Seems like it’s gonna be one of those years again of endless tragedies–news just broke that veteran actor Orson Bean was just killed in a car accident a few hours ago.

Just like in 2016 when Bowie, Ali and Prince died. I am trying to write some culture posts but these passings have become so frequent
Orson Bean was a cool dude. I used to see him on the Tattletales game show where Bert Convy would asked celebrities and their spouses personal and at times awkward questions. It was like the Newlywed Game.

Regarding Bean, I think he was also a frequent guest on those panel game shows of the 1950s (like To Tell The Truth). I didn’t catch Tattletales when I was younger but I saw it for the first time a few years ago when it started appearing on the Buzzr network.

That’s right. Buzzr shows those reruns too. They are still entertaining after 60 plus years.
