On Tuesday, we saw Crosscheck elect a Republican Senate and as President, Donald Trump.  The electoral putsch was aided by nine other methods of attacking the right to vote of Black, Latino and Asian-American voters, methods detailed in my book and film, including “Caging,” “purging,” blocking legitimate registrations, and wrongly shunting millions to “provisional” ballots that will never be counted.

Trump signaled the use of “Crosscheck” when he claimed the election is “rigged” because “people are voting many, many times.”  His operative Kobach, who also advised Trump on building a wall on the southern border, devised a list of 7.2 million “potential” double voters—1.1 million of which were removed from the voter rolls by Tuesday. The list is loaded overwhelmingly with voters of color and the poor. Here’s a sample of the list

Those accused of criminal double voting include, for example, Donald Alexander Webster Jr. of Ohio who is accused of voting a second time in Virginia as Donald EUGENE Webster SR.

No, not everyone on the list loses their vote.  But this was not the only racially poisonous tactic that accounted for this purloined victory by Trump and GOP candidates.

For example, in the swing state of North Carolina, it was reported that 6,700 Black folk lost their registrations because their registrations had been challenged by a group called Voter Integrity Project (VIP). VIP sent letters to households in Black communities “do not forward.”  If the voter had moved within the same building, or somehow did not get their mail (e.g. if their name was not on a mail box), they were challenged as “ghost” voters.  GOP voting officials happily complied with VIP with instant cancellation of registrations.

The 6,700 identified in two counties were returned to the rolls through a lawsuit.  However, there was not one mention in the press that VIP was also behind Crosscheck in North Carolina; nor that its leader, Col. Jay Delancy, whom I’ve tracked for years has previously used this vote thievery, known as “caging,” for years.  Doubtless the caging game was wider and deeper than reported.  And by the way, caging, as my Rolling Stone co-author, attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr., tells me, is “a felony, it’s illegal, and punishable by high fines and even jail time.”

There is still much investigation to do.  For example, there are millions of “provisional” ballots, “spoiled” (invalidated) ballots and ballots rejected from the approximately 30 million mailed in.  Unlike reporting in Britain, US media does not report the ballots that are rejected and tossed out—because, after all, as Joe Biden says, “Our elections are the envy of the world.”  Only in Kazakhstan, Joe.

While there is a great deal of work to do, much documentation still to analyze, we’ll have to pry it from partisan voting chiefs who stamp the scrub lists, Crosscheck lists and ballot records, “confidential.”

But, the evidence already in our hands makes me sadly confident in saying, Jim Crow, not the voters, elected Mr. Trump.

Now check out the what WNYC found which names were removed in the Brooklyn Primary Purge, in this case all were Hispanics and Asians:

Now combine this with the recent revelations by former DNC Donna Brazile in her new book, which comedian Ron Placone remarked that the only way justice can prevail for people is if someone is given a million dollar book deal, on how “Manifest” Hillary Clinton took full control of the DNC in 2015 right before she declared her candidacy and a mysterious vanishing of 60,000 registered Democrats off the county rolls in Brooklyn caused by a CD-rom filled with spreadsheets of the voters that also disappeared in the same fashion. It looks like the de facto leader and candidate wanted to nip this primary in New York in the bud and the B.O.E. could conveniently blame the disenfranchising on a tech glitch or in this situation, oversight and incompetence. Because being stupid is not illegal. The latter has been utilized even after the supposed corrections were promised in bogus and misleading postcards after the presidential primary purge.

Even though these devious machinations passing as clerical and digital errors have been going on reportedly since 2013, these didn’t take true devastating effect until about the time when Ms. Clinton was running for president and the B.O.E. wasted taxpayer dollars trying to ward off accusations and lawsuits, which are still ongoing.

There has to be a tipping point for criminal incompetence like this. Although the slick execution and sophistication of this suppression of votes reveals and confirms a massive conspiracy for certain people to hold on to power. These wide ranging tactics, since they clearly and blatantly involve race, violates LBJ’s voting rights act from 1965 that was ratified after the brutal attacks in Selma, Alabama. Unfortunately, incompetence and stupidity, and the monstrous ambitions of a craven individual don’t count as or are exempt from civil rights violations.

It is preposterous that the B.O.E. can be trusted with the flow and the institution of democracy, no matter how much they fixed it after they fixed it.

Well it’s all better now. And the nation, particularly the citizens of South Brooklyn, can walk with their heads held high when they go to the polls and pick their favored candidates. Although with certainty, the cynicism will remain and continue to fester when the day is done and with 2 or 4 more years of disappointment from their chosen leaders. And the permanent government that has been made and nurtured by the willful mistakes and accidents by the Board Of Elections.

Don’t let this dissuade you all from voting though. Because that’s what they, the establishment politicians and the lousy status quo want. Change is obviously going to take a while and this is the only power you all have to obliterate the machine and the big club of owners ruining the republic and democracy. Fill in the circle and fuck up their pampered lives and elitist circles. End this shitty cycle one piece/one vote at a time.

Impunity City Endorses Sal Alabanese For Mayor Of New York City.

https://i0.wp.com/news12bk.images.worldnow.com/images/15331409_G.jpgSee this guy. This is the guy who should run New York.

New York, N.Y.

This digital publication is getting behind and voting for Sal Albanese (Reform Party) for Mayor of the 5 boroughs. This was not that difficult after the last debate by the incumbent mayor and his recognizable opponents, Nicole and Bo.

See for yourselves, citizens.

De Faustio absolutely offered nothing and unwittingly admitted he accomplished nothing. Though he did take undeserved credit for the virtual decrease in crime and touted his farcical affordable housing plan and played down the homeless crisis he exacerbated with his cajoling and subservience to predatory developers and landlords. Jona Rechnitz cannot be the only one who benefited from his donations to the sell out mayor. Other than that, he spent the majority of the debate lying non-stop and defiantly answered that he would not release any more email or messages involving his pay to play dalliances to the journalists or the public that demands them.

Malliotakis has solid plans and policies for the city but she didn’t really go into depth about them and focused a lot of her time on de Faustio’s favored property tax issues. She did deliver some killer jabs and had a big KO in her closing statement, but the majority of the debate she flubbed a lot. Although there was one striking moment where she brought up the 25% rise in sexual assaults under de Faustio’s term that was predictably disputed by the incumbent mayor and even by the moderator Maurice Dubois who insisted she was mistaken. Turns out she was right.

Dietl, though subdued, was terrible again despite bringing up the mayor’s transgressions and opining that he should be imprisoned, which are actually inarguable observations, but what really stood out was his plan to build a tower for the homeless on Randall’s Island. Which sounds like something out of a graphic novel like Arkham Asylum. Which means that the city under Bo will have to start a new transit line, police station and fire dept. to accommodate it. Not to mention where will these people shop for food and other stuff. It’s got the makings of a very expensive boondoggle and a potential for more graft. After this shitshow performance, somewhere in the city, Bo is demanding 15 seconds.

What really distinguishes how none of these candidates at the debate are qualified to run the city is that they refused to answer a question brought up the moderator (narrator to Mr. Dietl, yeesh) about what to do about the pandemic of gentrification and what they would say to a citizen who is living in fear of being displaced. My fave Nicole blew it when she refused to even name a town that has seen the overwhelming devastating effects.

Well, Nicole, there’s the obvious of Williamsburg, Bushwick, Long Island City, Harlem, the East Village and Lower East Side. And the current threats to towns like Ridgewood, Rockaway Beach, Jamaica, East New York, East Harlem and the South Bronx.

That’s why the guy who is deserving and most qualified to lead the city, after over a decade of trying as a perpetual ignored underdog is the man who wasn’t there at the debate. Sal Albanese.

Albanese recognizes the consistent problems going on, especially the transit system with a plan to fund it which our mayor continues to ignore and defer to his idiot rival Cuomo to keep up his preoccupied idiotic feud with him, and a great and genuine affordable housing plan to use up vacant properties the city owns and ignores. And mostly to clamp down on the entrenched corruption, wasteful spending and gladhanding going on in local politics.

Albanese is the guy and has been waiting a long time for this. And frankly, it takes a lot of balls to take the reins of this city that’s in ruins but hidden by the tower pestilence of hyper-development and shady money funneling and investments nurturing it. It also helps that Sal is not compromised or funded by the REBNY overlords.

Fill in the circle or write in the name if he’s not on the ballot for Sal Albanese. As we are being reminded by a certain asshole, this is your city, so vote for someone who will not sell it out.

As for the other positions;

James C. Lane (Green Party) for Public Advocate

Michel J. Faulkner (Republican) for Comptroller. Stringer endorses de Faustio despite all the horrendous reports of his spending and homeless policies

William K Kregler for Queens Borough President, because Melinda Katz is stupid.

Frank Francois (Green Party) for City Council District 27

Ivan D. Mossop (Republican) for City Council District 28 (Destroy the Queens Machine)

In District 29 for City Council, Karen Koslowitz is running unopposed, so leave the circle unfilled or write in a candidate. I suggest a bartender from Buffalo Wild Wings that you enjoy getting advice from.

Robert F. Holden (Reform Party, Conservative) for City Council District 30. Because Elizabeth Crowley is violent.

Donovan Richards (Democrat) for City Council District 30, running unopposed. Has good policies.

Paul Graziano (Reform Party) for City Council District 19. His opponents are dishonest hack and developer patsy Paul Vallone and a 20-year-old dungeon master/interactive gamer/Hurley from Lost looking guy running on the Republican ticket for some bizarre reason.

This one is tough, but Eric Ulrich (Republican) for City Council District 32. His moves must be watched closely though.

In District 34 for City Council, Antonio Reynoso (Democrat) is running unopposed. This is the spazz who came up with the night mayor position. He is an idiot, so leave it blank or write in someone or something instead, like a homeless guy wandering in traffic or a broken craft beer bottle.

Marc Fleidner for N.Y. Attorney General as a write-in ballot against the wretched sell-out Cy Vance Jr. who is running unopposed, which means even the worst wealthiest Republicans like and endorse this guy that they would not run a candidate on their ticket.

Finally there is Proposal 1 on the constitutional convention. I am voting yes for this because the worst elected officials, including the incumbent mayor of course, are against it and the NYPD went out of their way to illegally campaign for a no vote by plastering police car bumpers with stickers. A lot of fear mongering is also being used to influence the voters from considering it too.

Do your thing everyone. Let’s get a bigger turnout this time. Unless you want shitty government and corruption to continue to thrive.
